((continued))
The flame shot through Jabezrien without seeming to harm it. It stared at Colin coldly. "This is not for you to have. It was entrusted to me. Leave now," it told him in clipped tones. "Ha! What happened to 'take it please I beg you'? I came for the cloak, and I'm not leaving without it." The elemental frowned and suddenly Colin was being tossed about in the air like a rag doll. What? How--oh, right, air elemental. He clutched at his bookbag, trying to keep his spellbooks inside, as he desperately tried to think of a spell that would damage it. The fire didn't seem to have bothered it at all. No! I need something to keep it from bothering me.

"Do-fhaicsinneach sgiath!" he cast desperately. Just as he had hoped, an invisible bubblelike shield formed him, blocking him off from the main body of air. There was still enough air that Jabezrien could move him about, but not enough so that it could move him so roughly. Colin wished it would give up entirely. I'm going to be sick if I don't stop twirling around. "Oh?" it asked itself, looking puzzled. No doubt it was trying to figure out what was wrong with its powers. Colin's body chose that moment to throw up. Whe the vomit pooled at the bottom of the shield Jabezrien's pale eyes flashed with understanding. Great, he thought weakly, feeling somewhat better with an empty stomach, now it's going to figure out how to undo the spell.

To Colin's dismay Jabezrien attempted no such thing. In a blink of an eye it was inside the shield, right next to him, and it bit him! "Ow! Hey!" Before he could grab it, it had vanished and reappeared on the other side of him. It bit him again. "Ow! Quit it!" Damn, those teeth are sharp. I think I'm bleeding. When it reappeared on another side and bit him he managed to get hold of it, but it vanished again. As it kept blinking from one side to another, he realized it was using the cloak. Now that he'd gotten it into close combat, he needed it to hold still long enough for him to have a chance. Thinking quickly, the next time he got a chance to grab the elemental he covered its eyes. "Hey! No fair!" it cried in surprise before dematerialising through his grasp. It tried to blink further away, then realized it couldn't. Jabezrien spun around, then started laughing. "Oh! You removed my cloak. Yes, you get to keep it. Tell me, how did you know the cloak I tried to get you to leave with was an illusion? You couldn't have seen the real one on me--it's practically invisible while worn."

"I simply thought what I would do." "Really? Oh. You must have a lot of time on your hands. It took me a year to think up that trick." It passed back through the shield, but Colin let the shield down and fell to the ground. He didn't need the shield anymore. He'd won. He shakily put the cloak on before anything else could happen. He lay back on the grass and reviewed the information he had read on the second item in the book, the Puppet Sticks.

The sticks can control anyone for five minutes, but can only control someone against their will once a day. They will be aware they are being controlled, but not nescessarily know who or how. The page saying where the sticks were hidden was one of the missing ones, but it seemed to suggest Jabezrien might know. Might as well take a chance and ask him. "Jabezrien!" It turned back to him curiously. "Do you know where the Puppet Sticks are?" It scowled. "Why should I tell you?" "Why not?" Colin whidled. To his surprise, the elemental found that a reasonable arguement. "Oh, they were given to an earth elemental higher up the slope, but those earth types are always sleeping and somebody stole the sticks. Last I heard, they'd found their way into a museum."

"Really?" he asked in sheer amazement. Compared to the battle he'd just fought, robbing a museum would be easy. "Which museum?" Jabezrien pouted. "Not telling." "So now you're going to get difficult, hm?" Colin tried to rally himself. "Get me ice cream. Chocolate ice cream. Then I'll tell you," it explained. Colin stared at it. "Ice cream?" he repeated dumbly. "I want ice cream! Buy me ice cream!"

Swindle and the being who before introduced himself as The Librarian were locked in conversation, for Swindle's first test. Every time The Librarian said something, it was spelled out on the table in front of Swindle.

"Loch So."

"School."

"Sent us."

"Sunset."

"A cat rift."

Swindle paused. "...Artifact... C'mon, let me impress you already."

The Librarian looked a bit upset. "Handler Rep."

Swindle paused, thinking harder. After a few moments, he looked up. "I believe the word is Philanderer"

The Librarian narrowed his eyes. "A Bad Lithospheres Opposition Quip Moo Pop."

Swindle's jaw dropped a bit as he scanned the words spelled in front of him. Archaedin's voice echoed in his head.

