Jonah Hill? That guy who's in some of the Stoner movies. Those things are funny. Either that or Johnny Knoxville.
Which got C.J.'s attention. "Ooh! Get him! I LOVE watching Jackass!" he piped up.
Maybe! I mean he DID play a grampa!

She blinked a few times, then looked between the two. "I... can't say I've ever seen him before. And I don't watch Jackass, so I wouldn't know who you're talking about with that either."

Crazy stunt humor. That's what that is . . . although it could be a lot worse.
"Kinda how I'm kinda whacky enough to go diving into really dangerous situations." C.J. quipped.
. . . *looks at the time* Oh crap, I gotta go to work! Hey, thanks for comin' up, y'all.

Misty blinked and looked back over at her CJ. "Work?" she asked. "He has work other than... er... creating?"

C.J. smirked. "Yep. He also works a fruit truck in his world by day and at night he's . . . a Rockabilly singer. (sorry, writer. I know you wanted to tell her you're Batman, but we can't pull it off!)" he said with a shrug.
Well . . . yeah, she's right. Kinda surprising, isn't it?

Misty blinked several times at him, but tried to shrug it off the best she could. Best not to overthink this... That was just.... um... teleporting from one location to another. Nothing monumental or godly or anything like that. The whole writing thing was...um.... we'll just call it confusing.

"Don't worry, darlin'. I'll fill ya in on this and try to explain it a little better later. In the meantime we oughta get going." C.J. said as he got up and went for the laptop. Yeah, sounds good, hondo. I'll catcha later! Wait . . . C.J. . . . don't do that, I got the wrong tab up. C.J.? Crap!!!
Before the writer could save him, C.J. fell into the wrong stop! Down he went . . . into . . .<********! Don't tell me I'm back dealing with Mr. Hothead!"
No . . . worse.

[[[ Back, bleh work ]]] Misty's eyes widened for a moment as CJ vanished through the computer. Her initial reaction was to jump up and rush over to the computer... but she was afraid she might fall in too or.... something.... This was still making her head hurt. Unsure of what to do, she looked back and forth from the computer to CJ... erm... his writer.

((I gotcha, hon. Figured you were busy.))
Uh, Misty . . . I honestly don't know how he did that, but you oughta go help him out. . . . my god, I'm sooo so sorry!
"Jeez . . . well, at least I got a fighter plane! TORA TORA TORA!!!"

Misty frowned, then looked over at the computer. "Al... all right..." she said uneasily. Hopefully this whole thing would sort itself out soon... or at least make sense...
Taking a deep, calming breath, she started towards the computer to try and follow after her CJ. "Well... it was, uh... nice meeting you."

Nice meeting you too! Sorry about that . . . didn't think it'd work that way!
*Watches her leave and then sigh* Well, that was something, wasn't it?
((No kidding. Well, hopefully the whacko got it out of his system))

[[Enter From Endiness -One Way- via Rift]]
Hustle and bustle. Talking, walking, tapping and drinking. The sounds of Gotham seemed not so far away on it's outskirts, the night air hinted by heroism, villainy and rogue out-landish ideals, as was the nature of the torn city under the care of the caped crusader.
To most, the events that took place are barely known, news headlines only covering a small portion of the underbelly that goes on. The entrance of a new being, a potential ally or threat to many, was just as such. Only with those who monitored things as closely would be alerted to his arrival.
The night air warped and twisted. The darkness bent and spiraled on itself, a small pocket of existence in the sky opening as light and energy shown forth, mocking the brief presence of the moon to any who may have seen it at a distance, blotted by the night time lights and buzz about of night time life.
The veteran Dart Feld fell from these heavens, billions of atoms that comprised him, flowing out from the expanse to form his body, perfectly portraying his state of shock and surprise as reality snapped around him. As quickly as he had appeared, the vortex above him closed off, incapable of remaining open, expending it's energy and Dart fell towards the earth, flailing as he cried out in the horror.
Quickly, below, the earth was coming to meet him and he covered his eyes with his arms, crying out, "OH SH---!!!"
He impacted the ground hard, his emerald armor clinking loud as he hit dirt and groaned in pain, remaining still as his mind tried to think past his dizziness and raking soreness that coursed through him.
"Ooowww..."

// Since I have to bring her back into play somehow... // A few moments passed by while the strange man lay dazed on the ground. Then tiny, cautious footsteps echoed through the alley close to Dart. The steps grew closer, then stopped. Moved closer again, then stopped. "Hey... are you dead?" a very young voice called out. Small black shoes with little pink hearts quickly moved closer towards the fallen man. A little girl, couldn't have been more than five, moved her head over the mans. Bright red eyes blinked down at him as dark red hair fell around her face. A puffy-sleeved, black dress with little red hearts dawning it was behind a large black teddy bear that she had clasped in her arms. She blinked down at him a moment, then tilted her head towards the side. "Seriously, that was a pretty big fall. Are you dead? Can I poke you with something sharp?"

Dart groaned as he heard the little girl's innocent, if not a tad morbid, question and slowly rolled himself onto his back. Pain ringed in him like a hundred small, angry bells but he was otherwise alive, perhaps a displaced rib or fracture in his left arm from taking the brunt of his fall with his armor.
His coarse blue eyes gazed up at her, tilting his head and blinked a few times, having no recollection of this young girl among the crowd, no, it was day time also when he entered the portal and here it is at night. She was waiting for an answer so he spoke, "No...no...I don't believe so. I think I'm quite well..."
He spoke despite small pains in his chest, some of the pain hinted in his facial expression as he spoke. 'Yep...' he thought, 'Definitely a rib...'
"Dear girl...where is Lord Albert...or Shana? Where have they gone?"

The child blinked down at him once as her lips curled into a small, slightly disappointed frown. Suppose she could still find something to poke him with... but it wasn't as much fun if he was fine. Even less if he could grab the stick or get up quickly. Her bright eyes became puzzled, and her brow furrowed in thought once he asked where some people were. Her frown grew, then pulled over to the right side of her face as she puzzled on the question more. "Lord who now?" she asked. It didn't ring any bells, and there certainly hadn't been anyone of royalty around here anywhere. Heh. Royalty in Gotham. That was a funny little mental image. "Sorry, Mister. I don't know anyone with a funny name like that. You were the only one that fell out of the sky." the child added. Then she paused for a beat as her frown suddenly turned into a full smile. "Or did you jump from one of the rooftops? Or fell? Were you fighting someone? Did you just slip off the side? Crash through a window?"
