Troden immediately looked up, his eyes darkening slightly before walking around, his aura matching Fiora comepletely now, "Do you think I care about that the great Lord Dorien and Master Lotan?" he asked, an evil look upon his face, "That is nothing as long as the Leaders that are still asleep stay that way!." his eyes suddenly flashed before he sent a large part of his fire powers into Fiora's column. Suddenly the fire was too much for even Troden, who was thrown backwards. The fire was far too hot, as if Fiora was fighting to be free until suddenly the fire stopped and crystallized into a muilti-faceted gemstone. As if on cue, the water itself began to spiral violently, freezing and liquifying constantly until it exploded into ice crystals, becoming nothing but water droplets.

The temperature, which was at first fluxuating from burning to freezing was just unbearably cold. The water soon came together to reveal a very confused water elemental, the frown on his face clearly shown even when his whole body was translucent, "What...just happened?"

[Oooh....this is going to be messy... twisted ]

Dorien had to cover his eyes and even back away from the entrance as Troden commited the act of suicide, for the fool was already dead in his eyes. He knew even without looking that it was Nadare who was standing there even before the temperature changed. He knew that Fiora, the only one who he considered and actually friend was trapped within her own power. And he knew that he would kill Troden slowly for that.

Troden... he muttered, a growl in his throat, You're going to die a very creative death. he shot forward, his eyes dead set upon his prey.

Emit sighed, rubbing the sides of his arms as a sudden chill fell into the air, Fiora... he thought with a sigh, I am sorry.

Lotan moved to Nadare. "At least we weren't too late for you. With the other nine, we may yet be able to do something... though even I'm not certain what... Can you help us with these betrayers, or do you need to recover from your rest?"

Troden barely was able to stand up before he was slammed against the wall by Dorien's speed alone. Even though he felt this pain, a smirk was still on his face for he was able to stop atleast one Leader from Awakening, and in his blind hatred, that was satisfying enough.

Nadare was silent as he listened, the frown worsening, "I am tired, but what do you mean by 'what happened to Fiora'?" he replied, his form slowly becoming more human. His skin was actually blue and his hair turned white. A rather odd look for a humaniod form, but it was the easiest one he could think of at the moment. He was disoriented and tired, a look which clearly shown in his almost elflike appearance.

He took one look around and saw Fiora's crystalline form and his anger immerdiately rose. His pale blue eyes slowly moved over to the red-headed form of Trodem before his fists tightened, "Was he the only one?"

Dorien looked into Troden eyes, as he held Troden against that walll, his free hand carrying his infamous blades, You truly are a fool. So you will die a fool's death! the blade raised and would have penned the Rajen Leader to wall through his stomach, but Emit's hand stopped him. His grip was as hard as stone and so was the resolve upon his face, Dorien. That is enough. He is not yours to kill.

Dorien growled once more before moving away, his displeasure clear to all, Emit... he began, but only ended in fading away quickly.

Emit sighed, dropping the sword before grabbing Troden by the neck and walking him over to the others, Lotan, he is yours.

Lotan took Trodan from Emit. He held him around the throat and lifted him off his feet. Without speaking, he drew back his shield arm, striking Trodan hard across the temple with Luna, throwing Trodan from his own grasp. He grabbed him by the front of his shirt again an lifted him high. "What now Trodan? How far do the mighty fall?"

With such a blow as that, most would have died on impact, but Troden was merely knocked out and had no way of answering that question. He was practically a doll in Lotan's hands...that is until a miracle decided to come his way.

The gentle sound of a child's humming could faintly beheard in Troden's blank mind as well as Isabelle's before they both materialized almos tout of thin air and reappeared infront of a small child whose green eyes were filled with glee, "I'm glad that small spell worked," she muttered as three children dressed in green held Troden's limp body up, "With so much power in one area, I feared that you both had long since been destroyed." she then gestured for Isabelle to follow, "Don't worry my dear girl, your man will be fine." she then began to move down a dark hall, "I shall heal him myself. You may call my Tyrshida."

Nadare, looked at all of the for a moment before returning the frozen spiral now known as Fiora, "What is to happen now?"

Lotan turned away from where Trodan had vanished. A secret rage burned within his eyes and his voice. "Another day perhaps. It seems Trodan still has a part yet to play in this tale."

[I consider Troden lucky as hell at this moment in time. Really luxky...]

