 Dewburst
[Dewburst nodded gravely. Suddenly he seemed weary and bone-tired.
Sighing he legs wobbled underneath him.
Grinding his teeth he could feel the Madness waiting to surge up and sweep away the part of him that was still sane.]
"Get away from me. I'm having trouble controlling it, go get my herbs kit. There's been enough trouble without little ol' me causing some more. Now go!" he mewed feeling strained.
[Sitting lightly on his haunches, he tried hard not to hear the beating of the cats' hearts all around him.
Eyes narrowed, he desperately wished for Berryblaze's firm kindness.]

 D u s k p a w“Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.”_____________________________“I already got it, Cloverpaw!”
[Duskpaw yowled as she darted into Berryblaze's den. Oh, how hard nostalgia hit her. She remembered the days when she was but a kit, sneaking into the medicine cat's den to look at all the herbs in wonder, only to be found by Berryblaze and carried back to the nursery. Shaking her head, Duskpaw gathered her mixture for subduing the Madness. She rushed back to Dewburst and Cloverpaw, placing the herbs at Dewburst's paws.]
“Lap up the poppy seeds, Dewburst, then I can help you drink the poppy milk.”
[She mewed calmely, trying not to trigger any sort of erratic emotions within the unstable tom. She gently bit off an end on the poppy flower stem, letting the milk flow out if pressure was added to the stem.]

 C l o v e r p a w“Fail with honor rather than succeed by fraud.”_____________________________[Cloverpaw gasped, about to dart for the medicine cat's den as Duskpaw flew by him. He nervously glanced at Dewburst, a gleam of concern in his eyes. How would the tom be able to withstand the cravings until Galespirit returned was a mystery to Cloverpaw.
He watched as Duskpaw returned wih the herbs and began to work with Dewburst. He tilted his head, a thought coming to mind.]
“You know, if all goes well, you should be BreezeClan's medicine cat. Or at least medicine cat apprentice, to Icepaw, I mean.”
[He mewed to her. Duskpaw flashed him a grateful look, but it was mixed with pain as she shook her head. She didn't want to be the medicine cat, truthfully, even though she was carrying out a medicine cat's duties right there and then. Cloverpaw looked back at BreezeClan. The cats whispered amongst themselves, discussing what in StarClan's name they'd do with Dicekit and her littermates.]_________________________

Even after my mirror's been shattered... Dicekit+++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Dicekit blinked her thanks to Duskpaw, as she lapped up the herbs, watching her mother. She curled tightly next to the panting Spadekit, who watched in utter horror at Doveflight.] "Now, now. let's not be hasty. We don't want any other kits hurt, now do we?" [The bloody she-cat mewed, her pelt bristling and her legs shaking. Finally, the queen was becoming nervous. The queen took one step back, her hind paw skidding a little almost over the edge. Dicekit gazed at the nervous she-cat. With all that shaking, she was sure to fall. She turned and weakly lapped at her sister's bristled pelt. Something needed to distract the mottled she-kit. There was no way Dicekit would let Spadekit watch Doveflight if the queen were to fall.] "You did very well out there, sister. Look at that scratch, too! That mangy foxdung'll be running from you with her tail between her legs before you can say 'mouse'!" [spadekit's eyes glowed in triumph, keeping silent as she closed her eyes.] "You did well....rest. Rest." [Dicekit gazed almost motherly over her kin, but the perfect silence was quickly interrupted by a yowl from doveflight. The queen was dangling from a high point in the tree, Owltalon a mere tail-length from her. Doveflight scrabbled about, trying to dig her wet claws into the bark. Her hind legs kicked in the air, and her eyes were wide in bloodshot fear. Dicekit's eyes widened. Was this it? Doveflight's final ending?] ...I still see the reflection.

