Buttercup's vision blurred. She was in a battlefield, dead humans littered the ground; blood was weeping through the landscape. Buttercup looked up; there was something perched in a nearby tree. She growled, not knowing what it was. A white bird flew from the tree and landed on the ground in front of her, it's blood red eyes looking into her soul. Buttercup stared at the bird for a moment, trying to remember, to recollect, to piece together why this bird sparked a deep emotion buried within her. "You want to forget, but you cannot.....I am and always will be a part of you." The bird spoke into buttercup's mind. Suddenly the memories came rushing back; the battle with the humans, Irc, the orb, Ren, the pack, Irc........For a moment she felt the grief, but the grief was replaced with anger. Buttercup attacked the bird, fury burning in her eyes. "Why did you do that, why did you sacrifice yourself, why did you die, WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME???!!!!!!!!!!"
Buttercup jumped up and began attacking the nearest tree, not yet fully awake. Blood started dripping off her claws as the splinters accumulated on her paws.

No matter how many times she tried to claw the bird, he was still there, he wouldn't go away, the pain was still there. The scene faded away; buttercup kept attacking. Suddenly there was a tree in front of her, and her paws were bleeding. Buttercup, surprised at what she was doing, stopped attacking the tree. She took a deep breath and examined her surroundings. There was a blue wolf she didn't recognize sleeping on the ground. Ren was standing nearby, a concerned look on her face.

Buttercup eyed the food. Her stomach growled in response. She nodded to ren in thanks before devouring all the food.

Buttercup started feeling nauseous. After not eating for months the sudden intake of food did not agree with her. Buttercup lay down on the ground, her head spinning.

❣ Ren goes over to Buttercup and opens her pouch of water, the water starts glowing, she first uses the water to heal Buttercup's claws. She then makes the water cover her paws, the water still glowing, she puts her paws over Buttercup's ears and calms her down. ❣

A feeling of warmth spread throughout buttercup's body, calming her stomach. Before buttercup could thank Ren, her vision blurred. Soon buttercup was snoring peacefully next to the blue wolf.

Frost wakes up and instantly smells blood and 'off' food. He stands up examines his surroundings and finds the tree that had been clawed at. After a while Frost sighs and sits up.

❣ Ren gets up and looks around. She notices Frost but decides to ignore him for some reason. She uses her powers to make a bed of ice appear under Buttercup. The bed of ice starts floating. Ren then runs off into the woods with the floating bed of ice that Buttercup is on following her. She eventually ends up at the den. She goes inside and makes the bed of ice stop floating in Buttercup's usual corner, which no one has been in since Buttercup and Ren left. She then goes outside and to the nearby river. She sits down and starts practicing her powers. She makes the water turn to ice. She then makes there be a small hole in the ice. She then makes there be dozens of small holes in the ice. She then melts all the ice. She notices a Squirrel nearby. She remembers the angry Squirrel and when it pooped on Xander's fur. She can't help but burst out laughing when she remembers that. She then stops laughing and thinks I wonder what that Squirrel's name was. I wonder if it had a family. Poor Squirrel family, they'll probably never know that the Squirrel is dead. Unless that Squirrel is part of the Squirrel's family. If it is it must be so sad! her mind continues to wander, she is unaware of her surroundings while her mind is wandering. ❣

Strongheart begins waking up and then stands up stretching. She then goes outside the den to get a drink of water and notices Ren. She wants to say something, yet sees that Ren doesn't look like she wants disturbed. Strongheart then goes to the water and laps up a bit of water. When she's finished she looks around and notices a squirrel. 'Cute little squirrel.' she thought.
