Hunter smirk as he leaned in with the more familiar hunters at the bar as he glanced at the newcomers. "Don't ya worry. I gave her some good strong sh*t, but none the likes ya'll drink. I ain't no murderer." The bartender mused as he continued to serve the drinks. Marcus carried a crooked smile as he shook his head and glanced at Kerrigan, especially the mentioning of her fiancee.

"Wow. I figured you were always kinky, but violence is a bit too kinky for my foreplay." The business man chuckled as he sighed and nodded his head, glancing over to the newcomer who finally took a seat next to him. Wearing a warm smile, the man nodded to her.

"The name is Raven. New to the crew too..." He explained as he shrugged his shoulders and glanced further down the counter to the other female hunter who joined them. He chuckled as the woman attempted to pick at the six century vampire.

"Hey! Enough of that crap. We got other kinds in this here joint and if you are a bit bother by vampires in your presence, then you are in a world of surprise...The leader of this outfit is a werewolf and that vampire you are poking at is that leader's love." The man stated as he grunted in amusement. "If you want Hell upon you, you can have it...just not on my time."

With that, Marcus slipped from his seat and turned to the entrance as the vampire began his walk to it. "Veroen. Get your a** back here and have another 'gasoline'. I'll pay. Can't be lettin' ya keep gettin' upset so easily and runnin' amuck...also, you're a b***h to chase after." Marcus chuckled and offered a hand to the stool he once occupied next to Kerrigan.

But it was apparent. A nerve was struck and the vampire reappeared before the newbie in a blink. Marcus sighed and shook his head as he took his glass and gulped it all.

"Come on, kids. Get along or I'm gonna go tattle to mommy..." He mumbled, sighing and looking not forward to interfering again with an angry vampire. Hunter sighed and made a loud "AHEM" to catch the others attention as well.

"Ya'll best not spill blood lest I spill yers for doin' so. I ain't in the mood for clean ups."

Alethea watched the fool retaliate with rage and felt the strong presence behind her & indeed, he was amazing with his little "void" thing but then she stood and stared him in the eye defiantly. Her eyes almost a translucent turquoise was slowly enveloped in a pitch black, no irises or pupils, just an empty black hole and she stared. Her devilish attitude matched the anger that rose in temperature across his skin.

With a drag of her cigarette, she flicked it into the tray without even glancing in the direction of it behind her. As he asks his ignorant question she erupts with laughter, "A problem?? Are you mad, my dear sir??" she asks as her face empties of all emotion, matching his insanity with her own, "Yea, I hear those little voices...half human?? Maybe...but you're pure blood can't seem to control even yourself....so who's weak now?" she asks him with her defiance in madness glowering deep at his own sight. Her wild passion equips her claws, as they grow from the rage releasing steadily, "You are the ignorant fool that dismissed me as garbage because I'm the half-human but as it seems, you have no control over yourself, so don't speak to me about problems when you can't even solve your own." she states strongly as her defiance only grows with her passion.

She doesn't seem to recognize Marcus trying to calm them both but she couldn't understand why she was the insolent one, when she was just as qualified to be there but his "royalty" had dismissed & ignored her. Being friendly wasn't a crime but she hated disrespect & that was above it all disrespectful.

Marcus watched in silence as the two continued their little staring contest and listened as the woman ignored him and talk down to the vampire. This is not going to bode well... The man reasoned as he wished he had his gun on his person. If all else failed, a weapon on hand always was handy to have. Lucky for him though someone else read his mind as Hunter, the bartender, removed a hidden shotgun from behind the bar and cocked a shell into the barrel.

"Oi! YA BOTH DEAF OR RETARDEDED? I SAID KNOCK THE SH*T OFF OR I BLOW YA OFF! Ya wanna start somethin' in ma bar after I just got this sh*t renovated? Fine, but I'm a warnin' ya one time...stop it now or take it outside..." He raised the gun to his chest, which looked odd on the fifty something year old man, but his face and hands around the trigger spoke otherwise. One way or another they'd have to listen.

"He's right. Now sit down, guys and just chill out. I mean, what the hell is up with you kids and this condescending speaking to each other? Can't you all grow up and chill out? I mean, seriously...you guys are all 'mighty and powerful' yet you both are acting like jackasses." Marcus continued, laughing a bit as he stared at both of them. The situation had better defuse or he had a feeling the crew was going to see a side of the old man they've never seen before.

