((Meep! Don't hurt me! I've been a very sick person...I only just feel better today! *hides*))

Nariah looked up when she thought she heard the two men mention wolves and narrowed her eyes. Why in the world would they be discussing them. Scowling, she looked back at Kali, who had pulled out a book to read. She didn't see how that woman could read with hardly any light. Sure, she could, but she was positive Kali had no enhanced sight abilities like she did.

Looking around in awe, she just stared at the oddly shapped town. It was colourful, et beuatiful in the bleak whiteness. With oddly shaped buildings, it looked more of a sculptres work, instead of a carpenters or stone-masons. With the wave shaped inn, to the shell shaped theater((they had theaters right? for plays and gleemen? sounds logical.)) she was only awe strook for a couple minutes, long enough for her to look around, but too long. getting up, she decided to find an Aes Sedai. if she was going to be put into the novice books, she needed the Aes Sedai in charge of the novices. "now, where could she be."

((So you won't be alone, I'll play an NPC for you..some of hte older guild members should remember this one...))

Benwain was walking along muttering to herself about Delving when she walked into the entrance. The novices were looking a bit harried but those in the welcome hall usually were. She stopped suddenly as she saw a Tairen girl standing there looking around. Normally Benwain would have skipped past her but she sensed a channeler in that girl; if she wasn't in Tower clothes or making her way somewhere, she was likely here to register.

Putting on the mask, the Green glided over to the girl.

"Welcome to the White Tower child. Are you here to join the novice books?"

Kederaji frowned at the question. "Probably not. Most of my past involves things people wouldn't understand." Kederaji tried to stab the steak with his fork again, then looked down to realize that there was no steak left. He picked up his glass and finished the beverage off. "You were right. That was an excellent meal. However, we should probably get back to the Tower." Kederaji stood from the table, subconsciously checking his swordbelt as he stood. He tossed a few coins on the table to pay for the meal, then headed out into the night.

The night air was cool and serene. The busy sounds of Tar Valon were long gone, and the people who made them fast asleep. Kederaji was surprised. He really didn't think it was as late as it really was. The Aes Sedai, whose name he'd either not heard or completely forgotten, walked slightly ahead to his left. She was a strange one, and she had an unhealthy interest in his past. Perhaps it was an Aes Sedai trait. He'd never known one before, since the ones he'd seen were all collared.

Kederaji opened himself to the void, accepting the serenity found in emotionlessness... but something was wrong. He could feel something off, but he wasn't sure what it was. At that moment, he heard something behind him. The sound of soft footsteps... then it was gone. Again, the sound of soft footsteps. Someone following them. Kederaji made a subtle shift in his stance. Still once more, the sound of soft footsteps. Probably eight feet back. He'd break into a run soon, unless he thought he was a professional. A professional thief, however, wouldn't have made noise.

Again, a soft patter, then the unmistakeable sound of a man running. The Deathwatch training kicked in. Kederaji paused, then turned, his sword sliding cleanly out of the sheath as he Unfolded the Fan, then arcing up to remove a man's hand at the wrist. The arc curved back down to waist level, but the would-be thief or assassin ran directly into the blade and severed his own head. Kederaji paused for a moment, looking at the body, then at the knife, then at the head. Something was wrong with this man, but he'd never seen it before. He turned to the Aes Sedai, who'd either heard the man running or the sound of steel being drawn, but had turned to face the quick battle. "Something is wrong with this man. I saw him in the tavern, but I guess I didn't pay any notice. He didn't seem like a threat."

As the man spoke Lacy finished the last of her wine and put a few coins on the table. The combined amount of their coins was more than enough to pay for the meal. But Lacy was never one to keep gold in her palm when the White Tower handed it out so freely. Of course she had money in her own right being for a powerful house in Arad Doman.

Stepping out into the cool night air, Lacy stopped and took a deep breath. It was one of the few moments when Tar Valon stopped to gather its breath for the next day. Indeed the quite moments of Tar Valon were few but late at night when everyone was in bed it was quite and serene. Not at all like the busy place she had learned to call home.

Lacy was walking along with her thoughts on what the man's past could have included that not many people would understand. Deciding to put it in the back of her mind, Lacy was about to pause and walk along with the man when she heard the unmistakable sound of steel coming from a sheath. As Lacy turned she embrassed the female part of the True Source. As she was filled she saw the man's head go rolling. "Well... That faily too care of him." Lacy walked over and looked down at the corpse unpassionatly.

Hearing the man's words, Lacy looked at the man again. "I didn't notice him. That's funny." As Lacy looked at the man she had to admit that he wouldn't have stood out in a crowed of three. Bending at the knees, Lacy knelt and touched the man. Yanking back her hand with a hiss, Lacy stood. "Gray Man. They come into Tar Valon thinking to catch an Aes Sedai unaware. He was dead long before your sword touched him. Evil things." Lacy rubbed her fingers on the silk of her gown. "I can only wonder what this one was after." Lacy knew good and well that it was the Black Ajah's doings. But she could not voice that aloud. Not many knew that she had been involved in hunting down some of the Black Ajah and was on the trail of a few who had escaped the Tower.

