Zack Fair"Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your honor as SOLIDER." After informing all the Avalanche members and former Avalanche members he could contact of the party, and notifying them all it would take place in Balamb, Zack made his way to the flying Garden. It was convenient enough since they had had a party here many years ago, and of course, it was Avalanche's temporary base until the situation in Midgar was resolved, if it ever would be. So, a lot of members were here already.
When the Ex-SOLDIER got to the Garden, he sent out a message to all the ones he contacted saying the party would be starting soon, so to head to the Garden. He began to get the area prepared, and though Squall was annoyed he made the plans without asking first, he eventually agreed and got some of the students there to help him get things prepared. So, in no time there were tables set up with plenty of party food, including a punch bowl that had a label on the side that said "Yuffie, don't spike this again." Yes, it was already feeling like a party. There were other fun party activities set up around the lobby and some of the other places too.
"Say, Squall, where's that lady of yours gone to?" Zack asked, crossing his arms and looking at Squall.(Rinoa? If I know her she's off doing some stupid adventure...) "...Shopping." He said blankly. "What about Aerith?""She'll be here too," Zack said, grinning. "It's been a bit too long since I've seen her. Far too long." It really had been. It felt like another whole four years had passed. (( OOC: ))

        "Freeze, buster!" Zack would feel something press against the middle of his back. And when he turned, he would see the grinning wutaian princess standing there, her hand outward for a moment, it seemed she had used her knuckles to act as a weapon, of course, no pain was involved, she just put pressure to get his attention! "It feels like foreeeeeeever since I seen you too, hmm. It has been a year, hasn't it? " That was pretty sad, actually. Most of avalanche had been split for that long? It was even harder to process how true that was. "Hey, grumpy!" She waved to Squall now, her grin remained in place, seeming a lot more cheerful since the last time she had been with them, just before everyone split. There were reasons for that happiness, and it wasn't just because of this party, everyone coming together again, but more so that her problems with Stark had been fixed up, they were together most days now, as a husband and life should be. To bad she didn't know Aerith and Zack weren't as close now. Not on bad terms, of course. "Well?! Who else is comin'? Did you get Spikey to come? " She meant Cloud, of course.

 Agrias Oaks It took some time for the Holy Knight to finally catch back up to the ninja princess. When she got within sight of her goal, Agrias took several steading breaths to regain her wind. Bloody hell, that woman is hard to keep up with. Oh! She wants to prank her old friends, eh? Alright, two can play at this..., Agrias thought up an idea based on what she saw. Quickly, the paladin cast a silence spell on herself; and then, and evil smile played out on her lips. Sauntering into the room behind the tomboy ninja, Agrias put a finger to her lips to indicate that no one seeing her or talking to Yuffie would give her away. Once the Holy Knight was within reach of the Wutai princess, Agrias dropped the silence spell and grabbed her prize right around Yuffie's waist -- lifting her up easily. Then whispering in Yuffie's ear, the blonde paladin 'chastized' her charge, "You know Yuffie, you really are a difficult woman to keep up with, much less protect..."

So,there was Yuffie, so into conversing with Zack and Squall there, she didn't notice what was creeping up toward her. "Well? Is it going to be a full out reunion kind of party? " She seemed to really hope so, as childish and energetic as the young ninja sounded to them, she did just so happen to have strong feelings for her friends, and being apart from the very friends she had once fought side-by-side to save this world with, was pretty hard. With her mind so into the thought of seeing everyone again, her guard was completely down, there was no reason to keep it up here, now was there? So, the very second that strong armored grip came to clamp over her waist, and lift her up effortlessly, Yuffie's eyes widened and she let out a bit of a shrieking yell.It was luck, pure luck she had also very quickly recognized the voice whispering into her ear, as she was about to go ninja on her 'attacker'. Lucky for Agrias, that didn't happen, and Yuffie's face turned a bright red. She did just scream in front of Zack, didn't she? The very same man she had tried her whole entire life to act tough around? Yeah. That wasn't going to sit well with her for a while! "Gawds..This is so embarrassing. To be so easily sneaked up on...!" Yuffie was quick to struggle herself free, and land back to the ground comfortably before turning to Agrias. "Hello again..secretly-evil-holy-paladin! ah,haha,um...You know, though..I don't need protection. I think its the other way around, the world should fear me, the greatest Ninja of all time! I require no protection. Though if I did decide to play the helpless princess act, I would hope my hero is my husband.." She said playfully, blushing a little at the thought. That would be one heck of a strange feeling for Yuffie, but something like that would never happen. She was to good to need any rescues! That was what she thought, anyway.

