[Starpelt nodded her head as she listened to her leader's words carefully.]"Well,I'm not sure if any other clan has found the cure yet.If we experience another attack from an animal with the Madness,we must keep it.Maybe we have to trace it spiritually like it's mind.Remember the squirrel? Someone must've controled its body or mind so we have to trace it somehow."she replied.

[Brightspirit sat down as she waited for Silverstar to emerge from her talk with Starpelt, she could tell that they were talking about something very important, and didn't want to interuppt them]
"Riverfang, what would you do if I became infected with the Madness?"
[It was an honest question. One he may have to know how to answer]
[He looked at her in alarm]
"Why? You're not going to get infected!"
"You never know, Riverfang. Anything could happen"
"Yes, but..you're not infected, so I don't need to answer that question right now"
[Brightspirit sighed and turned her attention back on waiting for Silverstar. Sometimes, Riverfang was such a wuss]

___________________________________________ [Silverstar nodded, deep in thought. She raised her head, her silver fur waving, making her seem like a StarClan cat. She gazed up toward the sky.]
"I wonder what StarClan is doing . . ." she murmured, almost to herself.
[Silverstar touched her tail tip to Starpelt's shoulder in a gesture of thanks.]
"Thank you, Starpelt. I will have all my warriors keep a lookout for any strange plants. Only StarClan knows what will happen."
[Silverstar backed out of the den, nodding to Moonkit respectfully. She turned and almost ran into Brightspirit.]
"Oh! I apologize, Brightspirit. I did not see you."
[Silverstar dipped her head in a welcome gesture. She cocked her head, seeing in Brightspirit's eyes that she wanted to speak with her.]

[Silverstar looked confused for a moment, then realized what Brightspirit had said.]
"Ah, yes. It is tonight, the full moon. If you wouldn't mind, please let Skyclaw, Snowfeather, Blossompaw, Dawnpaw, Hawkpaw, and Icestorm know that they are going. Also, you two are going, as part of StormClan."
[Silverstar left Firestorm out on purpose; she did not want a reoccurance of the last Gathering. She only hoped Ravenstar had the sense to not let Blackflame and Moonflower go, seeing as to what happened at the last Gathering. She thanked Brightspirit and then padded back into Starpelt's den. She spotted the medicine cat sorting herbs.]
"Starpelt? Sorry to disturb you again, but should Moonkit go to the Gathering as your apprentice? I can perform the apprentice ceremony right now, and then she will be a proper apprentice to the Clan. Tomorrow you two may go to the Moonpool to introduce Moonkit to StarClan. Is this alright?" _________________________________________

 (sorry i havent been online much. i will be online more often now. sorry again.)
SilverClaw heard that Cindermoon had just been apointed deputy. "No Way!" SilverClaw said. She bounded over to Cindermoon. "Congratulations!" she said giving a lick to cindermoon's ear. Silverclaw then bounded to hawkpaw. she pummeled into him, letting out a mrrrow of laughter with a mixture of purrs. "well hello, great apprentice." Silverclaw said as she got up and off of Hawkpaw. "so how did training go? learn any new fighting moves?" Silverclaw said.

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw purred gratefully at Firestorm. The flame-pelted warrior was always good to be around. Hawkpaw dipped his head in respect.]
“Thank you, Firestorm. I'll make sure to improve my--mmrrowr!!” [It was all the young tom could blurt out before Silverclaw barrelled him over. He went limp beneath her until the she-cat got off.] “Hey, Silverclaw! I sure did! Icestorm taught me a lot of different offense and defense moves. It was great!”
[He crouched and whipped his tail as he lashed out with one paw for Silverclaw's ears, batting them playfully.]

The dark gray she-cat's head stared at the ground as she was appointed the new deputy. She smelled Starpelt, Brightspirit, Riverfang, and Silverclaw come over and congratulate her. The blind she-cat nodded her head. "T-thank you," she mewed and padded over toward the sound of her leader's voice. With each pawstep thoughts ran through her mind. Was she ready for this? Could she really be deputy? What would the other clans think? Would they laugh at her and the clan/ After all she was blind, but she had proven herself. Although, she wondered, would that be enough? "Silverstar, I hate in intrude, but... well first thank you for making me your deputy, I'm very honored," she mewed with respect. "I was wondering if you wanted me to come along to the gathering with you. I know you didn't call my name but I see thta most often the deputies are there so... I was just wondering..." Her voice trailed off in the end, she hoped asking Silverstar didn't lead to looking stupid on her first day as deputy. Her sightless blue eyes gazed blankly at the silver she-cat.

"Of course, silly! It's customary for deputies to come to Gatherings. Let's eat while we still have time."
[Silverstar purred as she and Cindermoon went to the fresh-kill pile. Her intense green gaze swept the clearing. Many of the cats going to the Gathering were eating, and some were sharing tongues outside their den. She chuckled as she watched Hawkpaw being bowled over by Silverclaw. She finished her starling quickly, then began to give her fur a quick wash.] _________________________________________

Cindermoon smiled and padded after her leader. Was she really making a big deal out of nothing? She picked out a mouse and took a small bite. Although, the mouse tasted stale and dry instead of fresh and delious. She pushed it away from her. "I-I'm not hungrey," she mewed and began to lick her dark gray pelt. She smelled the other cats that were attending the gather, eating and grooming themselves. She sighed and gave her pelt a final lick.

___________________________________________ [Silverstar looked up anxiously at her old friend. Her green gaze searched the deputy's blue eyes, hoping to find a hint of what was going on. She shrugged and swiped a paw over her ear once more.]
"Cindermoon? Is everything okay? Please tell me if anything is going on. You're not just my deputy; you're my best friend."
[Silverstar realized how much emotion were behind her words. She realized she needed someone to lean on since Icefire's death. Her green eyes clouded with grief, and a low moan uttered from her throat. She closed her eyes and laid down a moment, her eyes flickering shut as tears welled up in her green eyes.]

Silverclaw purred. "thats good. so lets see what you got." Silverclaw crouched down swishing her tail. She was preparing to pounce. She shifted her weight from paw to paw. then she pounced. she swiped her paws at hawpaw's legs.

Cindermoon licked Silverstar's ear. Ever since Sunhope had died, Silverstar and Cindermoon had grown so close and then Icefire died. That was seemed ot be just the thing that made the two she-cats best friends. Her leader's friendship meant so much to the blind she-cat. "Nothing's wrong, I'm just nervous. That's all, Silverstar," the deputy mewed. She touched Silverstar's shoulder with her tail and smiled.
