Ah, there is that.
Hmm... For some reason, I'm tempted to bring in Dracula (the one from Castlevania) as an antagonist. Maybe when everything settles down over here. Then again, we've had a good influx of characters here. Maybe I'll just leave it. Anyway, nothing will probably come of it. Just an idea.

Well if they're a character that was killed off, you could bring 'em in at a time point prior to their demise. Like what I did with Aeris. Though if they're a robot, I would guess they could get rebuilt, unless if the damage is very extreme.

Though, taking him before he makes his reappearance would be a possibly, though he wouldn't know he's a robot.

Who would this robot character be? I'm quite curious. surprised
On a side note, wow I still need to mark down those shadow areas. sweatdrop I think I'm just going to do away with the synopsis (I feel like we don't really need one anymore) so I could fill it in with all those details we discussed.
This is going to be something I should have said much earlier, but didn't because it only came to mind just now... ...haha sorry guys... TwT lol I had thought of having a corruption source spring up in the middle of the mountains between Hima, Luin, and Asgard so that edges of the shadow catch those three towns, but it would be nice to have characters getting to them first so they could help evacuate people. Methinks I could do with holding off this plan for a bit, though.

Azura Cantarella Who would this robot character be? I'm quite curious. surprised Crow from Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. Most depressing game I've ever played, but has some pretty good characters and scenes. emotion_yatta

Might want to hold off for little bit as Luin: Lutz and Sheena are going monster hunting Asgard: Gaius's party are heading there but aren't there yet [I don't remember at the moment if anyone else is there] Hima: And the party there is just having dinner so I expect they'll want to finish their conversation first [and it looks like they're going to Luin shortly]. I thought of a good char to bring in but I'm not sure if it's worth me bringing in anymore right now [and he's a dark element who also uses light attacks], also if Quote and Leon still need a ship I made up a char recently that has one.

ShadeKyubi also if Quote and Leon still need a ship I made up a char recently that has one. That would be appreciated. However, I haven't heard from Jak in a while, so I'm guessing he's still busy. If you want to bring this person in sooner, you can probably just do so.

Finally put out an updated map and finalized the details on the effects of the shadows and how to deal with them.Let me know if you guys think there should be some changes. I put small shadows over where the old Human Ranches were, except for the Remote Island one. I have no idea where that would be in the reunited-world map. And the Asgard one was actually pretty close to the Tower of Mana.
I also decided to let Poison-nullifying things work in the shadows after all, but only for a limited time. It was Shade's suggestion, making a parallel to the Soulfire concept in the Niflheim bonus dungeon from the first game. What do you guys think of it?

Looks good. Anyway, I think it'd be acceptable to just guess where the Remote Island ranch is now, should anyone need it. ...You might say it's a hidden island ranch. That reminds me of the good old nickname that one of my friends has for the Iselia ranch: "The Hidden Valley Ranch." Good times. "Fraaaaaaaank!"Anyway, the temporary protection thing should work. Nice parallel. Out of curiosity, about that pitch black darkness in the middle... Is this regular darkness, or D&D-style magical darkness that can usually only be countered by magical light or something like that? I'm guessing the former, but it's good to check.
