Lance Fulgurant But I'm going to become the master swordsman of... well everything, that's my goal at the moment, learn every sword-style, because that would be epic, so yeah, when Fordon gets back, and we've done our mission and I've visited the wolves and all that fun stuff, I'm going to have to convince fordon to train me Eh, but that defeats the purpose of having different sword styles. Besides, the hidden-mist style is a more taijutsu/weapon style, not purely blade based. Not to mention it doesn't even use a sword. It also requires in a sense that you become a hunter-nin at LEAST in part. And if you want to be one of the M7, you can't exactly do both ya know? I've refrained from learning it for that exact reason, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to for people who need training in it to get to higher levels.

Why can't one be a member of the mist 7 swordsmen and be trained in the ways of the hunter-nin, kinda like Zane did in new-gen

Zane Hajime Way to post an rp post on the OCC thread rofl stare My laptop put itself in "offline mode" and decided to post both of my latest posts in the same area. And the only reason you can even come NEAR me now Zane is because you abandoned your puppet RPC in Suna (which would die ever so quickly.) But maybe I should just kill you now and save myself the trouble hmmmmm? @Lance: Well Zane knew it because...well he created it. I knew it and didn't use it at all and I find that swordsman are not the "silent" type anyway. There's a difference between a hunter-nin, and a trained swordsman. I'm just having difficulty with believing that not only would a true swordsman feel it unnecessary to skulk around in the shadows instead of the true head-on approach, but with genin learning two styles at once. Perhaps at jounin, but I'm pretty strict on this since I don't feel like having overpowered shinobi......and this should go for ALL villages in my opinion. In the Naruto-verse, genin stuck to one style and trained until it was basically mastered (usually jounin stage) before picking up another. I just don't think anyone below genin rank should have more than two styles learned because of how much focus it would take to do that. Sorry for the rant.

It's fine, I understand, so I can't learn infinite one or anything until jounin? I assume I'll get to learn my own Butoukai Sono Raijin since I made that up, right?

In theory, no. But I'd be more inclined to teach that to you at chuunin than to teach you the hunter-nin style since that is more of a sword affiliated weapon style. And yes, you created it so I think you earn that right.
