"Nice to meet you, Lila and Lucine." Lentil said with a meek nod. "Um, but don't you think everyone attacking it at once could be dangerous? I wouldn't want to get in the way of a powerful attack, no way, nuh-uh." The sandshrew was trying to sound helpful, but mostly he was afraid of that very thing happening. "Maybe, um, maybe if we tried in succession to weaken it?" The little gears in his brain started turning a little faster. "Isn't there something, um, something that if you hit metal with cold and then heat it gets brittle? Or is it the other way around...?" Feeling silly he couldn't remember, Lentil hung his head.

Lila hissed at Daybreak, still trying to get the door open. "Well excuse me if we're at least trying to get something productive done, other than sitting on our behinds waiting for someone else to do everything for us, unlike some other people," she glared, tiny fangs bared before thereafter ignoring the espeon, concentrating on the door.

"Nice to meet you Lentil," she said as well, before reaching up and trying to slide a claw between the door and the frame, right next to the handle. She'd seen open doors before (who hadn't?) and noticed the thing inside that clicked. If she could click it, maybe the door would open? But it was really hard to try and fit her claw in there, it probably wouldn't do anything and she didn't expect it to. But at least she was trying.

Merlin stared at the door, recognizing only the pink Eevee his trainer had cooed over during the walk here. "I'd help, really I would," the Misdreavus said in an unusually blunt tone, "but I'm afraid I would have all the impact force of a single downy feather of a Psyduck, if that." Merlin sighed and instead watched the pokemon working on the door boredly. If he had arms, he would cross them. As it was, he didn't, so he was forced to float silently as the other pokemon pushed the door. Oh well, it was better than nothing.

Jaidev waited to see what Lila could do. Perhaps Lila would be succesful in reaching the latch that kept the door shut. Besides it wouldn't do her any good to smash the sneasel anyways trying to get the door open. Lila had been kind to her.

Turning to the other two she gave them a nod. "When you're ready for me to try smashing the door a bit with my club let me know." In the meantime she was going to watch her pokeball and wait.

Hmm… Lentil had a very good point with that, Lucine had to admit. But Lila had a good idea too! Now that Lucine thought about it, she vaguely remembered seeing her Alastair once close something and then turning a key in the funny hole. Maybe this door would have something similar? But it looked like Lila’s claws were too thick to work for this.

“Does anyone have anything… I don’t know… long and thin that could fit in here? Umm… could everyone look around a bit and look for something of that nature? Otherwise, I think Lentil’s got the right idea. We should all take turns attacking. Um… but no fire. That would melt it, right? And then we’d just be stuck in here with a big puddle of melted metal. Ice attacks sound good. Or just hitting it with something…”

She trailed off lamely, since battling really wasn’t her thing at all.

Daybreak's tail twitched in irritation as she turned to face the Sandshrew and the other Pokemon at the door.

"Productive? In case you haven't heard, the lock is connected to an alarm system. If it gets broken in any way, all the Rockets will come swooping down on us and we'll be stuck in our Pokeballs again. The only way we can break free is by using a computer like what Menudo's doing. So sure, if you count getting caught again as productive, be my guest."

She snarled and flung something heavy at the Rockets to surpress the anger rising inside her.

Hrmph, no good; her claws were too thick to fit in there. So much for that idea. She took a step back, ready for Jaidev to try and bash the door in. "You mean a key, Lucine? A long thin little thing they put in the door to open it? They wouldn't have any of those down here, plus I don't think this door would open for a key," she said thoughtfully. They usually didn't, unless they were really old doors. Most of the Rocket technology she'd seen were connected to the doors.

"Attacks sound good," she said, backing up a bit more and making sure Lucine and Lentil were out of the way too. "Jaidev, you can start. Try and hit the door with your boneclub, but don't hurt yourself." That was the last thing they needed; someone getting hurt from trying to open the stupid door.

User ImageLentil frowned at the Espeon. "But if they came down here," He muttered quietly, more to his own chest than to anyone in particular, "wouldn't they have to come through that door? Then the door would be open and we could escape."

Jaidev growled at Daybreak, getting irritated by her attitude. "More rockets for us to smash their heads in. All the better for me. But keep doing what you're doing. It's so helpful." She then turned her attention to Lila and the door. Going over to the Sneasel, she handed over her pokeball, and not to happy about it either. "No one is to touch it. Don't drop it. Don't set it down. Anything." she growled at Lila, planning a great deal of revenge if the Sneasel failed to follow those instructions.

Turning now to the door, she gripped her bone club with both hands and peered at the door. Working along the side where the latch was would be a good starting point. She swung backwards with the club, and with all of her might she swung as hard as she could at the door, repeating the swing a few times. After she smashed at the door for a bit, she stepped back to catch her breath and let the others work at it.

After biting into the Rocket member’s leg for a good amount of time, Harpo let go and petted his grumbling belly. It was time for food again. This whole adventure had been far too exciting for him and he was getting rather tired of it. It was messing up his eating schedule big time that’s for sure.

As he followed the scent of food he wondered if anyone would notice if he slipped off on his own and found his way out of the building. He knew he was supposed to be there for his rental trainer but surely there were enough pokemon scattered about the place for at least someone to rescue her in his place.

While everyone was busy with the rockets, Harpo grabbed as much food as he could carry and hurried off to find another way out.

((Just a post to explain why Harpo has gone, so I can start RPing with my new Poochyena (Thanks again Nana! ^w^ heart )
I think I’ll add Harpo to my quest list too XD I seriously love that chubby rattata lol heart ))

Nodding obediently, the dark-type took the Marowak's pokeball and held onto it while she attacked the door. Huh, it hadn't broken yet but at least it had a few good sized dents now. She nodded her head as she gave back the pokeball. "Good job, Jaidev. Let me see if I can get it open now, although I don't think I can.." She said, walking over and reaching up to try and jiggle her claw between the door and the frame to reach the lock. She tried for a few moments but soon gave up with a sigh. "No good. It's wider than before but I can't get my claw in there to click it."

Hmm, what to do now? She wasn't entirely sure, and she didn't think scratching the door with her claws would do anything. Drat. "Anyone else have any ideas for attacks to use next?" The dark-type inquired, turning golden eyes on the other three pokemon.

“An alarm system? Well, there are ways to get by alarm systems… can’t he just use the computer thingy to shut them all down? Or I…we can use our psychic pokémon to try and dismantle it? I do not want to count on him for everything. Besides, if they come down here, the door will be open. And we overpowered them once! We can do so again! And stop that! Don’t hurt them any more! Enough violence has been done!” Lucine was not, by nature, a violent creature, but all of this hurting… it was starting to get on her delicate little nerves. Her fur floofed out, making her appear to be a pink puffball with eyes. Not exactly the most intimidating thing around.

She glared at the espeon and desperately wished that there was something that they could actually do. Sitting around and waiting was all she had done when she was trapped in that dratted crystal just a year back. And she was tired of waiting around like a damsel in distress for someone else to help. Now was the time for them to help themselves.

Other attacks? Umm… Trying to calm herself, Lucine wrapped her fluffy tail around herself daintily. A glance around at the group didn’t help at all. An eevee, a sandshrew, a sneasel, and a marowak… not exactly the strongest lineup. Quick! What was weak against door types? “Umm… anyone have any ice attacks?”
