Devil-Steel
Dai the Man Slayer
Devil-Steel
The demons hands were still smoking from the blast as he looked around finding all that was left from the blast was the rut in the ground from the blast. He say no sign of the man that he had just been fighting, had he actually killed the Slayer? If he had maybe that would mean that Dai would show himself since his grandson had just been vaporized.

((Don't know how it would be god modding if you couldn't get outta the way. I'm actually surprised that you didn't get outta the way. I think that is a definitive win for me in our long standing history.))

((Last post of sealing if you aren't dead. My next post will be the first post of HEP))

{{ Yeah, how was I supposed to block a 30 meter blast? Well it's a last resort trick that he can only do once. I don't know...just let me know what you think...it walks a fine line between god-hood and plausible. XD As if anything we're doing is plausible...but still, it's a cross between his dark chi/energy absorption abilities.}}

Kells--or an astral projection of Kells--floated cross-legged in a dark and eerily silent limbo of his own making. Well, that solved it; he couldn't absorb the chaos energy. It had effectively broken his physical body down to molecular level. The only thing that had saved him was that damn suit since it had taken 90% of the blast. His grandfather had warned him about this guy and about the technique he was about to employ to effectively "resurrect" himself. He'd have to return home to have his mother make him a new body.

No time to really think about it, he had to return to the fight so that the guy wouldn't think he'd won. He slowly began to collect all the stray fragments of energy leftover from the blast. When he had shaped himself a suitable "body"--as tangible as a stream of sunlight, bright yellow and as restless as a brushfire--he reached out to tear a hole between his personal limbo and the real world. It was like digging out of a grave, blindfolded.

Out in the semi-sunlight and under the ominous umbrella of his opponent's magic-blocking barrier, Kells had to concentrate on keeping his new pure energy body together. It stretched and flickered like a distorted television picture. Thus far, he hadn't really hurt the guy and he was a little disturbed that it had come to this last resort already. Over what? Some rivalry he wasn't even apart of?

"Alright," he said, and the word came out a double-voiced echo. He had one last tactic: super-sized Kells. He stopped trying to control his body; it wanted to expand and he let it. Letting the sunlight and the energies he could absorb feed it, he grew. And grew. And grew again, until he was almost four stories tall, looking down at his now puny opponent, still a flickering personification of greased lightning. If he had teeth, a smile would have split up his face from ear to ear. He let out a raging, primal, double echo howl: there wasn't a lot of sunlight to take advantage of. But this would do. He swung a massive arm at the man. With nothing physical like muscles to slow him down, it was a very fast and heavy swing.

As the man seemed to come back from the dead the demon would just curse. He had a few tricks that the demon had never seen from Dai himself. As Kells swung, Baldr knew that he wouldn't be able to get out of the way of an arm as large as that one was. But to his surprise he would pass through the arm unharmed. Looking back up at the boy he would let out a laugh as all of his steel disappeared into thin air. "Seems like you haven't thought that move through as well as you thought you had." Slowly the demon would begin walking towards the barrier that was made of the same chaos energy that had destroyed Kells. "HELL'S ENERGY PRISON DISMISS!" The barrier around the two would quickly dissipate into the air allowing both of them the freedom to leave the area they had fought in. "When you see your grandfather, tell him G says hi." With that said the demon would slowly begin to blow away as steel dust in the wind.

((Sorry it took me so long to post back man. At least now you can move on with what you were gonna do. XD ))

((Reposting this for Dai.))

A General? This certainly was interesting. Light was looking forward to this.

"..............."

The half-angel made no moves to remove himself from the growing dome of vines but would simply stand his ground as his eyes scanned the plants in front of him. Not many chose to harness the power of the earth itself...Mother Nature was a powerful force to contend with. As Light figured, this man, Quetzalcoatl was strong. Although Light didn't need to glance up to know the General was there. The first move, Light would make would be to push up his shades with his right hand before moving it up and over his shoulder to grip the hilt of his weapon. Light's weapon was still concealed aside from the hilt but the half-angel wasn't planning on wielding it just yet.

The infrared energy that had been emitted from Light's body had [locked on] to the General as he re-appeared above the prison of vines. Light would grip the hilt of his weapon firmly as the tip laced itself in a red glow. A small hum buzzed to life as the half-angel gathered the infrared energy he was using to monitor his surroundings around the hilt of his weapon. It would amplify as the strands of thermal energy intensified quickly. What the General obtained with years of practice and experience, Light would achieve in seconds. The light was his to control. The General may have trapped Light but it was Quetzalcoatl who would be unable to escape.

