"The last time we spoke was the last time all of us spoke to each other. I've been in a deep slumber for months." Monty looked at Kalore with a calm expression. "Whatever this is, as you refer to, is the only means for us to survive and for everyone else to survive. But no, we don't communicate with each other once we 'die off' because it makes the whole thing pointless. You only told me that Gambler died off not how. Tell me everything." He said, looking at the elf with some curiousity.

A soft sigh came from him as he stopped, watching him for a moment. He didn’t have any reason to not tell him anything and it wasn’t like Monty probably expected Gambler to do something like this. If one of them died off them surely the others would follow; save for Kyoshi, something that he was thankful for. If Kalore lost it that badly, he didn’t want to know what Dusk would do if she lost her lover of nearly two years. Sighing again, he began to tell him everything that had happened and what all led up to the explosion, something t hat had aired on television after the laws had been made and heard only in the elvish nations. He paused at the end, watching Monty for a moment; speaking no words as he let it all sink in.

Monty blinked and let all that sink in, going through that information quickly. Bringing his hand over his mouth, he covered the amused expression that was forming and the sudden laughter he was holding back inside but it was obvious from his shoulders twitching. "Gambler did all that? I think she out did herself this time around." The demon started to walk again, controlling his laughter even if it was hard to do. "I didn't think she would do that. I mean she knew that about preventing anyone from coming to my funeral since I'm cautious about you elves and your abilities...."
That earned Kalore another pointed look, referring to the ability to track and feel emotions from objects. "However her in a car blowing up? That's rich. I was honestly thinking she would want to go out in a blaze of bullets from the top of a skyscraper." Which was definitely more of Gambler's style if anyone thought about it. "It's a pity Rave has to suffer over something that was planned out. He should have known they couldn't last forever..." He said, in a not so nice way still showing he doesn't like Rave...still.

He shouldn’t have been as angry as he was, but as Monty laughed at the situation, Kalore froze. Eyes narrowed, he grit his teeth before looking down, taking in another breath. He had to calm down and he couldn’t be angry; he and Monty had just gotten back together and talking. Kalore couldn’t ruin it now. However, listening to the thing about Rave set off the blonde as he snapped at him, “We all know what your damn rule was on me not showing up, Monty! It’s because of that that Joker was sent away.” He took in another breath, his teeth nearly cracking as he continued to grit his teeth.
“And all of us know that being with any of you can’t last forever, Monty. You all live forever, apparently you’re unable to die; we don’t last forever. What Gambler did…” He shook his head, glaring daggers at the other. He needed to calm down but… Everyone knew that Rave and Monty didn’t get along, but damn it all, he could be more sympathetic!

Monty snarled at Kalore grabbing his neck. "What happened to Joker was for his safety and to finally get him to be with Kit already. As for what she did....Do you honestly hold that grudge? What if somehow, some way she ended up coming back? Are you all going to kill her?" He towered over the elf and glared at him. "We can die Kalore. Sin and other rogues are proof of that. If anything whoever killed Sin is a good enough reason to get away from them. Far, far, far away from them." Which was a mystery to him since he didn't know that little bit of information.

As his neck was grabbed, Kalore instantly snarled at the other, “Will you control yourself?!” He hated his neck being touched… the scars were almost fresh to him as he felt the other almost choking him, the blonde’s hands immediately on him. However, he still snapped at him, “We’re not going to kill her! In fact, most of them were fine with her being there because of how much she’s helped before all this crap happened.” Growling at him, Kalore almost yelled but then blinked at him, his anger beginning to fade just a bit. Monty didn’t know who killed Sin? Kalore thought for sure that everyone knew how that b*****d died… Trying to pry the other’s hands off his neck, the elf frowned at him, glaring some, “Rave’s the one that killed Sin, Monty. He was pissed at what the man had done to Gambler and to everyone and let his temper get the better of him. I don’t think there’s anything left of that b*****d.”

The demon let go of the elf, pushing him back and had the look of shock on his face. "Rave did what?" An elf killed an old seraphim? That elf killed one of the first? Monty narrowed his gaze on Kalore. "You lie. No being below an angel or demon could kill someone as old as him." Besides, from what he did know was that Gambler sacrificed herself for the others to have a chance to kill him, as a group with all those metals that was shot into him, but not one single person.
Not the Shadow King. Looking away the demon started to think on that yet he pushed it aside. "So you willingly condemn her for acting like the tyrant just to cover for me and for her? You would openly spite and scorn her for doing what we had always done with your narrowed minds?" He growled at him, glaring. "This is a mistake. You will leave from here and I will stay because having to put up with that ignorant view and not accept that things for us have to be different no matter how simple I can explain it wouldn't be worth anything. You will leave and if you think that I'm going to stay here waiting for you to be an idiot to come back, your wrong." With that the demon turned around and started to walk back to his cottage. "Where ever Gambler is, no doubt it's better than having to be with people like you."

