"Oh?" Antony asked, shifting somewhat so that her tails curled back and blocked him as best she could.

"Go t'th'beach bar... fill a water bottle or t'ree up wit' vodka and bring 'em t'me in wit' a bunch o' regular water bottles? A' th'lake, leave 'em where I keep me chair- no one woul' know- they'd t'ink it was jes' t'help me breath," He hissed, "Please... please, do this fer me?" He glanced up at her, hairless brows raising as he began wheezing again, his tick returning again to say a quick hello and emphasize his point.

Antony remained quiet as he spoke, nodding slowly in understanding before relaxing her tails down away from the water. "Not now though. It'd be too suspicious..."

"O'course no'," He snorted, but still looked excited, "Sometime after... bu' as soon as y'can. I'm dyin' lass, I'm dyin'. I need somethin' an' I mean... it's wha' I do, aint it? I shoul' be able t'get around their damn security! I've smuggled much worse in much closer watched places!" He remembered to keep his voice down, wobblign slightly, "I jes' gotta'..." He smacked his mouth, clicking his beakish teeth as he sank back down for a few gulps of water.

A pained look of pity washed over her features as he returned to his nervous ramblings, but it soon left when she gave him an encouraging smile. "Don't worry... I'll keep helping you as much as I can."

"It was me job..." he murmured, eyes glazing over at the thought of the befor time. "Befor, I mean. When I was human, I mean. An' I was good at it, y'know. I was. Don' let me face fool ye, I'm a clever b*****d." It was as though he were trying to convince himself, not quite beliving that that person had once existed, nor still existed now, let alone was him. "Jes' a drink... I coul' use a drink so bad..."

"God I miss my jobs," she said abruptly, hoping to get the subject off of how much he wanted a drink. "I doubt they'd let me fix one of their cars or something, or give me one to just tinker with... ********' aye."

Billy was rocking slightly, rubbign the side of his face with a tentacle tip as his off kilter wheels slowly turned. "P-pills'd be easy t'palm... know anyone wit' pills?"

"I have birth control pills?" She offered, covering a hand over her muzzle in order to hide her smile, but she also made no effort to hide the amusement of that statement in her eyes.

Billy, so distracted by his oen-track mind missed the joke, shaking his head, "Can't get a buzz from birth control, can ye?"

Antony sighed, shoulders slumping and tails drooping as he continued to talk. Maybe he'd run out of steam and she could change the subject then?

"Tha' frost had pills- think anyone had any o' them left over? Know anythin' aboo' all tha'?" He slipped a tentacle tip around her wrist, pulling her hand towards his hcest.*

She shook her head from side to side in response, her gaze following his tentacle on her wrist curiously.

He suddenly pulled her in closer again to hear him through the sound of rushing water, "If y'coul' sneak cigs too... I know a place I coul' sneak 'em."

"We'll see," she stated firmly, giving him a look that pleaded with him, or rather flat out told him, that this topic of conversation was over. The point was punctuated with her turning off the water sharply. It had come dangerously close to overflowing anyways.