The word is hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Thats the only word that could possibly fit.

Dear lord, say it again?, he thought to himself, hence Archaedin too.

Swindle started to speak. "Hippopotomonstro... sesquip... pedaliophobia...?"

The Librarian looked even angrier. "And this word means?"

Archaedin's voice echoed into Swindle's head once again.
Its the fear of really long words. Ironic, no?

"Its the fear of long words." He said, and then there was a long pause.

"Well, you passed. On to the next trial."

Swindle grinned as his normal wooden chair became high quality teak wood, with a nice polish.
((Once again, same as Desert Necromancer, to be continued. Having trouble thinking of the next one. I got a good idea how to finish it, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a way to get to this idea... I love puzzles.))

Ms. Lee melted into the floor, dodging the arrow. The arrow, hit the wall at the end of the room. The arrow entered the wall with no resistance, and phased completely through. Nothing happened... at first. A huge hole opened in the wall where the arrow had struck. The entire wall was engulfed in the hole. The entire room began to get pulled into it. The dopleganger smiled.

"You know how to combine the items?" The copy asked rhetorically.

A black bolt of lightning shot at the copy. She Shot another arrow strait at the lightning, the arrow absorbed the attack and shot into the floor. Each tile shot into the air. Ms.Lee jumped from the celling and attacked the clone from overhead. The clone's vision went black and red. Ms.Lee's image exploded into falling cherry blossom petals.

"i can read your mind!" The clone teased. She clapped her hands, and the illusion stopped. The celling collapsed and the clone stood there as the debris fell on top of her.

Both Ms.Lee and her clone burst from rubble. Ms. lee puller out her arrow and pulled back. The arrow left the bow in a beam of light. The beam of light shot into five individual beams of light. The lights each shot in a different direction and approached the clone at different angles.

The sky went red and the building went black. The beams of light turned to pillars of sand. They slowly disintigrated into the wind. The clone spun her hand in a circular motion. Ms.Lee was caught in a current of debris. The stone and marble swirled into a a long python. The giant snake constricted Ms.Lee. He body gave way and exploded in a fountain of blood and intestines.

"That was it!" Ms.Lee laughed as her body shot behind her clone's. "Sepeku!" She yelled. She pulled a platnum staff from her back. The staff was built in levels that looked like pipes, meaning, it could extend about 4 times it unactive length. The spear entered both MS.Lee and her clone.Ms.Lee planted the sharp black end into the ground. The metal pipes shot out of the end of the staff, into the sky and circled around the two. There were three metal spears floating around. One more shaft shot half way out of the staff like an entenna. The floating spears zoned in on the entenna and shot towards it like a magnet. They cut all that was in the way, including Ms.Lee and her clone. Dark clouds filled the sky, and one final bold of black lightning shot to the staff which acted like a lightning rod. Everything in its path was completely destroyed. The building was completely destroyed. The mountain it once stood on was completely leveled.

Ms. Setsuka sat in the glass globe. She looked over at Esmerelda's body. The girl's body began to peel off. "What is!, oh no!" Ms. Setsuka yelled.
The skin completely peeled off revealing Ms.Lee. She smiled as she stood up from the bed and walked to he desk to place the new item down.

"You killed her before she was fully alive again?" Ms. Setsuka asked in complete disgust.

"It was the only way I could kill myself. I would have suspected everything but suicide. My clone did not expect suicide because I would have never done it. I used Esmerelda's body to copy my appearance and power. That way I could fake suicide." She explained. She snapped her fingers, and there was Esmerelda's new synthetic body, lying on the bed. "I was only a few days into the spell. "What is one more week?" She asked.

Another week they can train and kill you! Ms.Setsuka thought.

"I heard that."

"I wanted you to!"

Myia sighed. "I should drain his butt." SShe crossed her arms and turned around. "Yep, but he's not, no matter how hard he trys... He should just stop and just plain try without killing himself." She hissed.

Ialo was in the student lunge, obsessively pacing back and forth. He wasn't angry, no. If he were angry, there would be shimmering heat waves in the air, but no. He had no more energy to be angry. He was nervous. It showed in his twitching hands and furrowed brows, and frenzied walk. That, and in the tiny ice crystals were forming in the air around him.

His mother told him 'she would see him again soon'.