Agrias Oaks Agrias smirked at the princess she had sworn to protect, "While I know you think that you can take on anything and everything, how would it look for me? I have sworn to protect you and be at your side, Princess. Why it would be rather unsightly for a knight to be constantly away from her charge, while the princess is out risking life and limb. That is not conducive to one's personal honor, Princess."
The blonde paladin make a face of mock shock and shame from the feint on her honor. Then made a full smile leaning in toward Yuffie's face, almost as if the Holy Knight was leaning in to snatch a kiss from the ninja. Agrias' clear blue eyes seem to soften a bit before addressing her friend, "So please don't just leave me in the dust. It is rather rude, you know. My place is at your side, not just 'guarding the castle.' Alright?"

Stark Liler "A man who won't die for something is not fit to live."  "...Is it impossible to persuade you to find another charge?" Stark, who had been with Yuffie, said, placing a hand on Yuffie's shoulder and pulling her back from the Paladin a bit. She was getting a bit TOO close for Stark's liking. "As Yuffie mentioned, if she were in need of protection, I assure you, now, I would be there," especially since they had, in a way, reconciled after being apart for so long. "Though I doubt she would need it; she incredibly skilled, you know. She isn't helpless. But again, it is my duty to protect her, as her husband. To try to take that duty away from me is a dishonor to me and an insult to my family, so I must politely ask you to find a different charge." It was true; the Lilers were a family of Samurai, and one that always upheld the belief that a man should protect his wife, though of course, the wife would typically be quite a bit weaker than Stark's. Still, that didn't change the fact. His family had always had a very strict honor code that he tried to adhere to, but some things could be a bit too extreme. "And your closeness with my wife is terribly uncomfortable for me. We have already suffered through one... ordeal. I do not want another." That ordeal being Hiyori, obviously.
"...Okaaaaay, so, I'm gonna be by the punch. If you start swinging swords at each other, go outside first." Zack said, starting away to let the three talk. Of course, he was joking; if they DID start to fight he would make them stop. This was supposed to be a FUN day after all, their last celebration before fighting the Beast. Squall also walked away from the three, obviously finding no interest in getting involved.  (( OoC: ))

Soko had been quietly leaning against the punch table cheap beer in hand, the remainder of the six back on the table next to him. he wore his usual garb black combat boots, cargo jeans, black armored trench coat and a gun-blade sheathed at either side. he was sipping his beer rather slowly away at it as he watched the room a semi depressed look on his face, he nodded as Zack broke away and approached the table

