Even if they weren’t the words that everyone dreamed of hearing, the demon apologizing was up there in surprises. Eyes widening some, he touched the man’s hand before smiling softly at him. “You’re forgiven, Monty.” He knew better than to say that the other didn’t have anything to apologize for because both knew that that wasn’t the truth; but Kalore did know that he had forgiven Monty the moment they went back into the cottage. Was he still angry? A little, yes… but the man held grudges longer than he should, this much he knew. He would remain angry at the other, but that wouldn’t stop him from forgiving him as he kissed the place above his heart softly, nodding some. “You’re forgiven.”

Monty growled in disbelief. "You should give me more hell than that." Since he was offering he might even not try to fight back if the elf wanted to beat him down. Hell he would hope that the elf would do that so he could know the extend of what he had selfishly done to Kalore.

Sighing softly, Kalore shook his head. “Monty… I was able to give you the worst tasting medicine for three weeks, along with kick you around and almost re-break your leg… I’m pretty sure that I’m good for now.” He grinned some. “Unless… you’d like me to break a few bones? I mean, if you really insist, I’m sure I can dig up some pent up anger from somewhere…” But he didn’t want to. Sighing some, he soon kissed his nose, speaking again, “Also… I think that I just enjoy this too much… I wasn’t lying when I said I missed this and to take a break from this comfort just to get angry again, I really don’t want that.”

The man tilted his head to the side to get a better look at Kalore. "I only did things with you in mind, hoping to move aside a chance for you to find peace. Without th constant threats of my enemies." He said, Monty caressing his arm gently.

Kissing his cheek softly, Kalore nodded. “I know… You told me that and I do understand what you were trying to do. But…” He shook his head, enjoying the caresses as he sighed some, snuggling comfortably on the larger man’s chest. “I like being with you… your enemies can kiss my a**. So far they haven’t won and I don’t plan on letting them win.” He closed his eyes, comfortable, before opening one eye to watch him. “Plus… I’ve got one big enemy left… I don’t think he’s exactly deadly or anything, but I’ll take Sin back before we have to deal with him…” It would come, though, when Kalore had to face Kristopher. He just really didn’t want to.

Nodding, the demon looked at Kalore thoughtfully. "I can't go back to area after this Kalore. I can't go without my comrade and even then it would be years, maybe decades or centuries before we could return to the city." Otherwise, they are going to piss off alot of people whether they had wanted to or not.

Biting his lip some, the man watched him before sighing softly, “Then… Then where are you going?” He didn’t want to sound pathetic or anything, but Kalore had just gotten Monty back; he couldn’t lose him. The man knew that he had to go back to Ellwood sooner or later, preferably later, but that didn’t stop the fact that he didn’t think Monty was going to want to be surrounded by elves. Gambler didn’t have a high opinion of elves and it seemed before that Monty didn’t either… if that was acting or that was real, he didn’t know, but Kalore was curious on where it was that the demon was planning on going.

Monty blinked and looked up at the ceiling. "I don't know. I could always go to the Pit and torture a few souls. After that I can come visit you somewhere...." Which didn't sound promising since there was nothing being done with Kalore. The demon touched his elf's hair lightly. "I'm not welcome in your lands....I could always find a place close by?"

Leaning into the touch, the man frowned some. He had a point, actually… Dusk was livid with Monty, even dead, but… “I think that Kit and Joker would like to see you again, though… and Kyoshi.” He closed his eyes, smiling just a little bit. He really did love to feel people playing with his hair; well, people he liked. “Joker’s living with Kit now. They actually got a house together. I’m sure they’d love to see you too.” Touching the man’s hand, he smiled a bit. “And… you could um… stay with me until you knew where you wanted to go, Monty.” Watching him, Kalore bit his lip softly, his eyes showing careful thoughts. He didn’t want Monty to leave. “I live in Dark Haven so things typically are fine there… and I’m sure that you’d be welcomed there… Even if it’s just temporary, or maybe not temporary…?”

Monty cupped the back of Kalore's head lightly and brought him close until he was nose to nose with the elf. "I can't go to see Joker and Kit. I can see Kyoshi but by now...He might have figured it out and wouldn't want to say anything about it. It's something that no one would understand since it's a system we had devised. You might think it selfish but it's the only way to truly survive in this world. For us at least." The demon kissed his nose. "I'll....I'll stay with you until I can find another place if that pleases you." Either way Monty liked being with Kalore but was hesitant about it because he didn't want to fight no more. Maybe he was truly stupid and wanting something he could have.

Slight confusion was in the other’s eyes as he looked up at him. “I… I understand why you don’t want to be seen, Monty. I really do, and I don’t like it but it makes sense in a way… but why can’t Joker at least see you?” He stayed on the other’s chest, feeling almost like a child in comparison to Monty; but he almost was. Sighing softly, he wrapped his arms around him, biting his lip softly, “You can stay with me. No one goes in my house anyway and it’s not like there’s anyone there that’s going to suspect anything… Plus…” He thought about that, soon nodding some. “If anything, you can use my family’s home if you ever wanted to um… get away.” Kalore didn’t want the man to get away from him, but he still didn’t want to lose him because Monty didn’t have options. “But we don’t have to leave for a while. I like this, just being here.”

The demon nodded and still looked at the elf. "I...I don't want to be away from you. It's exhausting to coddle you and treat you as if you can't handle yourself." The demon wrapped his arms around Kalore and held him tightly against him. "With your permission...Could we start over?" Which was a good start for Monty to open up again without the annoyances of Eri hanging around. There was alot more breathing space now to made build something stronger.

With surprise on his face, Kalore hugged the man tightly, shocked that he would recommend something like this but… “Yes.” Kissing his chin, Kalore nodded. “I think that starting over would be the best. Only…” He smiled some, “No trying to roast me in an elevator to start completely over… alright?” he gently stroked the other’s hair, kissing him gently. To start over, to not have Lech or Eri hanging over their heads… it was the best. “I’ll start over at any point that you want to, Monty. You just need to tell me.” As long as he was able to keep the man close to him… he was sure that starting over was the best option for them.

Monty nodded and kissed the elf on his forehead. Yet what he did next was not surprising for the demon but surprising for the situation. The demon turned Kalore to his back and nuzzled his cheek. "Hello. My names Monty and I'm going to ravish you right on the spot before our first and second date." It sounded like the funniest thing if he wasn't so serious about it.

Yelping as they were turned and the man was soon on his back, Kalore almost laughed at the other’s words. “Hello, Monty. My name’s Kalore and I’ll be glad to be ravished before our first or second date.” A slow grin appeared on his features as he touched the other’s hands, keeping him close as he stole a kiss. Why couldn’t that have been how they first started out? Short, sweet, to the point… and quite nice, actually. But soon it was nice enough to induce a time skip because the two couldn’t keep their hands off one another…
