You notice the two Jasmine clones fading, as if Jasmine is losing magic and can't sustain them all anymore. Or maybe she's preparing a stronger attack so that SHE wins?
Nekora:
You quickly find out that both figures are Jasmine clones; they're teaming up on you. You can tell from their thoughts that they're going to let out giant blasts of magic to break the ice, but they're going to centralize it somewhere to make sure they get at least one of them through the ice before you seal it. But given the amount of power you feel coursing through their minds, it's going to be next to impossible to seal it up before both are below the water. However, you can't tell where they're directing their combined blast...
Ayumu:

Misaki:
She stops firing, and it sounds like she's coming close. You can see her coming towards you, and she likely sees you now, too.
Jade:
As you walk into the trees, your breathing is heavy from the fatigue of the attack, but you quickly notice Misaki just ahead, her sword and shield at the ready. However, she can likely see you, too.
Chi:

Purrfect! I think to myself. I swin the the bottom of the water and wait for their attack to come. I wait until my ice barrier is breached and the clones are fully commited to the attack, and then shatter the rest of it and turn it into a whirling storm of sharp shards of ice to get both of them at once.

Why couldn't we have gotten a commander who doesn't cheat? She has an attitude I despise. She shouldn't be a part of this exercise. She's got more experience than us. This isn't fair.

She looked down"Is Oneesan mad that I got her out? I had to take out one of those clones before you came along, but maybe you are mad at me, If you are Oneesan please don't hold in that anger, It isn't healthy!"she said worried about chi, she seemed like the kind of girl who hates to lose.

I aim both my pistols at Misaki and begin circling her slowly. I was too low on magic power to use time to my advantage at this point, so I knew keeping my opponent at a distance was my best chance at victory. I eye Misaki carefully and analyze her stance for any openings I can exploit.

I keep my shield facing Jade, and try to set the front of my shield alight with soul fire, as well as my sword, and charge at jade with my shield, and try to get a sword hit in as well.

Nekora:
The blast not only breaches the ice barrier, but it throws quiet a bit of water out of the pond, lowering the water level therein. You get slammed down pretty hard, dazing you. But you can sense them coming for you.
Jade:
There does not seem to be an exploitable weakness; she is very-well trained as a soldier. She rushes at you, her sword and shield alight with Soulfire. She only glances you, leaving her back open to you until she spins around. It hurts, but you should be able to fight back easily enough.
Misaki:
You glance her, only slightly harming her, and leave yourself open to a backstabbing attacking.
Emmy & Chi & Ayumu:
The two Jasmine clones disappear completely.

I try to bring my shield around as quickly as possible, and if possible start closing in.

I turn around and fire off as many shots as I can before she turns around, not caring too much where I hit, so I aim at center mass and hope to get in the largest quantity of shots possible. Once she is turned around, I start backing away, keeping an eye on her so that I have a better chance at dodging her next attack, and also steadying my aim with one pistol aimed directly at her head and the other aimed down low at her knees.

I once more attempt to turn my defences into a whirling cyclone of death to shred apart my assailents. I reach my mind out to Misaki, if I can contact her. Hey! Misaki! Wanna do a truce? The rules never said we can't choose to not be enemies, and two people stand a better chance of winning than one! Let me know, and I'll send you the location.

Misaki:
You get hit with three bullets before you can bring your shield around. You are able to close in easily enough, and you only get hit one more time. The individual bullets are weak, but the collective can hurt badly, it seems. Jade is backing away, though. Also, you hear Nekora's message in your head.
Jade:
You hit Misaki three times before she turns around, then one more time. You haven't done much damage yet. She starts closing in on you. Your aim is pretty steady.
Nekora:
The ice barrier begins to break, its pieces flying around in your cyclone. However, it's taking a lot more effort than you expected. You can already see a clone rushing at you, not yet affected by the cyclone. The other one is struggling to stay out of it.

"Shards! I don't like that new power of her's!I say startled. By the first egg! I will aid you for now, I do not need more foes right now. I try to fight though my pain, and take a more defensive approach. I still try to get close enough to strike, but now that Nekora has asked for aid, I try to see if I can bring this fight closer to the lake. "You fight well Jade, I am glad that I fight by your side in battle!

I still concentrate on my vortex, rushing or not, Jasmine's clone will have to pass through it in order to get to me, which is where the real damage will begin. Well, I'm thinking about winning this battle through alliance. If we both refuse to kill each other, eventually we should both emerge as victors, right? By the way, I've got a whirling vortex of ice going on over here, it might do some awesome combo damage if you chuck someone in!
