Suzette smiled and saw the look in Alexis's eye. She then knew what she meant and got embarrassed. It was pretty obvious that she wanted to check up on Aaron. She heard the door open and saw Daisuke had entered. Just about when she was going to greet him, Suzette heard the same footsteps again. She glanced at the tiny window in the door and saw nothing.
This sounds suspicious
"I'm just going to get something to drink", she walked out of the room in a rush and looked around.
It must be my imagina- Suzette's train of thought stopped when someone grabbed her shoulder.
"WAH!", she screamed and toppled over. Her gaze shifted to whoever did that, and it was a woman in a cloak.

Alice heard Suzette's scream and put her plots against her cousin aside for a moment to poke here head out the door. this looks interesting thought Alice she didn't say anything though she was trying to stop butting into her friends lives so much.

"Yes, thanks", Suzette replied to Daisuke.
"Well that's a nice way to greet your mother", the woman said while removing the hood of your cloak.
"My....my.....mother?.......", Suzette trailed off. She remembered that in the body count during the Ishbal War, her mother's body was never found. Kareena Barnes, who was an alchemic master, surely would have escaped death.
"How can I trust you?", Suzette asked, while back away.
"Well, I was hoping you'd ask that", the woman shuffled through one of her many pockets. She got a picture and showed it to Suzette. It was a picture of Suzette when she was five years old. Hovering over her were her parents, William and Kareena.
"I guess this wasn't the most heartfelt meeting.....", Kareena said. Suzette just stared blankly at her, she couldn't say anything.

((Seriously, when does this take place? Cause if it was in the ishbalan war, how do they play modern day songs, & electric guitars & stuff? o_O))

Alexis clutched the edges of the bed, sitting forward. She could hear what was going on in the walls, and she hated how she couldn't help. She couldn't do anything like this!

Alice strolled out the door to get a good look at the women "hello!" she shouted waving though she was only a few feet away. "oh Alie!" she said to her self remembering her friend stuck in the bed. she ran back in "may i transmute your bed into a weal chair?" she asked Ali

((I dunno >.< But, I remember that in the anime, the technology is a bit more advanced than it the real world. ))
The woman looked back at Daisuke.
"So I guess you made some friends," Kareena said. "But, it's not my place to say anything. You must have felt abandoned when we left, you must feel even more horrible now since I came back. Correct?", she added.
"N-No! It's not that!", Suzette exclaimed. She couldn't fit all the pieces together.
"Why would you come now? Why didn't you come before?", she asked.
"There are several reasons why, Suzette", Kareena responded. "It took many months for the refugees to successfully escape the military's grasp. Not to mention, I got badly hurt during the war", she removed her clock and pulled up her sleeve to reveal a big puckered scar on her arm.
Suzette just stood motionless, not saying a word.

((XD Just automail really... radios & stuff looked pretty much the same... besides, that wouldn't exactly explain the music, since most of the beginnings of rock haven't even started yet... Oh well... Back to the lab again! X3))
Daisuke nodded, & pretended to understand what was going on. He looked around & noticed Alexis. He walked in before the women showed her battle scars & asked Alexis how she was feeling.

"No, Alice," she said. She looked at Daisuke. "I'm fine. What's going on?"

"Are you intending to stay here for the next four years?", Kareena asked Suzette.
"Yes....", she responded. Kareena sighed and put her hands behind her head.
"How's your aunt Jiselle?", she asked another question. "I came here first, so I couldn't get in contact with her", she added.
"Fine....", Suzette said.
"You're not much of a talker anymore", she said. "I remember you used to chatter all the time when you were young", a smile appeared one her face, but then quickly vanished.
"Are you going to stay here mother?", Suzette asked.
"I don't know, I just want to catch up on all the things I missed out with my daughter. It's selfish, but I just want to", Kareena said. The hall went silent.
"I don't have a problem if you do", Suzette said, while walking into Alexis's room.
"Sorry about that, it was....just some personal matters", Suzette said to Daisuke and Alice.

Alexis arched an eyebrow at Suzette as she walked in. She decided it was best not to pry and sat up a bit more. She winced at the pain in her side and quickly laid back.