C l o v e r p a w“Fail with honor rather than succeed by fraud.”_____________________________ [Pressing his pelt against Spadekit's in comfort, Cloverpaw watched with Dicekit as their mother dangled from the end of the branch. The young tom widened his eyes as Doveflight struggled to claw a firm grasp onto the tree branch. Her bloody paws didn't make it easier. She looked like she would slip from the blood smearing onto the branch rather than the branch itself break from her weight.]
Oh, the irony...
[A ripple of yowls and caterwauls broke out from the BreezeClan cats. Most shouted demeaning insults, wanting the queen to loose her grip and plummet to her death, while few others yowled at Owltalon to bite her scruff and pull her to safety.
It was strange, to Cloverpaw, how he and his sisters were probably some of the only cats watching in silent horror as Doveflight clung onto that branch for dear life.]

 O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”______________________________[Owltalon struggled to keep his own balance on the Highbranch as Doveflight fell and clung onto it. The branch rocked and swayed unsteadily beneath his paws, though he managed to stay standing. His Clanmates yowled beneath him, some throwing insults and mocking Doveflight, others caterwauling for Owltalon to grab the crazed she-cat and pull her onto the branch. He flicked his ears as he saw how helplessly Doveflight dangled from the branch, her limbs either scrabbling at the bark or kicking the air beneath her. Enemy or not, he couldn't let her die like this. There would be no justice in an accidental death.
Twitching his whiskers, Owltalon crouched on the branch, his belly brushing against it, and slowly placed one paw in front of the other, trying to keep his balance on the swaying and shaking branch. At one point, he tottered, almost slipping off. The cats below yowled in fear, then relief as he regained his poise on the Highbranch, his long claws digging into the tree. Now, Owltalon was within a few mouse-tails of Doveflight. He stretched a paw out, just barely brushing it against Doveflight's paws.]
“Stop scrabbling like that! You'll fall before the branch even breaks! Calm yourself and let me help you!”
[For once, Owltalon yelled strictly, snarling at the snow-white she-cat to stop her frantic scrambling so he could actually save her pathetic life.]________________________ . .

Birdsong smiled at Cloverpaw. Such courage. Cloverpaw had her vote. The kits and Cloverpaw were as much a part of this Clan as anyone else. Her eyes narrowed as Doveflight scrambled for safety, Owltalon attempting to help her]
"Owltalon," she called out, "Be careful"
[She didn't want the crazy she-cat to attack him. There was no way her sister was going to lose her mate already. She knew how much it hurt]

Even after my mirror's been shattered...Dicekit+++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Dicekit stared in awe, as the frantic queen tried to let her pelt lie flat. She slowly pried one paw from the branch to grab to Owltalon. The queen's eyes were wide in fear, and Dicekit felt a sense of actual contentment.] Finally, she knows how her own victims feel. Helpless, scared, her life is literally dangling on a limb.
(oh, rain. You have no idea how much i'd like to, but i agreed with Leo that i'd hold off on the final deal until i got permission to go through with it.)
...I still see the reflection.

Dewburst
[Dewburst lapped up the seeds and herbs gratefully.
He eyes went all fuzzy with confusion and grew as round as the full moon.
He gaze seemed anxious and very uncertain of his actions.
He looked at Duskpaw with large eyes full of innocence.]
"W-what now?" he mewed eyes half-closing with tiredness.
[He seemed to not notice the scene around him but he looked around fuzzily before taking a few uncertain pawsteps.
He stumbled, like a newborn kit taking it's first few steps and walked right into Cloverpaw.]
"Oof!" he mewed.
[He looked into the tom's eyes and recognition sparked faintly in them.
But his eyelids drooped and he gave a huge yawn.
What ever feeling that was in his face before had disappeared and he looked around and up in sky.
He suddenly ran over to the Highbranch(?) and looked up in such awe and wonder.
He looked up to see something white swaying down towards him. ((Doveflight's tail.))
He squealed with delight and tried to paw at it, once actually grabbing on but he gently let it go.
He face lit up, oh what fun he was having!]
((Dewburst is sedated right now and mistakes himself for a kit.
He's playing with Doveflight's tail, not knowing what damage could come of it.))