The spear was on its way down but would be intercepted by a single stream of light that was probably hot enough to burn through the top of the dome and slightly expand the hole. The aim was to knock the spear off-course and not much else, essentially taking care of any poisonous threat at the same time. Afterward, from within the dome, the light energy would split apart into four smaller streams of red light. These beams were meant to catch the vines on fire to weaken them and eventually reduce them to ashes.

After the light had scattered, the thermal energy would revert back to it's original purpose of sweeping the immediate area like a radar.

Quetzalcoatl dived away from the oncoming light, landing on the ground with a small plop that sent a tiny wave of dust in all directions. In moments the spear had flown back to its master, its configuration had reverted back to that of an old, relic-like, rusted partisan.
"You fight well for a half blood. Its too bad you and the Angels delusion yourselves into thinking your are not bred from the Arieus bloodline. You would have made remarkable soldiers..."
A flick of his wrist once again reformed the partisan into a giant halberd, the blade ranging at 2 cubic feet. Earth clung to the handle. With a mighty swing the giant halberd turned a full 360 degrees around Quetzalcoatl, a mighty earthen nova of gravity and crushing force encircling the perimeter within 20 feet of himself.

"What do you have in mind?"

Scarlett awoke what seemed like forever later and looked around. Her nightmare was still reality. Standing up she looked around a little bit.
"Abyss!"

The small bottle hidden in his robes emminated his own name. Abyss smiled as he sat in a chair composed entirely of a solid, black, if what substance he was on even had a name.
"Yes my dear? I hope you're not too cramped, I'd hate to see you in much pain. But if I were to let you out you would cause a ruckus trying to escape. Now I can't have my daughter behaving like that now can I?" Abyss scolded with a chuckle.

"Grrr... I'm not your daughter thank you very much. My mother is not that desperate."

"Actually, how would you know? For a long time I impersonated Nathan, you wouldn't suspect it that I could have possibly been the one to impregnate your mother with you? Think, my child, I have been watching over you from the beginning"

"My mom only fell for you trick that one time because she was emotionally recked and she didn't let anything go into her mind. My mom knows the truth in everything. She's known as the devil for a reason. I'm not stupid."
Scarlett turned around to walk away.

((Seriously dude... c'mon really? There wasn't another storyline you could've gone through with? -_-))

Kikyo let go and sat back down on the bed and closed her eyes.

With a mighty swing the giant halberd turned a full 360 degrees around Quetzalcoatl, a mighty earthen nova of gravity and crushing force encircling the perimeter within 20 feet of himself.

"The Arieus? I suppose that's possible but that doesn't concern me."

The flames from the vines rained down upon Light as his image writhed and distorted from the heat. The shockwave from the halberd sent a strong gust of wing towards the half-angel which blew the flames back, killing some while diminishing the rest. Light's cloak flailed from the gust along with his blonde hair. The General's weapon had intrigued Light...he'd have to be mindful that it was probably capable of more than what it looked like.

"After all, I'm not truly an angel. I was born human."

Light spoke as he lifted his cloak up from his body and tossed it to the side with the dying embers. Now it was revealed that Light was wearing a white coat that danced lightly in the breeze. His gloved hands were fingerless and they would each have one white metallic looking ring on the back of them. The crimson embers reflected a pale red light from them as he moved his right hand over his shoulder to grip the hilt of his weapon again. Fuuinshin was 5 feet in length and had one foot of width to it. The edges were an inch thick and the blade itself was rectangular in shape with a blue tinted color to it. Anyway you looked at it, Fuuinshin was not capable of cutting things like a "normal" blade The half-angel swung it over his shoulder, letting the flat end rest against the ground before him. If he had slammed it down, the weight of his weapon would have produced similar results to the General's halberd. Light's weapon weighed about 15lbs.

It was time to get things heated up again. Light would raise his left foot and slam it down hard. The dying embers actually blazed back up, roaring loudly as a stream of fire raced over the ground and towards Quetzalcoatl. Again, Light's image slanted and distorted as the flames rocketed forward. The 30 or so feet of distance would be closed within seconds. It was dodgeable but Light was anticipating the General's next move.

((oh okay. NO not you lance))

Scarlett sat around and folded her arms.
"He couldn't be... could he? No, mom wouldn't be that stupid, would she?"
She looked down the hall where she just walked from.

"Maybe because she all ready seen the failed attempts of Lance and my father. What's the point in trying when you know you're going to fail anyways. And my mother's not a wench!!!"
Scarlett ran down the hall towards Abyss.

(By the way, you're trapped in a bottle, inside Abyss's robes)

"If anyone, your mother would have had the strongest connection with you, since you were willing to sacrifice your freedom to save her. Think my child, its been in the pit of your soul since you were born, you have been my heir since you first drew breath. You are meant to continue my saga, my life's work... You are meant to destroy all the exists..."