"Why yes i am, Aes Sedai. but, i don't know who to go to... But then again, how could you tell i was a girl?" she asked in her deep voice, Tidying up her jacket and breeches, she was perfectly happy with what she appeared as. Though she looked terrible in a dress, maybe she won't need one. "but you are Aes Sedai, so it's probably something i don't have yet." smiling, she walked twards the woman, slowly swaying, The walk of a sailor. "would you know where we're supposed to go?"

After a few hours of light drinking and talking with some of the other patrons in the inn, Kakashi got up and waved his goodbye to the patrons that still remained. It was night outside and Kakashi blinked at the sudden darkness compared to inside.

Once his eyes adjusted to the darkness he looked up the street towards Tar Valon and saw two people standing over a lump in the ground. He assumed that one was a man and the other a woman, though in the night he could hardly tell. Cautiously he approached the two people, his feet light on the paving stones, but hardly silent.

As he neared he noticed that the lump on the ground was actually a dead man and he stopped where he was, still a good twenty paces from the pair standing over the body. If they were ruffians and in a bad mood, he would rather they move on and leave him be. He didn't want to fight. He just stood there quietly, watching them and waiting for them to make a move of some sort.

Kederaji looked down at the dead man, his mouth twisted in disgust. Reaching down, he hacked off a corner of the man's cloak with his sword, then used the cloth to clean the blood from his blade. After the blade was spotless, the Deathwatch glared at the dead man and threw the cloth at him. Kederaji looked around as he was preparing to sheath his sword, and then noticed someone standing on the street in the distance.

"Someone else is watching," Kederaji said quietly, then he grunted and sheathed his sword. The man had made no attempt to conceal himself, and now Kederaji knew he was there. "Let him watch. So long as he does not try anything stupid, I don't care."

Fayela continues to slowly eat her meal in silence. She blocks out all the noise of others around her as she stares off into space, deep in her own thoughts...

Hearing Kederaji's words, Lacy stood running her hands over her skirts to smooth them across her hips. It was an unconcious gesture. Something bred into women from the birth. When you feel uncomfortable or aren't sure about something give yourself time to think by smoothing your skirts.

Lacy looked down the road at the man who was standing there. "If he tries to raise trouble I'll simply explain to Mother that it was a Gray Man. Simple enough." Lacy eyed the man again. "The question is why was he Warded? Had he not been Warded I would have sensed him. And, was he after you thinking you were a Warder or thinking to catch and Aes Sedai? And why. Those are the important things." Looking around, Lacy sighed. "I guess I need to get rid of this."

Clearing her mind, Lacy became a flower opening to a sun of Saidar. Quickly Lacy picked out skiens of Air and floated the body into a nearby alley. Quickly she picked out Fire and made a giant ball compressed with air. Soon there was nothing left but ashes. Those were neatly buried under the dirt using Air as well. "At least nothing should be found now." Lacy looked back at the alley mouth to see if her companion had followed or heard.

*Skiiy wanders into the kitchen and takes grabs some food, and after much of what is hard work for him, he puts together a mediocre egg sandwich. He missed his old world, where eating had been unnecessary, and the fact that he was eating at all would have meant it would have had to be something delicious. However, this was elsewhere, and he'd have to eat since he was human now. Fortunately, he had prepared himself for such things, and knew how to make an egg sandwich at least just in case. He sits down at the table across from Fayela and begins to munch on his sandwich hungrily, smiling all the while. It may not have been made well, but he still thought it was delicious.*

Without even looking up, and even though she was reading, Kali knew that she was being watched. And thought of what the watcher might be thinking.

"Not really. Its more of a...bad habit. I can see, although barely, and don't make the effort to light any other lights. To impatient I supposed to go through the trouble" Her eyes remained intent on the pages as she spoke to the woman across the fire.

*Alex A'Hamarra walked across a bridge into Tar Valon in utter amazement. As he made his way to the white tower that amazement only grew. When he reached the gates to the tower grounds he started to enter but hesatated*
"I should probably take my sword off."
*he reached up to his left shoulder and undid the strap. Bringing the sword infront of him he wraped the strap carefully around the scabard and headed into the tower grounds. Walking along the path to the main door of the tower he looked at the gardens.*
"I don't think i have ever seen any garden as beautiful as these."
*He stops for just a moment as he looks up at the tower itself before he heads into it. A little lost he aproches a servent walking through the main hall*
"Excuse me,..."
*The servent kept on walking not hearing him*
"...where do i go to become a warder?"