Rubbing his neck, he flinched some as he felt some of his sore spots in more pain. “I’m not lying, Monty. None of us even knew what kind of guy this Sin was because we were only told that he was a powerful Seraphim and that he was incredibly bad. That’s all you all told us.” The fact that Rave killed him had freaked everyone out, but shadows can do a lot of things. Being pushed away from Monty again, however, brought panic into the other’s eyes. He wasn’t losing him, not this quickly.
Moving fast, Kalore held the other’s arm, shaking his head. “Damn it, Monty! I don’t like what you’ve done, but I told you that I accepted it! If that’s what Gambler did and she caused all of that because of this... No, I don’t like it. It’s not my place to condemn anyone, but I will speak my mind about it like you speak your mind about our ways. They’re no better.” He frowned at him, not letting go of Monty’s arm. “I’m the one that held the grudge against her, yes. I probably will for a while, even when I know her reasons, but damn it, Monty, I was kept away from the person that I lov-… liked… and it pissed me off.” He was speaking fast. That was too close… the demon wouldn’t like to hear about what it was that he felt for this man, not right now. Now just wasn’t the right time… Was it?

The demon snarled at Kalore, trying to shake him off Kalore. "Obviously your deaf when I told her to do so. I ordered her to prevent you from coming should anything happen during those months we were away!" He snapped, getting angry. "The damn heathen isn't as cold hearted as me to not give a damn what happens to people. If anything, she forced herself to act the uncaring leader for our sakes." He pulled at Kalore's hair roughly to add to getting him off.
"Leave me alone Kalore..." He said, feeling the anger drain out of him. "It's too soon to even see you. Just...Just go away." The demon started to move away regardless if Kalore was hanging on him. Maybe it was too soon to go back. After all everyone was still feeling raw about these things even if they happened months ago....Still, it wasn't his time to resurface yet.

Shaking his head again, Kalore closed his eyes tightly as the words came too fast for him to stop, “I don’t want to lose you again, damnitt! I just got you back and I freaking lov- I can’t let you go again!” He opened his eyes, watching him carefully as he tried to hide his mess up, again. “Then we won’t go back… You didn’t want to see everyone anyway and… and it would make sense not to yet… I told you that I was the only one mad and I have my reasons just like you have yours… I’ll try to forget about it, to forgive everything, but damn it, Monty… “ He watched him, not caring if he pulled his hair or anything like that. It was getting harder to ignore what he felt and he wished to the Goddess that he didn’t feel a damn thing for Monty, that he could just stay numb, but Kalore couldn’t do it. He whispered the three words, speaking in elvish so that he wouldn’t understand them. Just saying them made him feel better, even if Monty probably wouldn’t care.

Monty growled and pried Kalore off his arm and pushed him away. "You don't get it! Get the f*ck away from me! You would do anything just to keep something only because you want to feel better yet you don't give a damn about what the other person wants!" He snarled, rage coming off him in waves as he stared down the elf like a animal ready to spring into action and attack. "Leave me alone Kalore. I don't want to see you for a while and even then I hope that you can honestly know the meaning of forgiving. I've had three milleniums to learn it. Now go home and stay there!" He said, pointing in the direction they were supposed to be going.

Falling back, Kalore let himself fall to the ground as he stayed there, not saying anything for a while. He closed his eyes, taking in a breath. “Maybe… maybe you’re right…” Whispering that, he looked up at him, still speaking softly, “I thought that we were doing what you wanted as well after last night… You didn’t want me to leave and I didn’t want to leave either… Was that a one time thing, Monty?”
For memories, as the kiss had been? He didn’t want that to be the case because of how attached he had gotten to the other but Kalore didn’t know what it was that Monty even wanted anymore. He needed to get to a place to where he could heal and get back on his feet in order to do whatever it was that he wanted to do; hell, he needed to figure out what he wanted to do. The fact that conversations about Gambler had ruined it only made him hate the woman that much more. Yes, she had followed the demon’s instructions, but she was on her own with how Rave, Kyoshi, and Dusk were treated.

Monty looked at Kalore, everything on his face turning into a stony expression. "It was the last time." With that, he turned around and started to walk away from the elf, needing to keep his distance and not do things without properly thinking it through and being distracted by elves. Especially when he didn't know what the hell to do after accomplishing this death thing.

He didn’t move, closing his eyes as he spoke, “Then let me at least help you figure out what you’re going to do, Monty.” Pain was in his voice but Kalore finally stood up, brushing himself off slowly. He needed to do something to make sure that he didn’t go after the other. Now he wasn’t sure that he’d be able to stop tracking down the demon, however, not after knowing that he was actually alive. “Don’t tell me where you want to go, but let me at least help you get to somewhere that you can do something.” He watched the other, his expression as close to blank as it could get. “Then… Then I’ll leave you alone. I’m sorry for following you, Monty. I… I’m selfish, I know but…” He shook his head. “Let me at least help you know what you’re going to do so that you’re not trapped here.”

Monty snarled at him, looking over his shoulder at Kalore. "I don't need your help nor do I want it. I can do things on my own very well and without you distracting me. Begone from me elf. I never want to see you again for as long as I live." The demon picked up his pace, starting to limp from how rough he was being. Right now he needed to figure things out on his own and having someone help him and find a place for him to go was like inviting the devil into your house.
