Another flinch came from the elf as he began to turn, starting to walk back before he closed his eyes tightly. Damn it all, he wanted to go back and beg the man to keep him close like what he had done before but he wasn’t sure that it was going to get the response that he needed. Taking in a breath, he shook his head before he began to walk off to wherever it was that he was going, slow, barely able to force himself to do so. “F-Fine, Monty… I… I’ll try not to bother you.” The words were practically carried on the wind, heartbreak in his voice but he refused to hunch over and lose himself again. He had done so too many times for this one man and maybe it really was for the best just to forget him and go home; if he was able.

Ignoring the elf's last words, the demon picked up his pace and headed straight to the cottage he was staying in until further notice. Right now he had to think of a place to live until he can recover fully and then start a new life somewhere. Someplace farther away from the elves, from Area 6 and from Kalore's haunting voice of pain.

No matter what his thoughts were, Kalore continued to walk. He was able to make it back to the town but with no money on him, it would be difficult for him to get anything; added to how different his clothes and possessions were… he didn’t want to be noticed. So, he went around the village, ignoring everything as he stuck to the trees and the places that he was familiar with. What had he been thinking, coming here? There wasn’t anything for him and Monty, not with the pasts that both had and with what it was that they both did in order to run from their pasts. It hurt to think like that, but Kalore needed to hate Monty and then he needed to forget about him. It was for the best… wasn’t it?

~A few months later~

A few months passed and things have been long forgotten about what the previous leader of Area had done and all those involved. Of course that's how it was supposed to be when there were more important matters that would deal with the economy and the power struggles with the city. It was something that is expected. It was also the right time to come back from the dead. Well, at least one of those who supposedly died could come back. Which he did.

Monty had come back a month before having moved from an undisclosed city in another part of the world to find his feet and rebuild, restore himself from the ground up. It was something that he did, even though at the very back of his mind Kalore's memory lurked. It wasn't that he didn't try to forget the elf, he tried his damned hardest, it was just that the elf branded himself there.

No, no he couldn't, wouldn't think about the elf right now. Not after moving back to the suburbs of Area 6 where he purchased acres upon acres of land to not only prevent developments from killing the trees to build more houses as in it's own way he was helping to conserve it, but he was having another home built deep in the wilderness of it, aside from his new house that he had built.

The demon held on to his walking stick that was made of the finest cherrywood with a ebony handle carves elegantly as he watched the movers bring in his new furniture. The demon had the walking stick because he had a limp that was slowly leaving but not fast enough. Plus he looked good with it so he held it until he had to stop using it. Sighing some the demon spoke to the man there to make sure that everything goes into the right place from which he layed out. Going back to his limo that he rented, the demon ordered his driver to take him to the mall.

The only thing that Monty didn't have with him was clothes and if he was to live here again he needed alot of nice clothes and start living life all over again. It didn't take long as the driver took him to a new mall that was two stories with alot of stores and a large food court. Monty was dropped off at the front, earning alot of curious gazes of who this man was in the limo and walked to enter the place.

It was crowded but thankfully the people here had the right sense to get out of his way while walking down one direction to find a store that would sell well made suits for him and then find a place that would give him alternative clothing.

“I’m not planning on going… Yes, I know…” A soft sigh came from the blonde as he shook his head, keeping the phone to his ear, “I know, Kit… Yes, we’ll be there in a few hours. I know, but Cyprien wanted clothes and why not?” Leaning against the window of one of the stores, green eyes closed in annoyance as his friend just continued to talk. “Look, we’ll be there in a few hours. Yes, I know Joker doesn’t want us to be out too late… Don’t worry, dad, we’ll be fine… Yes, tell him that for me. Yeah, thanks.” The phone was clicked off as he rolled his eyes, ignoring the chuckle of the brunette beside him. “Just go get your clothes…” The man laughed as Kalore soon was walking in the opposite direction, moving to go into one of the fancier stores. He needed some new suits, something for the meetings that Rave and Dusk kept putting him in. Annoying brats.

In the few months that Kalore had been back, he had been yelled at, screamed at, hugged, kissed, and shoved back into life without much time to get used to things. He didn’t like it. Without anyone there for a while reminding him to do anything, his weight had gone down to the point that he was nothing more than a beautiful skeleton, only depending on the clothes was if he had a body that could be held or not. However, that didn’t bother him. He had trained harder than anyone else around, making his impossible speed faster, his skills with a bow sharper, and his tracking even more perfect. Other than the fact that he was now thinner, the only other difference was the lack of energy in his eyes.

And his hair cropped to his shoulders.