"Ya heard him. Sit down and drink yer damn drinks..." The old man spat as he continued to hold his shotgun out, his old frame ready to spring like a fresh bear trap upon the two. If Hell was going to be unleashed, the old man looked to be the man to come back whistling.

Veroen was going to control himself, but after she spoke, he almost completely lost it. as she spoke, her eyes became pitch black, almost like his. However, hers did not swirl with the depts of the Void, and the Void grew even darker, and began to rotate in his eye.

Just as she finished her sentence, he had his hand around her throat, with elongated fangs and claws. His teeth clenched, and it felt good to lose it for a few seconds, though after a second, he quickly remembered who he was, and released her throat.

Ignoring everyone else, he gave her a warning.

"You know nothing. Keep your arrogant words to yourself, or you wont last long in this city."

And with that, he turned and walked towards the exit, fangs still elongated as well as claws. His teeth were clenched as well as he let out a stressful exhale of air. He walked through the exit without breaking a stride, until he stood outside. He then slammed his fist into the ground with an infuriated growl, leaving a crater the size of a dining table. He then stood up straight, and continued his angry stride.

Alethea's throat had been clenched tight but as soon as he gripped her throat, she had gripped his arm with her clawed fist, sinking her claws into his forearm, growing tighter tighter until he releases her. She had been deliberately holding her breath.

As he released her she did bend over a bit, catching her oxygen and listened to the old men yelling about 'kids today' and then released growl from deep inside her chest.

She dashed from her bent position and charged this man, once outside and launched her claws at his back, aiming to gash deeply. With a roar she relished in the blood to be split. Alle couldn't resist the rage the erupted from within her heart, "Arrogance is your own state of mind!!"

What followed after the threat was something Marcus nor Hunter was ready for, for it all happened before the old experienced fighter could react. Once Veroen was outside, the female seemed to morph into a more feral version of herself and rushed outside after the vampire, the just about closed door revealing her intent. Marcus let out a moaned as Hunter shouted at him.

"Catch! Lead buckshots!" Hunter warned as he tossed the gun with ease over the counter at the lone male human in the group. Catching it with one hand and turning to the doorway, Marcus let out another sigh as he rushed outside to find the two fighting.

Ace and the other hunters wisely stepped back, their eyes on the two as their hands revealed their UV and silver loaded weapons. If s**t came their way, both these inhuman beings were going to be dead. Marcus glanced at them and motioned with his hands.

"Stand down! Stand down! I got this!" Marcus shouted as he aimed the shotgun at the two. Squeezing the trigger, the businessman unleashed the buckshots upon the two, fully aware both were not human and knows the lead BBs wouldn't prove fatal to them. Pumping the shotgun for another shell, Marcus fired again into the pair, hoping this will cool them down a bit. Usually a bucket of water would work, but amongst two supernatural creatures, lead buckshots were a bit more effective.

"YO! KNOCK IT OFF, YOU DUMB SH*TS!" Marcus shouted as he pumped again and unloaded another shell full of BBs at the two, not particularly aiming at one of them specifically. Inside his head, he hoped either the newcomer, Kerrigan, or Hunter was getting Edith on this. Marcus didn't know how many shells he had left and if they were going to stop.

This was exactly what the Void had wanted to happen.

Veroen lost it.

With his Vampiric senses, mixed with heightened assassin senses, he heard her rush at him from behind, and he disappeared into a cloud of smoke-like shadow, which dissolved into the air, leaving nothing there.

He then reappeared further ahead in front of her, with one of his two specialized handguns. One was loaded with UV, and the other with silver nitrate.

The Silver nitrate was the weapon of choice. He smelled her half Lycan stench in the Bar, and knew what she was.

His face was twisted into a snarl.

"You know not what you are getting into, girl..."

His left hand was the one holding the gun, while his right hand rested on the hilt of his Katana made of pure silver. He was quick, very quick, and now that the Void had been let lose, it pulsed through his body, giving him abilities of the Void.