Yuffie's soft brown eyes blinked at the holy paladin, while she knew Agrias meant well, and really did appreciate her kindness and concern for her safety, it was..Just a little to much. Even as a young girl, she had never had anyone watching over her as she went along on her 'treasure hunting' adventures to gain as much Materia as she could, though stealing from unsuspecting people, as well as Zack! Trying to smile at her as to show she wasn't angry with her, Yuffie began to shake her head softly. "I know you mean well, Agrias..And It means a lot to me you care so much! Though, truly, I don't need a knight to watch out for me. I was out fighting monsters at the age of nine, stealing materia to become stronger for Wutai, I've done a lot on my own and have never gotten into the point of needing rescuing. Trust me, I'm fine out in the world without the need of a protector.." Well, she didn't need to know about the Don thing, no one ever needed to know about that. Elena and her were both scared for life from that ordeal!
As Agrias moved in closer to her, a breif panic set into her body's actions, causing her to take a step back when the paladin's face became so close to hers. She wasn't sure what she was trying to do, but, with how close she had been lately, and all the previous comical things that had happened with her and Agrias, it wasn't to hard to mistake her actions for something else. "Umm...R-really, I honestly don't need you as a knight. Just a friend, please, Agrias? " She only ever wanted Stark's protection, though not so much that she was treated as a helpless princess. This was not something Yuffie enjoyed so much, she enjoyed to show her strength and courage to the world.
Then, she felt a hand come to rest on her shoulder, when she turned around she would see Stark there behind her, who proceeded to pull her back a little bit from the paladin, and began to speak to her. Oh, this was certainly a scene she never thought she would find herself in the middle of. Waiting until he had finished speaking his thoughts on the matter, she found herself quickly bowing in respect to Agrais. "Please don't take this the wrong way..We both really appreciate your concern. With all that's happened, and with...Hiyori, we just want to be together. We've still got a lot of making up to do for our time apart. If it makes you feel better, um...well, you can think of Stark as my knight? " She glanced back at him, snickering playfully, trying her best to lift the mood. "I can buy him some knightly armor, it'll be a sight! " She grinned, turning back to her friend. "So, really! Don't worry..."

Agrias Oaks Agrias blinked hard from the response she received, almost like she got slapped in the face. The paladin shook her head after she thought for a moment, and addressed Stark directly, "I suppose you would think that after dealing with a particular foxgirl. I have no desire to see a certain set of children from winking out of existence. And quite frankly.... I'm lonely as hell, and I enjoy being around Yuffie here, and the children you have... going to have... Ugh, some of the that gives me a headache. Anyway, I've never had a family, and all I have ever known is... guarding those I care about and fighting everything from vagabonds to demons. Have no kin and no home to speak of. In many respects, I am an orphan. Your wife has shown me considerable kindness.
"The situation you had alluded to with the particular foxgirl, reminded me of what had happened to the princess that was under my charge. Delita's lust had cost Princess Ovelia her life. And I do beg your pardon, but I thought you were going to... do something that would have hurt Yuffie. I had saw a pattern that was not there. I was wrong, and for that I do apologize. Also in many respects, I can be ... overbearing. I just don't want to be lonely again."Then addressing the couple fully, "Now can we go deal with this damnable beast, or are we going to just stand here and argue?"

  Meanwhile, at the party area sitting at a lone table was a certain teenage chestnut haired girl, who didn't seem to be completely thrilled, and may even come off as bored considering what she was doing to keep herself busy.It was a pretty small, round table, with most of it being taken up by many, many playing cards. Though she wasn't playing a card game, and especially not with herself, she was stacking them, and so far, with much concentration and steady hands, they had reached pretty high without one falling yet. As her little tower of cards began to grow, the more nervous she became. It was wobbling, any tiny gust of wind, a knock on her table, and they would scatter all over the table and ground. With anxious blue eyes, she slowly, cautiously began to move her hand with another card to place at the top. Could she do it? "Oh god! I'm to nervous..." She said to herself, her hand began to shake a little the closer it inched down to place the card. "Come on! Just...one....more..card! "
And she placed it.

