Elrothiel's sword was out before Amara hit the ground. Worried she might be, but it only made her more defensive than ever - she couldn't help Van if she was killed by something while looking for water. She pointed the sword at the stranger, in no mood to take chances. "Who are you?" She demanded, none too gently.

Tyson raised an eyebrow, leaning on his elbows now as he noticed something fly past in the sky. He got to his feet, turning his head as the thing flew faster. Nessa was asleep and he did not want to wake her knowing she would have a rough time entering sleep again, so he kept himself quiet as he walked around the boundaries of the campsite, unsure of the flying thing.

"The other way." Elrothiel said. "You were flying towards Rohan." She withdrew her sword a little, laying it down as she stopped to fill her canteen from the stream. She stoppered it and stood up again. Deciding that Amara wasn't a threat, she sheathed her sword again. "What's happening?" She asked, with a sinking feeling. Was this going to turn out to be part of the warning from her dream?

Stepping back as the Uruk Hai kept going, falling on a rock. As it fell, Ranu slammed his sword into its throat, then pulled it out, flinching at the pain from his bloody calves. "Damn it. I'm a fool. i could have kept going, but instead I just had to try and keep people alive. People who've already forgotten me, I'd wager." He murmered.

A trio of Uruk's, one from the first one and two reinforcements, came up the hill, heading for Ranu. He glanced around as if expecing a joke. One down, 49 to go. He had a choice, leave and flee, leaving Rohan and his friends to face these guys, at the same time, or stay, buy time for them to get defence ready, whch would mean he would die. Put like that, theres little choice in the matter, Ranu thought, stepping back, hating himself. The Uruk's laughed coldly, thinking he was fearful, but he'd only stepped back for better purchace. Springing forward suddenly, the first Uruk was knocked down the hill again, to his comrades great amusement, while Ranu's blue sword flashed red as a Uruk was sliced through the neck while his head was back with the laughter. Spinning swiftly, his sword was countered by the other Uruk's sword. Here we go again. I just hope the winged girl is warning people. Dying in vain isn't my scene.

Time sped up as Ranu saw the kick coming. Leaping back, Ranu felt his hurt side, still raw, flaring up at the leap. Swearing, he glanced at his sword, contraiting on his old lessons, where he learnt to make the sword catch light. As he retreated slowly, the sword blade grew warmer, until it would melt butter by touching it. Rushing forwards, limping slightly, Ranu guided the sword through a two handed strike that cut clean through the Uruk, from the heat. With a fttt noise, the heat died. As he spun, his heart sank. The rest of them were coming. Play time was over. 47 to 1 odds. I like 'em. Drawing ina breath, Ranu turnt and fled, grabbing his bow and quiver as he did. He heard booted stepps behind him as he drew an arrow back, span and fired it at a Uruk. Spinning to run again, Ranu cursed. He could never out run these things. Putting the bow over his back, in the quiver, Ranu held the sword firmer, Looks like this is the final dance of Ranu Blackheart, child of the icy north.

Jade had her herbs in a make shift mixing bowl she made from half of a large melon, one of the food items she had traded for her horse. She couldnt cast magic on the wounded man untill she had the water to make the past to put on his wounds.
