Lin had sensed him behind her for awhile. When his mist encompassed her, though, her buzzing sound that she made while flying grew much faster and pronounced. His darkness was all around her, seeping into her! This was not good! She had to get out!
With all of her might, she zoomed even faster past the mist until she was on the coast. Because she was so angry, she was able to transform back to her human form with ease. Although, she barely noticed her accomplishment. Her eyes were flashing and her body was shaking with rage as she waited for Dymetri to show up.

If Dymetri had been human, he would have laughed so hard. He dispersed and continued to follow right behind her. As she touched ground, so did he. But still in his air form. He was like a puddle around her feet. So when he regained his solid form, He ended up rising from underneath her. She ended up sitting on his shoulders on top of him while he stood. She weighed nothing to him, of course. Super strength could help you with that. "Does this mean it's a tie?" he asked with a grin, looking up at her. He noticed her trembling and spun while holding her, but instead he was holding her knees and she was in front of him. He let her slide down his body, just because he didn't want her to just jump off. That wouldn't be much fun. He ended up looking down at her, his hair framing his smooth face as he smirked.

Lin was furious in the beginning. How dare he not only mock her by staying in his mist form when they were on the ground but also by forming under her! She was on his shoulders now! How improper!
And then he slid her down his body. She was so caught of guard that her anger quickly gave way to shock. Her heart was beating very quickly and her blood was pumping quickly through her body. She had NEVER been this close to a man. Her body was sliding down against his. She could feel every edge of the front of his body.
When she looked up and saw the confident smirk on his face, though, her anger returned with a fury and her eyes flashed again. "How dare you... You were mocking me before, getting your darkness all over me, and then you... you... you form so that we're so close to each other that it is beyond improper!"
Her cheeks were actually flushed, which was quite uncommon for an elf. She did not pull away, though.

He smiled and placed a finger on her lips, shutting them with a small spell. "Calm down, Lin." He raised his hands on her body so that they were on her shoulders. He softly nudged them downward and softly massaged them. "You need to calm down and learn to laugh." He slid an arm around her shoulders and began to walk with her by his side. "Starbucks isn't that far away, when you take a sip, it needs to be small at first. Don't take huge gulps, because I know you'll want to." He noticed his uneven steps and prayed that Lin wouldn't, just for the fact that he didn't want her to ask questions. One step was shorter than the other. His body tilted one way more than the other. As if he was permanently injured on one leg somehow. But he'd be damned if he was going to let her know that her kind attacked him many years ago when he didn't even do anything wrong.

Lin was shocked at how she immediately became quiet, not wanting to utter a word for awhile.
She simply turned with him in the direction, she assumed, of the Starbucks. She nodded at what he said, although not quite understanding. Why would she want to take big gulps? That was entirely improper and unladylike.
She did notice his limp. Elves had impeccable senses. But she would not ask him about it. It was very rude. And she could also sense that he was not comfortable talking about it. After all, he was walking in a way to try and hide it.
And he had his arm around her shoulders. She had seen a couple girls back at her school walk with visiting males this way, and she knew that they were their boyfriends, but she didn't know what purpose it served. She made no move to remove his arm.
Once they were in front of the building, she looked up at it and tilted her head slightly. "That's it? It's so small." Huh. She had her speech ability back.

"So are tattoo parlors, but the effect they have on the world is tremendous. Or at least, it was." he said, sharing a bit of information. He opened the door for her and walked inside after her. They walked up to the cash register where a woman seeming to be in college had her hair pulled back in a bun, no makeup, a green apron and a black visor on. He smiled at her and she seemed to smile back. "Hello, sir. Is there anything I can do for you?" she asked very slowly. He sensed a double meaning in those words. "I'd like two Java Chips, please. One tall and one venti." he said, pulling out a credit card from his pocket. The woman took the card and charged it, giving Dymetri a receipt and turning away to place the chocolate chunks and ice into the two cups. After blending the necessary ingredients, she poured the solution into both cups and slid it over to Dym, whom grabbed both with one hand. "The smaller one is yours." he said to Lin, offering it to her. He led her to a secluded table that had a cushioned semi-circle couch as the seats. He slid in first, giving Lin the seat next to the window. He took a sip out of the cool, chocolatey, caffeinated drink. "How do you like it?"

"Fine, Mr. Enlil. Have it your way." The charge immediately dispersed as he released his finger from the trigger. He hoisted the enormous gun sideways, and with a good grip in each hand, bent it into a horseshoe shape. "We'll do things the old fashioned way." He removed his trench coat, revealing a frail and withered old body. As he turned to one of the soldiers, Ialo noticed a number of metallic plugs in his back. They seemed almost infected in the way the skin was red around them; in the very least, they were irritating this man's body. The solider handed him a series of tubes that were hanging from the ceiling. Seconds later and they were inserted into the plugs and began to fill with a harsh purple liquid. "Do you know what fear is, Mr. Enlil? If not, you're in for a cruel lesson." Then he noticed it. The man's body was becoming more toned, less frail. Second by second he was adding muscle mass to his withered old body. A minute or so later, and he looked as though he could smash Ialo's skull with a flick of his finger.