Veroen saw Marcus shooting a shotgun at the two of them, and it angered him, though he did not want to hurt his new friend. So Veroen lowered his gun, and gave a death glare at the girl, before disappearing into a cloud of smoke, leaving nothing there.

Alethea felt the BB shotgun and snarled at this idea but hadn't retorted at the man and realizing what she was doing & noticing the man with silver nitrate, even if she had slipped back into her own sanity - she lost it once again with the sight of that s**t. Her eyes pierced him with defiance that singed his mind as her telepathy kicked in once again without control, 'I dare you to show me!' her mind connected with his for a moment and she doubled over as she coughed up blood that was sticky and of a black essence.

Alethea's eyes released the black nightmare and her body lumped against the ground hard, her eyes seeming very helpless at the moment - a soft angelic turquoise & became unconscious for a moment...

After a few seconds, she realized her position and only growled at the sights in her mind that snapped her back into reality. She immediately wiped her mouth & kicked off the ground, away from the place and found herself trailing the streets, not fearing for anything at the moment.

Her entire body on edge, she just paced through the alley way as she allowed her anger to marinate in her mind. Her perceptions of every sound had her snapping in every direction - waiting for that pitiful excuse of a man to show up again with his cute little "tricks"....'I have my own little tricks, b*****d.'

Marcus lowered the shotgun as he gave it a final pump and watched the two disappear; Veroen in a puff of smoke and the Lycan girl running off with incredible speed and agility. Glancing over at the other two, Marcus shook his head and went back inside. Once inside, Marcus tossed the shotgun back to the aged Hunter who caught it just as skillfully as Marcus had and shook his head.

"Ya did whatcha could..." The old barkeep said as he poured some cognac into his empty glass. Marcus nodded wearily as he plopped down in his seat and took a quick sip of his drink. It was indeed never boring in this crew. Hunter then looked up at Marcus and gave a sheepish smile. "Oh...I sent a message to let Eden know about what happen...don't know if she got it or not..." The old man then added before returning back to his clean glasses.

Marcus moaned as he face palmed, letting out a loud sigh. Great. Now questions are gonna be asked and I'll probably get dragged into the situation...since when did Huntin' get so complicated? The already tired business man thought as he took another gulp of his brandy, glancing at Kerrigan and the other newcomer. Raising his glass, the man grunted with an amused smile to the newbie.

"Welcome to New York Hunter Group."

Kerrigan was a patient girl - lord knows she had to be to work in a place like this for as long as she had. She was used to taking s**t because he was a vampire, and even more because she remained a hunter. Throughout the last few months she spent so much time in therapy, learning how to get over the issues she had with her new identity; learning how to turn the other cheek, as the saying went, and not care what others thought about her race and her profession contradicting. However, the comments the girl made to Veroen caused her brilliant green eyes to darken into crimson. She remained absolutely calm amidst the chaos, sipping her drink with her back turned to the conflict the majority of the time. Normally, she might have jumped in to help her fellow hunter. Unfortunately, her obvious anti-vampire sympathies would not gain her any reputation points with one of the oldest hunters in Haven. And so, amidst shooting and cursing she remained silent, neither helping nor hindering what was happening in the bar. Hunter and Raven seemed to be doing just fine in trying to calm things down themselves - shotguns smoking.

As Veroen disappeared in a waft of smoke, her crimson eyes turned to the girl as she collapsed to the ground momentarily before standing and fleeing the scene almost as quickly as Veroen disappeared. A heavy sigh escaped her. While she always knew that there were problems with the hunters, she was hoping that she might be able to wait at least a few weeks or even a month before they had issues like this that needed to be dealt with. Closing her eyes as she tried to get control of herself to make the most rational decision she was debating whether to let her petty first impression of the new huntress impede her from following, making sure that she was alright. As much as she wanted to lend a helping hand, she didn't want to offer help to a clearly arrogant lycan that seemed to have a vampire problem. This day just kept getting better and better.

"I guess it's true that we don't become hunters for our people skills," she muttered, pushing herself off the bar stool. Even though she just woke up not too long ago, she looked tired, not missing have to deal with this drama all the time. It never really made them look good as an organization when their own headquarters was being torn apart by racial conflict, intentional or not. Raising her glass with Raven, she could only grin, glad that at least one of the new hunters seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. It might be why she instantly took a liking to him.