..................It didn't fall.
"YAY! I win! You thought you could defeat me, you evil cards! I-- EEK! Noooooooo!!!" She gasped, her cards all taking a tumbling and some falling over the culprit who just had to poke them to cause for their demise. Hikari. Of course. It was now a party! Where there was destruction, was a party, right?
Cackling with all her evilness, Hikari grinned tauntingly."Wanna play a game?? Instead of being soooooooo boring! We make a bet, who ever gets enough candy that they can't fit anymore in their bag, wins. The winner gets.....the losers candy! ALL of it! " Oh, this was going to be a game Hikari would most certainly win. Oh yes. She was dressed the best, which should earn her double the candy! Her outfit was more in a little demon theme, but far to cute to be scary at all. It did however, fit her personality very well. "Wha...I am not boring!! But fine! I'll take you up on your challenge and won't lose!" It was a wonder who was the older one here, Hikari at age eight, and Ariel at..Hmm, maybe that wasn't so strange after all. Ariel was born only a few years ago, but thanks to a age increasing experiment forced on her by Hojo,she looked more like a young teenage girl, no older then sixteen, as well as her twin brother Zane. So, that would actually put Hikari as oldest! This was very strange.... "Borrrring!! To clear the title, you must win! But you won't. Hee,hee..Set your phone for 50 minutes! That's how long we have to gather alllllll the candy we can!" And so, they both set their phones timer's, before darting off in a hurry past anyone who got in their way, this was a very serious mission!! "She sure is dressed right, she really IS a little demon!" Ariel just had to say as she rushed off!

"Here! Try this one! " Emma, who was holding a cute pumpkin decorated cup-cake up, raised it right up to her date's mouth, as to get him to take a bite. It would likely embarrass him to death, but that was all part of the fun. Keno had one of two options, he could resist it, and try to deny the cupcake tasting, or give in and take that bite, ether way, he had a feeling he would have more orange icing on his face after she smashed it into it if he didn't take that bite! "Hee,hee...Don't worry. Eating sweets isn't going to make you look any less strong! " "....I didn't say that it would!" Then, that must mean it would make him look weak. No man on earth ate cake, right? Yeah, he was a odd one. "Fine..Your plotting something against me if I don't, aren't you? " Sighing heavily, he leaned forward a little, and took a bite..He could feel his pride diving far down into the depths of the impossible to return as she giggled away, grabbing one for herself to enjoy with him..

Yuffie felt her stomach drop as she caught sight of the pained, hurt look on her friends face. This was not what she wanted to have happen, she hoped so much she wouldn't be hurt. The young ninja princess took a quick step forward, her hands reaching out to grab Agrias's own as she looked at her. She felt so guilty."Agrias..i'm so very sorry...You know nether of us meant to hurt you, don't you? J-Just try to understand, i've never been a formal kind of helpless princess. I was always free, fighting and becoming stronger on my own, by my own skills I learned a lot by myself. Then to suddenly have someone who really wants to watch over me and assume they're duty as a knight, It just wasn't I could handle, you know? And as much as I love how much you care for me, the worlds most annoying ninja..! It means a lot. Anyone else who is in need of your watchfulness would be lucky. I enjoy your company too, so don't think that I don't! " She tried to give her a little smile, letting her hands go now. 'I also love how much you care for our children..Your a part of the family just as well! So, if you were once and orphan, remember that, okay? You have all of us, and gosh, all of Avalanche as your new family! You won't be lonely ever again.."
Yuffie took a moments pause as she spoke of the beast, which still seemed to be tormenting them with wonder of if it would ever really try to strike. "Umm..Well, we can't do that yet? I don't think it's fully shown it self, and well, this party is kind of a get-together Zack put up for all of us to be together and have a little fun before all hell breaks lose, so to speak. So right now, were to put away the Beast thread, and go on with our lives to enjoy the best of everything we can.." She was trying to put it in a less morbid way, too...

