((Uh, Grye, Chase can't talk right now, remember? Miroku put a sutra on Jack that prevents Chase from talking that'll wear off in three hours. I put thinking in italics and talking in bold for a reason.))
Jack stayed where he was, curled up into a tight ball. He was still exhausted (both mentally and physically), and now he was also hurt, scared, and confused. Chase was simply surprised at Jack's "comrade's" reaction. The boy had simply been sleep talking, no one could control that. Spicer would probably be terrified to go back to sleep, now...

Kikyo shot an arrow that barely kept rom scratching Ranma's nose and got stuck in the wall of the cave. "I said NO FIGHTING! Lay another finger on Jack or start a fight with Nina and you will get an arrow to the head."