As he reached out for a suit, not bothering with the tags, the man’s ears were more noticeable now that his hair was so short, but he wasn’t the only elf around, though there were only a few of them. Now that there was peace between the nations, more elves from Harl and sometimes Haven or even Dark Haven were beginning to come over; for the most part it was done by people being assigned to go out to show that there was an effort being made… but at least they were trying. Kalore didn’t care, however, as he ignored the stares. It wasn’t his weight or even the ears that caught people’s attention. Kalore was just stunning, even malnourished and without any real attempts to get the attention. He hadn’t looked his best since being with Monty. No… No, he wouldn’t think about that. He couldn’t even attempt to think about the demon. He had someone else now… someone else that wouldn’t push him away like the redhead had done.

Entering a store with all these fancy suits, the demon walked through examining the clothing that was offered with a critical eye. One of the representatives there walked over to him offering assistants as Monty was taken around the store asking the man different questions about the quality of clothes they sold. It was obvious that they had some of the best he'd seen in a long while but still, he wanted to give the man a hard time.

The representative passed by Kalore with a soft excuse me and walked a few paces to where the long sleeved dress shirts that were with patterns, pulled some out for Monty's inspection. The demon himself passed by Kalore, slightly brushing against him with a harsh excuse me as he didn't recognized the elf. Standing with his back to the elf, he examined the red and white striped shirt, looking at it with a haughty expression.

AS someone brushed against him, Kalore sighed and just stepped forward again, his eyes unseeing but as he heard the man speak… his head shot up, his eyes widening. That was impossible. Turning slightly, he frowned as his eyes went to the redhead behind him. It could have been someone else, someone else that had amazing hair and a tall frame… but he was sure that it wasn’t anyone else. Placing a lock of hair behind his ear, still not used to the cropped cut, he spoke softly, “Monty…?” He blinked, not too sure that he was even audible as he muttered something in elvish, almost an ‘I can’t believe it’, before repeating his name again. “Monty?”
PostPosted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 5:19 pm

Monty didn't hear his name the first time, obviously since it was soft and he was discussing the pattern with the representative but the second time his name was uttered, the demon stop. No, he froze on the spot at the voice of a past he wanted to forget, of a man he wanted to banish from his mind. Turning his head around slightly to eye the man in question he narrowed his eyes. Well it was an elf, one of many he had been seeing around the mall. Yet this one was...Was that Kalore?

Narrowing his gaze on the man he looked arrogant, cold and completely untouchable like he always did. "What?" Never one to learn how to give a proper greeting the demon stayed the way he was, commanding the representative to wait with a wave of his hand to see if this was truly the elf or someone who learned from Kalore who to look for so that he can be taken out.

Watching the man for a moment, Kalore’s arms dropped as surprise almost showed in his eyes, but even seeing him… it was hard for him to actually do much other than just stare for a moment. As Monty actually turned, however, he now knew that it was truly him. It hurt, actually, to see him but there wasn’t anything that he could say for a moment, other than a surprised breath escaping. However, he had gotten the other’s attention and now he needed to at least be polite. It was impossible to not stare, though, when he hadn’t seen the man for a while. “It’s… been a long time, Monty… a few months, right?” Kalore blinked, his voice the one thing that proved who it was; the tambour of it original, the musical lilt only done by one man without it seeming ridiculous. “I didn’t… I thought you weren’t coming here.”
PostPosted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 5:31 pm

Monty kept his gaze rooted on Kalore's face. Noting the differences that affected it but either way it didn't take away from the natural beauty that was always there in Kalore. Of course despite not giving a most pleasant greeting, he was polite enough to keep this short and sweet by participating in the conversation and then hopefully cutting it off. "Yes. Quite a while." The demon tilted his head to the side slightly. "Somethings change...People change and it's only best to follow suit, don't you agree?"

Kalore nodded slowly, sighing some, “I… I do ag-“ “Kalore!” Blinking as his name was called, solidifying who he was, the man turned to greet another man, another elf. The elf was built much like Kalore used to be built, a lean body, but he was broader than the other, a grin splitting his face. He was cute, not breathtaking, but handsome, attractive, and with nice brown hair that was normal; the total opposite of Monty. “Did you get what you needed?” The brunette nodded as he leaned over, gently pressing a kiss to Kalore’s cheek, the grin never fading, “Yup. Got you something too.” He winked but then glanced over in the direction of the redhead, looking confused. “Oh… someone you know, Kal?” The blonde had froze when Cyprien had kissed his cheek, but it was supposed to be normal… then again, he still hadn’t let him do anything other than kiss his cheek… shame.

