Rak suddenly grabbed Solms and with a mighty toss, hurled the Hunterdown the street, aiming for an open refuse bin. Cale smirked at the a**-kicking the hunter got then went to pick up Rain. Carrying the unconcious woman over his shoulder and getting net webbing on his jacket, Cale whistled to Rak and inclined his head. "Yo! Rak! Stop playing with bounty boy. We gotta get the hell out of here." Rak rolled his eye to look back over his shoulder at Cale and gave another low rumble but turned to follow anyway, limping a tad as the two made their way to the Auric Runner. Soon the Ship was under way and sprinting for Skull Base with Rak in the only Bacta tank and Cale buisly repairing his myriad of electronic gadgets.

Solms landed with a bone aching thud onto the hard street and for a moment lay there as though dead. Slowly he managed to sit up, making no noise despite the agony he was in. He popped off his chestplate and drew out a Bacta vial and a spray aplicator He sprayed it on the spot where the Barabel had punched him, feeling better almost imediately. The Hunter stood up and checked the readouts in his helmit. The Shock-boxer gloves did a number on his systems, but nonetheless they protected him from what he was certain was a lethal dose of energy. "This isnt over, Darksun." The Hunter said as he watched the distinctive form of the Auric Runner lift off and fly away. "This is the second time you've barely managed to escape from me. The Third time's the Charm." With that he summoned his airspeeder and made his way to his home to repair and heal.

Cale wiped the oiled cloth along the barrel of his blaster as he became aware he was under someone's angry gaze. Looking to the door, he spotted the seething Rain staring at him. "Do you realize the Sith I went through to save your Corellian a**?" Cale blinked and looked about the room, finding himself alone with a woman who could break him in twain. He sighed and looked back to Rain. "Yes, and I am very grateful." "I want to know how you're going to make this up to me." "Well I was gonna buy you a drink-" Rain angrily yanked at her hair, stun net webbing making a mess of her red locks. "This Sith is in my hair! How the hell can you think buying me a beer will make it up to me?!" "Oh, Thats all?" Rain's gaze spoke of a painfull death upon his uttering of those words. "Um...I mean I'm dreadfully sorry you got Stokhli Spray net in your hair and I will do all I can to make it up to you. Like giving you a share of my portion of the payout on our next job." Seemingly appeased Rain continued to pick at the gooey material with annoyed determination. "So did you change your mind on visiting Booster?" Cale nodded as he resumed cleaning his blaster. "Yeah. We cant put the job off any longer. The Pirates are going to be arriving at the Reindevous soon and we cant risk another near successful hunter trap on the Errant Venture. In addition, I need to have a talk with Novara about his methods. He's being too damn sneaky for someone supposedly on my side and I don't like it. The Minute we hit Skull Base, we're raising the fleet to head out to Lameradd." "Fine." Rain said as she tugged at her hair. "Now the next big question is how are we going to get this junk off." Cale arched and eyebrow and picked up a vibro knife. He thumbed the device into life and it made an ominous hum. "How do you feel about crew cuts?"

(( stare ))
Novara left his men to their drinking and singing. As he paced the halls he thought about things to come... and what just happened.
' Red is dead... he would have reported if he had lived. Fool... i told him to slow down. We are not under Sith any more. Our fight is on the battle field. Not in cities.... les the need come. Well... not like ill miss the kid. To gun happy. Him and that droid of his. ' As he thought Jack walked up behind him.
" Master. I have finished the orders you gave me. The station is cloaked just out side the system. When you ask it will come back in. It and the rest of the fleet are waiting. "
" Thank you Jack. " The two walked back to the bridge. Walking in Blue stood waiting.
" I hear red might be dead... " Blue watched as Novara took his seat.
" Yes... what of it. " Novara watched Blue from behind his mask.
" Well.... he was ranked above me. As well as some others. We... I... wanted to know who gets his place? "Blue straitened up.
" Oh? Hrm. Well... Get the officers together. We will do this the old fashion way. " ****
In the lower decks. The officers all stood on the two sides of the room.
" Well.... it seems you all want Reds place. But you all must show me you can take it. None of you had the power to beat Red... But. Most of you can take each other. So... Jack here will be the ref. You will all fight. DONT kill each other... i need you. Strength and Honor. " With that Novara left to the bridge.

((Oh what are you frowning about? Im going forward with the job.)) Some time later, the Darksun Fleet emerged from hyperspace around the World of Lameradd. Cale stood on the bridge of the Heroine's Assault, clad in his black naval pirate uniform. Standing behind him was Rain in her Mando'ade Beskar. Despite the lack of expression on her helmed face, everyone on the bridge knew she was angry. Cale merely ignored it and scanned the area around the planet with his eyes, trying to spot the Dreg. "Now where the hell'd they go? Sensors?" "Checking Captain. We're reading a few low thermal signatures but they look like frieghter traffic." Cale looked out in that direction and frowned. "Could be cloaking. Someone might have passed by big enough to spook them into hiding. Try a focused thermal scan on that location."

