If my life involved Dee in any way it would be incredibly depressing.

That answered my question.
It's the one where they fine you if you don't have insurance but made no mention of what the benefits are. At least according to that vague and pointless article that spent 4 pages making references to 'a century long battle'.

In Canada we pay more taxes and get more services. That's pretty much how we get health care.

If enacted, the reconciliation bill combined with the Senate-passed bill would, from 2010-2019:
-Spend $938 billion on expanding insurance coverage, including $464 billion in subsidies to help uninsured people buy coverage.
-Expand Medicaid coverage to 16 million additional people.
-Require many employers to offer coverage for their workers.
-Collect $69 billion in penalties from uninsured individuals and employers for non-coverage.
-Provide coverage through an insurance exchange to 24 million people.
-Reduce the number of uninsured by 32 million people, but leave 23 million (including illegal immigrants) not covered.
-Cut Medicare spending by $455 billion from currently-projected levels.
-Not affect next month’s scheduled 21 percent cut in payment rates to doctors who treat Medicare patients.
-Produce a net reduction in federal deficits of $143 billion.

Here you go Josh. The actual bill. It's the better one out of the options they passed. Which isn't saying much, but it could be worse. And Ed, you have free health care anyways. =P

Joseph Brown That's pretty much how we get health care. I'd still opt to buy my own insurance package if I didn't like the one they gave me enough to spend money on it. But considering I've been using the dirt-cheap basic coverage plan and haven't been sick in the last 18 months... the only thing it does for me is cover annual checkups. If I even bother to go annually.

Funding figures, irrelevant to my interests.Gives me an idea of what's going on.This is contradictory.lolwutHaHA!All in all, that didn't help to actually tell me what is going to happen. It tells me "more people will get Medicaid, less will get Medicare, and we'll fine you for not having insurance but also give you money so that you can afford insurance while fining your employers if they don't give you insurance and we'll offer you a trade for insurance."
