 Michael CorneliusKirigakure | Weapons/Taijutsu Specialist | Konaga | Academy Student Michael sighed, his mind having gone blank in the past few moments. His idle position and forced patience had caused his mind to drift. Into what, he wasn't certain, since he only remembered the blackness that came with a dreamless sleep. There was nothing in his mind at the moment, save for actually getting promoted. It seemed that someone else had just waltzed in and taken theirs before him, which angered him to some degree. Had his presence really been that easy to ignore in his idle state? He coughed once before speaking up. "I don't suppose it would be possible for me to take the exam now...""[Chakra: 30/30]

Signing off on a few papers, Luo nodded to Tares as he looked over his sheets in approval. Collecting them together, Luo chuckled a bit as he listened to the girl speak, muttering to Tares as she did so, "The squads have already been picked. I just need a second pair of eyes to look over them." Looking back up towards the girl, Luo nodded his head at the completion of her first statement. "Well then, even still it seems I have something to offer you in that department. Although to be honest, I find that the summoning of weapons before attempting an ancient summon such as Manda or Gamabunta would better prepare you for how the act is done." Luo didn't outright say it, but it was hinted that he was actually one of the newer generations of legendary summoners, being the first to find the sharks since they helped in the great shinobi wars almost a century ago. Nodding at her suggestion Luo added to the end of it, "Well you'll be learning under the head hunter-nin soon so try and make the trip out to water country short. I'll tell him to retrieve you from the Demascus hous later."
As Luo opened his mouth to speak, all that he managed out was "Mi---..." before he was interrupted by the cough of the same man whom he was about to call, followed by a few words. Sighing Luo motioned for him to come to the front, his mood having been slightly altered. As Michael walked down to the front of the room Luo muttered, "These exams are not given on a first come first serve basis Michael, I hope that you realize this. I do however thank you for whatever patience you may have shown in waiting."

Uchiha Bloodline| Mist ANBU Captain| Jonin Commander|Bloody Mist  The clone of LT walked up escorting little emily trying to keep in conversation with her. "What? you dont like my coffee? Im appalled!" LT chuckled, he knew deep down that not every one had their own taste for coffee. On his way into the building he saw the real original LT walking on his way out. Both of them gave each other a high five and continued on walking, the original stopped and waited for Sayuri outside. The clone of LT turned toward Emily, "I think your sannin and jounin are upstairs so you can head that way and meet them there. It was a pleasure young miss. Take care of your self." With that the clone gave a short bow/ nod towards the girl and headed into the exam room, noticing Michael was there. LT walked around the edge of the room as and ANBU agent jump down from the ceiling and replaced the cup of water located on the stole. "Ok Michael first things first." LT nodded toward the clone of the Mizukage as he took seat at the right hand of the Mizukage at the grading table. LT slid another manilla folder in front of him and opened it, giving it a read through and flipping the page then pulling a pen out. He jotted a few notes down before answering Michael who was awaiting her exam. "Before we begin, tell us why you want to become a Mist shinobi, what is your purpose here, and what do you hope to achieve. After that we will began with your exam."

Reaching the exit eventually, he found Emily outside the tower and approached her. "Sorry about keeping you waiting. Let us be off to the gates and return to Iwa" He said as he headed slowly towards the gates, going slowly for Emily to keep up with him.

Why did he want to become a mist shinobi? To put it simply, was it only for his desire to kill when he could? To use his unique abilities to their full potential? He wasn't quite sure, but he'd give the best answer that he could. "Why do I want to become a mist shinobi? To put it plainly, simply because I don't want to waste the abilities of my clan. So few of us survive childhood, much less birth, so not doing anything would be like a slap in the face. Of course, I could just settle down, but that's not my style." He said, pausing again to consider the next question. It wouldn't be that difficult to answer. "My purpose here is to become one of the strongest shinobi ever to live, to make my clan more known, and possibly feared. What I hope to achieve, is happiness."[Chakra: 30/30]

Emily gigled about the not likeing coffee.It wasnt her favorite thing to drink but the taste was starting to get to her.She bowed and waved to LT as he left before she could say goodbye and ask him to say goodbye for her to Kari.Seeing Zaiaku Sensei her face lightend with joy and followed behind him quickly heading to the gate's. LT raised an eyebrow as it seemed more and more academy students were afraid to tell their superiors just really how bad their trigger fingers itched, how much they were looking for a fight. But these students were too hard headed and thought themselves ever so powerful just like Sayuri. As if death couldnt touch them. LT didnt want to crush any egos but these young shinobi will find out soon enough just how real death and loss could be. LT perform his usual speak for the test taker. "The glass in front of you is all you will need for this exam", LT sighed heavily as he made another note of the paper before finishing. "So let's get through this as quickly as you can. Perform the water manipulation technique on the water in the glass in order to first freeze, then melt it. Then use the water mirror technique to read the inverted words on the board behind you out loud. ((Demon of the Mist)) Finally, perform the water clone technique and demonstrate your knowledge of the Sword Style. You may begin at any time you want if there are no questions." LT sighed and leaned back in his chair as he continued to watch the student perform.