Yugi Liler "We've got each other! And that's enough for us. For me."  Before the teenager who was trying way too hard to look cool could get a bite of the cupcake, though, someone would step between the two, taking the cupcake and walking just as calmly through the middle of them two as he walked in. Though, there was something peculiar about this person... he was a zombie.
"Rrrrrrrrrrrr...." The zombie moaned out, taking a bite out of cupcake, getting the frosting on its face. Though since there was a hole in its throat, the chunk it bit off fell right to the floor.
And, passing by the table where Hikari and Ariel were, was another zombie with... an absurd amount of candy. In fact, it was a bag that was larger than the zombie was. It was as if it had gathered all the candy from every part of the Garden. And Midgar. And Wutai. And the entire world. Well, maybe not that last one. Turning its head slowly, its tongue slid out of its mouth... almost as if it was sticking its tongue out at them, before it turned forward and continued on its path to... wherever it was going.
Finally, another zombie was taking scoops out of the punch an endless number of times, and pouring it into its mouth. Though due to the torn flesh at the bottom of its head, the punch just went straight to the floor.
Yuffie would feel her the back of her collar pulled back, and suddenly, spiders. Well, not REAL spiders, but fake ones that were very realistic. They were dropped down her back by her darling son, Yugi. Vanishing afterwards, the ninja/necromancer appeared at a high up spot, letting out a mighty (not very mighty actually) laughter. "Bwahahaha! NOW it's a party! Go, my pretties! Revel in the party to your no-longer-beating-heart's content MuaHAHAHAHAHA!!" All the zombies let out a deathly moan, that would sound terrifying to most people, but sounded happy to Yugi as if replying happily that they got to finally have some fun.
This was an interesting teenager.
"...Well... alright then." Stark said, seeming at a loss for words.
"...Yep, that's Yuffie's son." Zack said, not even having to look to know.  (( OoC: ))

Neptune"Don't you know who I am? I'm the main character of all main characters: Neptune!" "Ohmigosh! I've never seen so much food! ...Well, that's a lie. But still! This is going to be great! Hehyuk!" A small-framed, probably lesser-known girl said as she marveled at all the food and drinks on the table. "If only Compa made it all... That's the only way this could be better. Oh! And if they had..." Her eyes shot to a small cup with a seal on the top. "...Pudding!" She shouted gleefully, grabbing at the pudding, though another hand went over it. A grey, grotesque-looking zombie hand. "...Hey! Hands off! This is mine!!" She shouted, yanking at the cup.
"Rrrrrr....!" The zombie moaned out, yanking on the cup also.
"You can't even taste things anymore!" Neptune shouted, again pulling.
"Rrr? Rrrrr...!!!" The zombie pulled again.
"I... said... let... GO!" She yanked on it again with all her strength, but that caused the pack to completely break, shooting pudding everywhere in the surrounding area. "...." Her mouth was slightly agape, as if completely in shock of what just happened.
"...Rrr." The zombie let out, sounding annoyed."..." Suddenly, a bright flash enveloped the young girl, and when it died down, an older, more mature-looking girl was there. "My apologies, but you must now suffer the consequences of your actions." For robbing Neptune of her pudding, only one punishment was fitting--death. With a single slash of her broadsword, the zombie's head came off, rolling across the floor a short distance. "You should have never-" She stopped suddenly as the zombie's body continued to move. "...What?!" The body seemed to be moving around with no sense of direction, leaning down and feeling on the floor, as if... trying to find its head.
"Rrrrrr...." The head let out, as if trying to call to the body to come this way. The body didn't seem to hear, possibly because it didn't have ears. "...Rrrrrrrrr!!"
"..." Purple Heart wasn't sure how to respond, so... she just sort of reverted back to her normal form, and walked away."WHO THE HELL CUT OFF SHANE'S HEAD?!" Yugi shouted, sounding incredibly angry. Nobody took credit for it. Cupping his hands around his mouth, he called out to the zombie. "Shane! Buddy! You okay?!"
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............."
"Uh, I don't see what that has to do with the situation," Yugi said, scratching the side of his head. "Neither of them are even here."
"Rrrrrr!!"
"Yes, I know you love her. Rick does too."
"Rrrr...?!"
"Don't you sass me!!""Are you really having a casual conversation with that zombie?!" (( OOC: ))
