♠ ".....Hm."
Light had noticed something or someone dot the skies above only to disappear again. The half-angel had no doubt that they were angels since he couldn't sense or feel as it were an unholy presence. Another chapter in a seemingly endless war was at last about to begin. Fortunately, this half-angel was still keeping a good amount of distance from the enemy. Although now that he knew the angels were near, Light would not hesitate to make himself known. After all, gambling with your life was foolish unless you knew you could win or could cheat your way out of death.
Still, Light kept himself several miles away from the ground forces until he started to advance forward. The real threat lied within the flying fortress...this would become a problem later if it were to be left alone. Light's cloak writhed and flowed around his frame as he carried himself forward towards the army alone. Steadily he'd uncoil his aura, increasing its potency. A strong warm gust of air would sweep out and away from him as the air hissed viciously as if to warn anything nearby that they were about to be devoured.
Focus...
Concentrate...
The gust of warm air quickly flowed outwards as the temperature increased and clashed with the cooler air around him. The enemy soldiers would eventually feel an ominous wind approach them as Light neared closer. His cloak flailed wildly as Light prepared himself to face an army head on by himself.
Perceive...
Feel...
The half-angel would use his own thermal energy to send out waves of infrared light and "map out" the area around him. He would synchronize himself with the light itself to prepare himself for any projectiles. Soon Light would be engaging the enemy. ♠

Wail all this was happening Noctis made his way back to the angel camp to see if he could be positioned anywhere. When he got back everything was still in an uproar.

Jeohin could judge by all the time that they spent there that a couple hours had passed back on Earth. Leaving dawn close at hand.
"im sorry love but i must go. dawn is approaching on Earth and i must lead my troops into war." His voice was a little saddened as he spoke since he did not want to be away from her.
"but you will never run out of food here and you cant really get hurt here. but just dont leave ok?" He continued "oh i almost forgot." as he said that he stood up and walked over to a closet. pulling something out he handed it to her. it was a black Labtop. "heres something to help pass the time. maybe you can work on typing up what you remember. theres also internet on it and you dont have to worry about plugging it in."
As he informed her he sat next to her and pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her

He would synchronize himself with the light itself to prepare himself for any projectiles. Soon Light would be engaging the enemy. ♠ Inside the flying fortress, thousands of humanoid, winged people, the Arieus, clamored over sensors and shining runes. "Sir, we have hostiles. Several so called "angels" are scouting out the perimeter of the base, a small group 2 clicks away, and another loner 4 clicks away. Orders sir?..." One of many generals sat in the very center of the room, a chair suspended in the air so as to see the progress around him. He was adorned with brilliant silver armor, smooth and only covering the vitals so as to allow quicker movement. A steely look foretold a harsh past, a man who had been ordered to do many a cruel thing, and obeyed without hesitation. "Eliminate them, save the loner for me, I will speak with him personally." The cadet obeyed, signaling the others to release the Drifter Cannons and Behemoths, a tactic of covering fire from floating artillery and melee combat from relentless brutes who sized up to houses at adolescents.

The scouts saw the approaching forces and huddled together quickly deciding who was to go back. the rest rushed the attackers as the other disappeared without a trace and reported back to the general.

The massacre ensued, not a single life was spared as the Behemoths crushed those who dared to draw near, while the drifter cannons immolated the stragglers.

♠ Minutes passed as Light steadily made his way forward. He was traveling on foot since he had no wings. Now was not the time to consume energy in rocketing himself faster into the face of death if he had any wish to come out of this alive. His energy was being well spent as he kept himself on guard. By the sounds of things though, a little bit of action was going on. ♠

"If this is to be your end I must ask your name before I clear your presence from this area. None are to be left alive, so answer quickly before the end comes"

♠ This was an intriguing move. To come alone and away from the safety of an army and a sky fortress...Light wondered how much power this man had to have to take matters into his own hand. It wasn't as if Light himself was some sort of god to face an army alone, though. No, no, Light's confidence was held elsewhere.
"You may have my name, but I'm afraid my life is not for your taking. I am Light...Heaven's Vigilante." He stated simply as he stood what he estimated to be about 30 to 40 feet away from this man. His eyes had still been concealed by his shades while his cloak wrapped around his mouth and naturally the rest of his body. His hair tugged lightly at the breeze as he stood in anticipation of this man's response, rather it was hostile or not. ♠

Then allow me to introduce myself, I am Quetzalcoatl, high general of the 23rd fleet. Now that we have been introduced I must apologize in advance for taking your life..." The general vanished behind a grove of vines that had begun circling Light, slithering and snaking their way to form a dome around him. Suddenly the general reappeared above, a small opening allowing Light to see him high above the agricultural dome. With a flick of his wrist he sent what seemed to be a gnarled spear screaming towards the dome, small wisps of poison gas seeping from the hilt followed the spear-like missle as it soared downward towards the tiny opening with an accuracy only gained from years of war and concentration.
