Kain thought about it for a moment. Technology certainly wasn't one of his strong points. Then again, this little one was quite grating on the nerves... "We shall see, young one," he replied, noncommittally. "I will keep an eye on you during battles, in case there's truly behind your claims." Shouldn't be too hard keeping the kid from getting killed...

"It means, if you fail to uphold your end, you will quite possibly be in a good deal of danger," the vampire replied. Hopefully the barely veiled threat would calm him, at least a little.

Little Jack stared for a moment at the vampire. This wasn't exactly the sort of reaction he had expected. Maybe it would have been better if he had asked the vampire if he could be his apprentice instead of his evil partner. "Um..." he began insecurelly. "Wh-what if you teach me some of your evil skils? Maybe then..."

Oomizu could feel the tension and swiftly made her move. She walked up behind Jack and put a hand on his shoulder and grinned kindly. "How about instead you learn to fight with a sword? After all, King here's got a sword. Perhaps when you lear how to fight with one, you can build yourself an awesome sword? After all, my dad's just going to end up teaching you when you're older any ways."

The younger albino looked at Oomizu. "Thanks..." he said shortly turning again to the vampire lord. Little Jack wouldn't mind what he would learn first or whatever. The only thing that counted was to be on the side of someone who reminded him of home. And as paradox as it was, someone who gave him the feeling to be in safety.

Oomizu got upsetwhen youger Jck just turned his back on her. This was getting annoying. She was trying to be nice, but at this rate... She then came to a conclusion, he needed some one who reminded him of home. Maybe if she tried talking to him the same way Chase had... After all, if she was able to get Chase's minions to do as she said, surely she could pull off a Chase-like attitude. She looked around and found soething close to what she used as a practice sword and went to it. She nodded before saying "Hey, Jack. Catch." She tossed it to him with a serious expression, not waiting for a response and just expecting him to react, just like Chase would have. She gripped her own staff and got in a fighting stance.

Little Jack turned around surprised as Oomizu tossed him a sword like object. He catched it with a sudden reaction. What had happened? She seemed to act differently compared to how she acted since they knew each other.

Oomizu smirked slightly, almost mirroring the way Chase smirked. That certainly got younger Jack's attention. So that was the key to getting this Jack to warm up to her. She she adjusted her stance a little and said "Look, if you want to be of use to King, then you need to at least learn to be of help to the group. Sure, you can build robots, but you won't always have that available. Starting now, you're going to learn how to fight with a sword. Now, see the stance I'm in? Copy it now." She made sure that the last part was a demand rather than a request. After all, Chase would never request some one to do something he wanted them to do.
Pirogoeth nodded at what he said. "I have no particular request. I am just hungry. Anything will due."