Emit wasn't exactly expecting this, but he didn't show it. He merely sighed before moving to Lotan's side, We should get Nadare down from here and rest. All of us will need it when Ashra and the others arrive. Especially Ashra. he grimaced at the thought.

"Agreed, let's go." Lotan continued to stare ahead at nothing.

Nadare turned to the others and finally walking towards the others, "Lotan, you will have your chance to destroy him. We all will make sure of that." he murmured, placing a cool hand upon his shoulder.

"Thank you Nadare. I elect we move to the base of the Lotus group. From there we can assess the best way to go about reversing what Trodan has done to Fiora." Nadare's cool touch had for the moment at least, calmed Lotan's fury.

Emit nodded, before they all went to the Lotus base, which was very busy preparing for the all of the Leader's arrivals. Lina herself was just finishing coming from the shrine, a look of sadness flitting through her face when they came in, "I felt it in the air..." she replied, bowing low before gesturing towards the hall, "Should I take you to your rooms?"

Emit nodded to her gratefully, That would be much appreciated. Lina nodded and then moved down the hall.

Two grey eyes slowly opened as others were settling in for the night, the body a mere shadow in the silver light of the moon as it sat up, surrounded by ten statues, each one the image a Leader most actively used so long ago, but it was the sound of one statue that had caused those grey eyes to turn as Fioea's statue suddenly cracked, a sickening sound that reminded one of brooken bones. It had only cracked, and thankfully didn't break, but it was enough to send the shadow ddashing towards the symbol of Moneko holding a small child, checking to find any cracks or any sign of something mroe omnious. There were none.

A sigh echoed throughout the cavernous room as the shadow finally revealed itself as a young looking woman, one of silver hair and a pale complesion, almost like and elf minus the ears and with those eyes, which held an almost feral look to them, no one would really tell of her race...except another lycan of course.

"My Lord Ashra..." she murmured, her soft voice filled with relief, "You are safe...for now." the call began to run forward soon after, her form shifting from human to a wolf, one as pale as the moon before leaving the room, a glorious howl filling the air.

Remus had stayed put in the training room. He had to work off the tension. After he'd heard the news from Lina of Fiora's failed awakening, he began to worry. This was the first time they'd been beaten to the leaders.

--

Lotan rested peacefully in his room, although he stirred once or twice as the power of another lycan began to slowly reveal itself.

And hopefully it would be the last time. Lina herself was conversing with Emit, who had decided to get something to eat. About that very subject. He unlike the others was not that tired, and with all of the forces of nature slowly repairing itself, he would be able to sleep easy until the damage was gone.

"How do you think Triden even managed to open the portal with his power and Isabelle's alone?" Lina asked as Emit began to make some tea, "He isn't that stong of a fireuser."

You should know, am I right? Emit asked, turning towards her, Gaea told me many thing reguarding the collaspe of the vampiric nations and even more about the apprentices we left behind to watch over this world. You and Troden in particular.

Lina nodded, her face solemn and cold as it used to be, "Yes, I do know, but that was a long time ago. I was a fool then, but I am not one now."

Does your husband know how truly foolish you were? Emit asked, slowing taking the tea pot and pouring them both a hot cup, Does he know how you helped create the very organization that Troden controls? And does he know the reason why Troden even has his very own Book of the Ten?

Lina's face was shadowed by her hair as she listened, her grip upon the cup tightening until it shattered with her hands, the hot liquid instantly cooled by her ice powers. Does he know anything at all?

"No," Lina answered, her broawn gaze downcast, "But why should I tell him now? It is all in the past."

Sometimes your past will show itself in the future, no matter how hard you try to hide it. there was a small hint of foreshadowing in his voice as he said this, but whether Lina heard it or not she did say. She merely nodded and moved towards the training room.

--

Meanwhile, the soft, yet deadly movements of the white wolf were barely heard as she ran towards Signet, her slender form moving faster as the presence of the Leaders surrounded her, giving her an extra burst of speed. Was Ashra Awakened? It was the only thought in her mind as she came closer, mildly surprise that there was no human traggic coming in and out of the city until she began to look at the city itself. The buildings were enormous and made of a strange substance that she couldn't identifying and the road was rank with the burning smell of yet another substance she couldn't identify.

The wolf slowly transformed back into that young women, her nose wrinkling in disgust, "Is this truly the Signet the Ten left to us?" she murmured, keeping herself in the shadows, "Time has not been kind this great city at all..."
