Zendia merely nodded her agreement with Kefka. "The boss has the right idea." Rusty also agreed, giving a small hoot. Overhearing a string of curses in the distance, she waved to Orrin. "Welcome to Hoth, old man! Now get in here!"

Celestia Whitesword (( I imagine that Hoth is pretty rough for twileks. sweatdrop But then, the temps described by others are no picnic for pretty much anyone, except maybe wookies. ))
"Hot anything sounds good right about Now." Azure commented as she began to warm up. "How are the driods and ships suposed to work in this weather, let alone us survive?" she asked just as Orrin landed.

"I imagine the engineering team has their work cut out for them," Zendia commented. "It seems that the base itself will be warmer, relatively speaking. Hopefully, they'll have some sort of shelter by nightfall, especially if it's this cold during the day,"

"That's exactly what I was saying," Gendis interjected. "It'll be a frozen hell at night time." He turned to Kefka, fixing him with a bemused grin. "These suits are made to keep us alive in the vacuum of space. It's probably the next best thing to 8 layers of fur crap. I'll meet you at the base."
With a wink he kicked his heels to the tauntaun and rode off over the snow bank.

"Yeah well by the time you've gone EV and are actually in the vacuum of space, I think a comfortable temperature is the last thing on your mind," Kefka retorted to the already gone Gendis.

Zendia merely sighed in agreement. "His funeral," she muttered. "If he wants to test the theory of these here suits being warm enough for this ice cube, he's welcome to it."
(( btw, has anyone here read The Illustrated Star Wars Universe? I seem to remember it talking about the engineers and such whom built Echo Base ))

A short while later, the transport landed at a large facility that looked at first to be an extremely large hangar. But the hangar was only part of it, and Trey realized that the X-Wings had beaten them there. He then exited the transport and ran into the building corridors, which were made of ice. Exhausted and cold, he decided to lean up against one of the ice walls and noticed that they were surprisingly not as cold as he had expected. A guard came and explained that this was due to Hoth's odd pressure conditions which cause ice to form at much higher temperatures. However, it was still incredibly frigid outside due to the winds and other factors.
Kefka then made his way into the facility where he found the EmSquad bunking which was 5 bedrooms connected into one common lounge.
Kekfa hit the 'fresher first things first and took a long sonic shower.

Azure exited the transport followed by her driod. She followed Kefka to Emsquads quarters and picked out a small room. She immediately flopped down on the bed and covered up with the blanket to get warm.

Zendia followed the others to Em Squad's new bunks and lounge. "It's not that bad in here," she commented, remembering what a tech told Kefka. "Still, it will take some getting used to," She then took Rusty to a recharge station, and then went straight to the mess hall. However, to her dismay, it seemed that it was still under construction, as it were.
A rather adventurous soldier offered "You know, I wonder if those things are edible,"
"What? Those smelly tauntaun things?"
"Yeah. Tauntaun burgers. How about it?"
Zendia and the other soldier echoed a resounding "Ewww, gross!"
(( I've read that tauntauns do not taste very well! xd ))

A stranger was sitting in the lounge going through a datapad. He was wearing the normal hoth gear, plus some blue lensed glasses. He had the Emerald Squadrons tag on his jacket. Next to him looked to be a slightly modified version of the helmet worn by A-Wing pilots.
((I've read it. Its a very good book. I'm lookig to buy it and really read it though. Very good concept art too.))

Kefka walked into the lounge after a nap and shower and found a man sitting there already, wearing an EmSquad tag and a helmet.
"Wooah buddy, what's with the helmet? And who'd you steal that tag from?" Kefka asked.

Manel looked up to the man then put down the datapad and picked up his helm and held it underarm. The walked up to Kefka and satuated the relaxed back."Replacment for lost members of the last mission. I'm Manel James, from Bespin. I fly the A-wing as yopu can see by my helmet." he said then stepped back to sit on the arm of a chair and crossed his arms.