As the fleet pulled in, Novara stood up.
" Now that... is a fleet. Send a comm. " Novara took off his helm.
" Cale. " Novara didnt say any thing more. He knew Red messed things up.
" I have the fleet waiting. "

"Sir, transmission from the Dreg." "Onscreen." Cale watched as Novara's face faded into view. Behind him, Rain could be heard muttering Di'kut. " Cale. " Novara began. "Thats Captain Darksun, Lord Mandalore. I dont think we're really on a first name basis quite yet. Lets at least try to look impressive and dignified infront of the underlings." Novara continued after a pause." I have the fleet waiting. " "Good. The Rest of the Pirates will be showing up within the week. I just wanted to come down and look things over. I know men of action hate waiting around." Cale adjusted his collar and looked Novara in the eye. "Lord Mandalore, I have some buisness to discuss with you about the upcoming mission and my personal concerns regarding your role in such. Being as this is a somewhat open channel, I feel the news I wish to discuss would be safer if I discussed it with you in person."

Novara clenched his fist behind his back.
" ..... Mind you. I am not... *Sigh* Were are you wanting this... meeting? Captain?"
The Dreg was passing the far side. Coming around it came into veiw of the Heroine's Assault.

"You are not what? Lord Mandalore?" He remarked. "Then what should I call you? Clan-leader Novara? General Novara? Give me a hint here." He riased his hand to forestall any reply on the last remark. "Nevermind. I'm sure we will find someway to address you when I pop over for a visit to the Dreg. I wish to see how my buisness associates manage their property. It helps me decide my personal view on them. Will this be a problem?"

Just befor Novara was going to answer Cale just kept going.
" Hrm. No. Ill have the deck cleared for your ship. Mind you... your Dalyc will have to stay on your ship. My men have not been around a Dalyc for a reason. They distract the troops. So leave her. Ill be waiting in my ready room. Commander Novara Tolm out. " As the comm was cut Novara uncleched his fist.
" Get the deck cleared and get the men out of the mess hall. The ones that have R&R... let them have it in their rooms. Get the others to their post. "
" Sir... Jack had us do that hours ago. " The helmsman reported.
" Hrmm.. i knew that bot would be of use. Send Cale to me when he lands. " Novara went into his room and made himself a drink. He stood by the window and watched the planet.

As the transmission Cut out, Cale blinked and turned to the now frighteningly quiet Rain. "Dalyc?" "He means woman Sir." She muttered darkly. Cale pondered that over in his head for a moment. "I suppose he's right. The Dreg is no place for a classy lady. Those Mandos would be stabbing and shooting each other left and right for a chance to paw at her, drooling at her every curve. I certainly cant take her over there!" He turned to one of his bridge officers and addressed him. "Call down to the Flight deck and have them prep a Katarn boarding Shuttle with a couple P-1's and a good pilot. And make sure that the Phoenix doesnt leave the Hangar. I don't want those thugs to lay a hand on her." He turned to Rain and motioned for the door. "C'mon Ops, we're going to pay Novara a visit." Rain seemed a tad confused by what he said. "But he said not to bring your woman sir." "Yeah. and she's staying safe and snug in the hangar. Now come on. I need a Mando translator." "I think they were talking about me sir." "Couldn't be. He said My woman, ergo refering to my beloved military spec starfighter. You're my Mandalorean Second in command, a valued staff officer and trusted aide. Just keep the helmit on, strap down your chest and the dumb barves wont be none the wiser." Beneath her helmit, Rain smiled. "Aye Captain."
The Shuttle departed for the Dreg thirty minutes later, carrying on it Cale, a pair of loaded out P-1's the shuttle's Duros pilot, and Rain in full Beskar. Cale looked about the shuttle's interior and frowned. "Y'know, remind me to have someone clean these things out. That pipe over there is dripping grease." "Aye sir. We're now on aproach with the Dreadnaught's landing bay."The Duros pilot called back. "Well thats good. I'm not a fan of sitting in the helpless passenger section of anything with engines."

The shuttle landed and the deck crew went to work. They scanned the hull and did all the checks. They landed right next to Novara StarViper. The deck crew was doing their checks on it. Guards were posted around it for when the new fleet came. Novara wanted no one near it.
Blue came walking up. He had won the fight for second in command. He waited as they came out. The whole ship was busy working. The ship was in good shape. Considering the hell she been through.
" Captian. " Blue bowed as they exited the craft.

Cale stepped out of the ship's airlock in his Officer's uniform, his Armorweave cape rustling as he walked. He was followed soon after by Rain, a Carbine in her hands as her visor swept the deck for threats. Cale met Blue's bow with a curt nod as he clasped his hands behind his back. "You must be Lord Mandalore's second. A pleasure to meet you." He motioned to Rain as she came up behind him. "My Operations Officer will be accompanying me to see him. I trust that will be satsifactory. I have a Duros and a pair of my custom battledroids who will remain with my shuttle and will stay there until I decide to depart."

Blue looked at the Operations Officer and then back to Cale.
" Ori'jate. Ke'sush!" The troops on the Deck came to attention as Blue lead them out. As they walked. All the troops watched the Operations Officer. In the back. Near the fighters the dack master laughed.
" Well would ya look at that Vod'ika. We got a Dalyc officer. I dont think Vonet will like this. She hates other Dalyc. " The young one in the pit popped up.
" Thats not a Dalyc. Thats a...." The deck master hit his Vod'ika in the head.
" Dont tell me i am wrong! Mir'osik!"

Hours had passed, and Mordranna grew weary. "First thing in the morning, I should like to procure transportation offworld. I imagine that Rekan wishes to return to Corellia," she stated. And, as would I, she also added mentally. Emotionally, she would have liked to have been at "home", which to her, was anywhere, so long as such were in Sami's arms. And, then, she would probably make way for Yavin, and prepare a report for Master Skywalker.