Lin immediately fell in love with the couch as she sat down in it. Her eyes actually closed and she sunk back into it. "Oh my word this couch... It's incredible. I don't think I've ever felt so comfortable."
There was also a scent in the air that was surprisingly calming. She liked the smell.
She opened her eyes and looked at the small cup Dymetri was giving her. She took it slowly. It was quite chilled in her hands. She liked it. "Thank you, Mr.... Dymetri. Although, I do believe you ordered chips. That lady did not give them to you."
She gave him a rare small smile and then sipped at the coffee. Her eyes immediately widened and she pulled back. It... was... incredible! It tasted so good! They rarely were treated to chocolate at school, and this had an interesting, incredible taste added to it. And the chill of it perked her up even more.
Even though it was very unladylike, she put her lips to the drink again and started drinking much more of it. She had forgotten about Dymetri's warning.

((lalala what to do what to do...))
Athena sighed as she boredly half-listened to the lecture her mother was giving her over the phone about not calling the night before. Of course, Asia would randomly start yelling something like 'PUT THAT DOWN!' or 'NO FIRE IN THE LIVING ROOM!' or something along those lines, but Athena knew she was talking to one of her brothers (or maybe Aphrodite, but not likely). So Athena just stared at the drawings on the lined paper in front of her. They were all of half-demons like her... And they all looked nice, friendly, even innocent.
None of them were bad... and slowly, she was getting over what Lin had said about demons being evil... She was both sad and happy that the other girl hadn't yet returned to their dorm. When she did, she'd apologize, not that she really could think of anything to apologize for. She just felt that she needed to.

He smiled and almost giggled as he continued taking sips of his Java Chip. He lowered his eyes as he heard his first name and began watching her taste the drink. He proceeded to do a face palm when he noticed she was taking huge gulps out of her Java Chip. He reached over and pulled the straw away from her lips. He set her drink down at the table. "If you've never experienced a brain-freeze, then it's going to come at you in a few seconds. It's going to last a while. Don't fight it. Once it fades, take SMALL SIPS." he repeated, lifting two fingers that were extremely close to each other to enhance the meaning of 'small sips'. He smirked and shook his head. "What you're drinking is the called 'Java Chip'." He clarified. "Not actual chips, haha." he said, laughing. He smiled at her, for an uptight nerd, she was actually pretty adorable. And she was also a student. ... Like he cared. The register woman came to the table with a needy look on her face. "Is there anything more that you need, sir?" she said, making it obvious that there was a double meaning to that sentence. The woman seemed to avoid eye contact with Lin, pretending that she wasn't there. Dymetri continued to look at Lin, not even bothering to use words as he lifted a finger to her and shook it in a negative manner. The woman frowned and walked away. After she was out of earshot, Dymetri leaned closer to Lin. "Your eyes are almost a blue topaz.." he said softly, tilting his head. "They're nice. There's a bit of emerald in them too. But it's slowly fading away.." he continued, still analyzing. He chuckled. "The green is gone."

The laughter ceased, but was soon replaced with the occasional chuckle from the dragon, despite the events before him. There was a nasty glint to Ialo's eyes, almost a reddish tint. He took a step back, putting a little difference between him and the man who had obviously overdosed on steroids.
"Been hanging with the horses, much?" Ialo jeered. God, he was scared. But another look at Horus in the tank was all he needed. Alphonse would probably kill him for what Ialo was about to do next. And besides, hadn't the dragon faced worse and lived? Granted, there were others around to save his a** back then...
Ialo's right hand and upper arm suddenly felt as they were on fire as a dark and evil mark began to spread. A short obsidian sword materialized in his hand, and Ialo shifted his weight, ready to attack.
"I'll make the last of your life a living hell, just like what you've done to them."

His voice was deep now, and gravelly, almost like a death-metal singer. "They were never truly alive to begin with." He reached to one of the scrapped piles of metal. Ripping two massive chunks off, he bent them around his wrist; giving him a pair of jagged metal slabs jutting from his arms. As he did this, every soldier in the room raised their weaponry towards Ialo. With a guttural roar, he swung a massive jagged fist towards him.

Lin didn't know why, but she was scowling at the woman that had come over to them. Obviously they had just sat down and didn't need help already. That could not really be the reason she was over here. She was looking at Dymetri in an odd way, almost like she wanted to attack him, but not in a violent way. It was odd... and for some reason, Lin hated it. it created an odd, unpleasant feeling in her stomach.
She was about to ask Dymetri about it when his words brought her attention back to him. She was surprised that he was very close to her again. And he had noticed her eyes... and so well. He noticed all the details about them. He was paying that much attention to her? But why? She thought that vampires only focused on themselves and finding their next victim. Just attack and eat. But he seemed... different. Dang this coffee was going to her head. This entire environment was making her so relaxed.
She then found herself leaning forward toward Dymetri. She didn't know why, what she wanted, but it was like her body had a mind of its own. They were already close, so it didn't take long for her face to be very close to his.
At the last moment, though, Lin felt a huge, painful tug at her temples and her eyes screwed shut as she threw her head down and gripped her head in pain. "Ow!"