Michael CorneliusKirigakure | Weapons/Taijutsu Specialist | Konaga | Academy Student Michael gave Tares a look of subtle confusion. Had the man forgotten what he had trained him in at the lake? He didn't know suiton jutsu, only raiton. Even then it wouldn't be any good other to shatter the glass before him. Truly the man was either bored, or troubled, since a mistake among shinobi was rarely made. "Forgive me if I avoid the jutsu portion of your test, as I don't know suiton jutsu as your other studets." He said, his strangely pink eyes looking over to Tares. Did he really forget what Michael's element was? With a light shake of his head he cast away the though, reaching down to draw his sword so that he may demonstrate what he had learned. To his disappointment, he was newly reminded of the damage is had recieved early. Slowly, he sheathed it once more. "Is there a blade that I may borrow?" The man asked, using learned 'smooth' speech.[Chakra: 30/30]

LT pulled the paper from the vanilla folder he was writing in and he placed it in on the desk top as he searched through the stack of folders for Michaels, finally finding the one correctly labeled. "Im sorry lets try this once more."LT put the approprite sheet into the correct folder before begining again. "You are going to preform 3 raiton jutsu's starting with the flickering light techniqie then there will be a crumpled piece of foil placed infront of you on the stool, using your static strings you must figure out how to use this foil in order to read the words on the rafters like before. Finally you will make a clone and show us what you learned in your sword style. Any questions this time? And whats wrong with your weapon?" With that LT leaned forward in his chair and drew his own katana which his tossed gently to the student. "You may begin when your ready." ((wow, spell check here sucks))

"You'll never understand me..." xxxxShyly, with a pale pink blush creeping up into her cheeks, Sayuri reached out for Tares’ hand, interlacing her fingers with his. Her mind flickered between euphoria at having passed her test, and a jittery kind of excitement, straying back to the thought of the headband in her pocket. Breaking into a sprint, Sayuri pulled Tares along behind her out of Luo’s office, out of the towering pillar that stood in the heart of the village. She was trembling with a combination of euphoria and adrenaline, and figured that it would be a good idea to run in order to burn off the extra pent up energy. Knowing that her sword waited just outside of the village, Sayuri pushed herself up to her top speed, heading towards Water Country and the Demascus House.

It didnt bother LT in the least bit because he knew this day was not about him, it was about her. She just began a genin, the first step to achieving the dream that she wanted. And now it was time for her to go get her reward for the hard work she put in. Before he was dragged away, LT made another clone that slowly went into town to check security. Exit toward gates

As a clone bubbled forth from Luo's position, it was because Mrs. Kanai had arrived with some pressing news, motioning for the man to leave. Being unable to personally (or as next to personal as Luo could get) oversee Michael's exam, Luo walked out with a smile as his clone was left, motioning for Fordon to follow him to his office as he took the papers from the frigid old woman, figuring Fordon had much to tell him about what had transpired in his absence.

Fordon followed on his lords heels. He was curious to see where they were headed to. seeing his lord was busy with a few papers Fordon did not speak yet. Truthfully Fordon was glad to be away from the examinations. while they were interesting and he did his best to stay busy Fordon felt that he didn't belong in that room. he had nothing really to put in on that matter. LT was the teacher for those kids on the most part. Fordon had only filled in for a little bit when LT was not around. Now that they were away from the exams Fordon had somethings on his mind to talk to the Mizukage about. the girls that had gone to the Ushio house for starters and the fact that Mai had made them food. There was also the issue with Fordons training of students. Then there was matter Fordon had been looking into...

From an open window, a white bird flies into the room and lands on Luo's desk. But it wasn't a regular bird, it was an origami bird. This unusual style of communication could only mean that the creature was sent by Shaoran. The bird suddenly unfolds itself and reveals a written message.
Mizukage-sama,
I have left to travel to Iwagakure. I wanted to retrieve a copy of some doton jutsu scrolls so that I can teach some of the techniques to the academy doton users, as well as further my studies with my second element.
My trip will be short and I will be back in time to return to teaching.