“Yes… Yes, it’s someone I know.” He sighed softly, his hand falling and Cyprien immediately taking it into his own warm hold. Really, he was a cute kid… “Cyprien, this is Monty. Monty, this is… this is Cyprien.” The new boyfriend. He didn’t say it, but Cyprien made it obvious as he continued to grin, happy to have the beautiful blonde on his arm and near him, though it wasn’t like Kalore was the one that was hanging on arms or anything like that. The brunette continued to smile at Monty, but there was something about the other… wait, hadn’t they said something about his ex being a redhead? Looking over the other, t he smile almost faltered but he gently placed a lock of Kalore’s cropped hair behind his ear, focusing once more on the beauty beside him. “Did you find what you needed, Kal?” Kalore sighed softly, shaking his head, “Not… Not quite yet…” He looked up at Monty, gently touching Cyprien’s hand to get him to back off for a moment. “Are you staying back in town, Monty?”

The demon froze as another elf, another man elf to be perfectly exact which wasn't necessary really. For the moment, Monty looked over this other man, Cyprien? What kind of name was that? Of course it was expected that elves have some odd names but it went with this unremarkable looking male. Then again if Kalore listened to what he wanted, which was to find another male better than him since thats what it looked like, Kalore succeeded in finding someone else who was normal.

Narrowing his eyes some more, the demon turned a bit more, showing his cane to let Cyprien take in his full height and size that was obviously alot bigger than both Kalore and Cyprien put together. The demon ignored that introductions since the dark haired male didn't seem to respond to it but his eyes went to Kalore, those red eyes cold. "I don't think that's any of your business. After all, you should worry more about your mate keeping at his side before someone else decides to kidnap you and make you into a most enjoyable toy."

Arrogantly turning away, he spoke with the representative about the shirts there, not caring that those words will cut the blonde deeply. Nothing could be deeper than his stupid emotions feeling rage and pain at the sight of another male touching Kalore.

Freezing as well, Kalore wasn’t too sure on what to say as a look of pain crossed his features. The man would really… why would he bring that up? Swaying some, he leaned back as the reminder of just what it was that had happened went through him fast and he looked down, whispering, “He… He isn’t even a mate…” Muttering the words, he almost didn’t notice Cyprien’s twitch.

“Hey!” Walking up to the much larger man, he glared at him, tempted to shove him but elves were more dignified than annoying wretches like some redheaded b*****d. “Just what are you trying to do? He was being nice to you and you’re being some b*****d. What the hell, man?” He heard Kalore sighing, a hand gently pressed on his shoulder. “Forget him, Cyprien…” But the brunette wasn’t easily distracted. Kalore wasn’t the most kind person around, he didn’t think, but he sure as hell didn’t deserve to be treated like this. And what was the thing about the kidnapping? Was the guy threatening him? Kalore hadn’t told Cyprien a thing about his past other than being related to some people when asked but… it wasn’t like he would hide that from him… right?
PostPosted: Thu Jul 21, 2011 6:39 pm

Monty turned around slowly and raises a brow at Cyprien, smirking in a not so nice way as he leaned close. Lifting his hand, the demon trailed a finger from up the elf's throat to his chin. "I suggest you never forget that I'm a b*****d, elf. If you know what's good for you, you will listen to the blonde elf and forget about me. Lest I become one of your worst nightmares." Which was definitely possible. Looking at the representative he ordered the man to give him what he had wanted and to ring it up and ready to be taken to his limo.

"The next time I come here sir, I suggest you have a code to not let annoying children enter here without their parents." Monty looked at the corner of his eye at the two elves, the representative paling and shuffling away to get his job done. "Until never, Kalore." With that he started to walk away with his cane, looking like some evil, elegant lord in his dark suit, cane and red long hair. No doubt he was a demonic prince.

Kalore didn’t move as Cyprien immediately started to chat and complain about the demon. What exactly was Monty thinking? He had told him to move on! He hadn’t wanted to, but… it was something that Kit had set up, but it hadn’t really been for a serious thing. She had just wanted him t o get out but the boy was persistent and there they were. It had only been a month or two that they had been together, but if anything he was a little ticked that he’d threaten Cyprien. Taking in a breath, Kalore’s long legs carried him to Monty quickly as his leg shot out, bringing the other’s legs out from under him, the cane in his hand as he put it to his neck, eyes narrowed. “I did what you told me to do, Monty… Don’t you dare threaten someone that I have with me, got it?” his words were ice, but the elf could take only so much of this.

Shaking his head, he handed the demon the cane back, still no emotion on his face, “it has been good seeing you, Monty. But don’t threaten what’s mine.” He smirked some, the look cold, “And he’s not my mate. My mate wouldn’t care if I was kidnapped and taken again… he’s too busy stuck in the time when it happened to him.” Words spoken softly, he turned on his heel, grabbed his bags, and walked out the store.