O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”______________________________ [Owltalon flicked his tail in the direction of Birdsong, showing that he'd heard her. He could see Doveflight trying her best to make her way over to him, but her movements still made the branch sway. Little cracks would sound now and then from within the bark, and that worried Owltalon. He took a little pawstep closer to Doveflight, but stopped there. If he's go any closer, the branch would snap under the combined weight of Doveflight and himself. He stretched his neck out as far as he could, ready to sink his teeth into the white queen's scruff once she got just a mousetail closer.
Suddenly, Doveflight seemed to loose her grip, gasping and her bloodshot eyes rimmed with fear. Owltalon gaped as he saw Dewburst happily pawing at the queen's fluffy tail.]
“Dewburst! Someone, hold him down!”
[With that, Reedwind and Windtail--some of the biggest toms in the Clan--shouldered their way through the crowd of cats, surrounding Dewburst and beginning to shove him back towards Duskpaw.]

Dewburst
[Dewburst felt himself being pushed away by the grown-ups.
He yowled a little in protest but didn't try to fight them.
His kit-like mind warned him not to go against his clan.
He knew that being a kit meant that you were the smallest and you had to be protected by others.
Even though they didn't yell at him, Dewburst felt as if he'd done something very bad and they were punishing him by not letting him play with the white thing.
He felt guilty of committing some crime.
He looked down shamefully and backed away where he'd cause no more problems.]
((Aww, poor Dewburst~

She desperately wanted him to get away from here, but she knew it would be futile to try and urge him away. She glanced at Birdsong, wishing she could help Dewburst. After all, it seemed that he knew more about herself than she did.]

Even after my mirror's been shattered...Dicekit+++++++++++++++++++++++++ [Dicekit looked around her, mainly focusing on doveflight. How could all these cats not feel the prickling anxiety of a murderer's life dangling so easily? Dicekit sighed, and looked at the entrance of camp. Suddenly, a pair of silver eyes glowed, and a tabby she-cat burst into camp. Doveflight, with all the batting, had finally lost her grip and fell, yowling in fear as she descended down, down, down....into the she-cat. Safely. Dicekit felt herself utterly confused. There, the she-cat helped Doveflight, who was perfectly fine.] "You okay?" [The newcomer asked. Doveflight nodded her head.] "Good." [The newcomer smiled a little, before whapping her paw across Doveflight's face, leaving a big spout of blood to erupt between the infected queen's eyes. Doveflight wheeled back, her eyes wide. she fell onto a sitting position, breathing raggedly as crimson poured from her face.] "who....is that?" [Spadekit asked in a whisper.] "I don't know...but she's amazing. Saving a cat that quickly..." [Dicekit stared. The she-cat quickly turned and struck out her paws at Doveflight, knocking the queen around. Finally, Doveflight fought back. The queen aimed for the area she was leaking from on the rival's face, but missed, her claws raking over the newcomer's left side of her face. The she-cat yowled in pain, and gave a sharp bite to Doveflight's front leg. The queen slammed down the newcomer's head, but the she-cat was quick. She actually took in Doveflight's paw in her mouth and bit it, hard. Doveflight let out a cry, flailing her injured paw about, letting go of the tabby. The tabby tackled her over, and pinned her down.] "Your time is over, Doveflight. I refuse to let you live!" [Doveflight snorted, and nipped at the tabby's nose, that instantly swelled in blood.] "You don't know me, Foxdung!" [ The tabby snarled.] "I know enough." [Doveflight wriggled free, running towards the entrance. With that, the tabby she-cat threw a sharp, long stone into the air, snatched it midway as she leaped, and shoved if viciously into Doveflight's chest from the back, pinning her down. Doveflight let out a choking gasp, the rock now through her completely. The infected queen let out one last cry, her bloodshot eyes going misty.
Doveflight was dead.]
...I still see the reflection.
