Karrot dug is feet deep into the sand until it smothered his ankles. After a few moments of concentration, the areas from which the darkness creeped suddenly began to glow so brightly gold that a small dark shadow could be faintly seen at the center of his torso. His eyes opened, shining beams of light, illuminating Merlin. When he spoke, the voice that spoke through him gave off the feeling of being Ancient and powerful beyond comprehension.
"Soo, youu haave caalled upoon uss againnn, whaat doo youu assk of uuss?"

The voice vibrated up her spin making her still a moment, "A thousand pardons O Earth Older than Time. I cannot thank you enough for assisting me I do believe that I will not be a fitting master for your child here but I do have a suggestion for a more fitting master. He is the one you helped me awaken, the one called Emit."

the light faded from Karrot's eyes as the darkness slowly returned, but the presence of such a powerful force lessened the flow of the black mist so that it dispersed soon after seeping out.

Not missing a beat, "I'm lady Merlin." She didn't address his other comment though she found it interesting, guess she was going to have to get a new door on her own. It wasn't too much trouble, though, "I'd love to hear your music when you have time. This is my place." She indicated the club, my office is on the second floor, it's quieter there."
