Kilik sighed and looked back at the judge. "Murder of the Silph Corporation President..." he clicked his tongue, "Why? Why would a boy your age do such a thing?" The boy was silent.
"Answer the question," barked the baliff. Still, there was no response.
"Kilik, answer the question. It's not as if you have a choice," his 'lawyer' whispered. The boy sighed.
"Pressure, your honor," he held his head up high. The judge raised an eyebrow.
"Pressure? From whom?" Judge Ishida leaned foreward slightly. Kilik took a deep breath.
"I was a member of Team Rocket," there was a loud gasp from the group once more, "The leader, Giovanni, told me I could kill him..." Kilik wiped a faint tear from his eye, "I hate failure...I felt that if I didn't...I would fail in the Leader's eyes." The judge sighed.
"Your honor, it is his first offense," the lawyer explained. There was an uproar from the crowd.
"Who cares?!" barked one.
"It was murder!" hissed another. The gavel banged loudly.
"I will have ORDER in this court!!" yelled the judge, turning red in the face, "Now then...you said pressure? You didn't want to kill him, right?" Kilik shook his head, his black hair spilling over his eyes. A 'boo' rose up from the crowd. "But you did it...in honor of the Jello-varni person?" the judge whispered.
"Giovanni, your honor," Kilik corrected. The judge looked at the girl who was quickly typing away on her typewriter. The man then looked at the boy.
"So, as a member of Team Rocket, you must be a trainer?"
"Yes, your honor. A Flareon and a Koffing." he nodded.
"Ahh..." the judge pulled a Pokeball from his robe and released a very strong looking Alakazam.
"Ala...kazam..." it whispered.
"Kazzy," the judge said, "Interrogate his Pokemon, please?" The Alakazam nodded and approached Kilik. The boy released his fire and poison Pokemon and let them disappear into the corridor with the Psychic. The Flareon gave a depressed look before it left.

Jenna, Inferno and Belle left the Pewter City police station just in time to catch the beginnings of an afternoon downpour. Dashing through the rain, they ran towards the Pokecenter and a warm lunch at top speed but still managed to get thouroughly soaked. Even Belle, riding in Jenna's packsack, got seriously wet in the deluge. High-pitched grumbling noises were coming from the bag as Jenna and Inferno paused at the entrance to the Pokecenter to wring out and shake off under the underhang before entering. The last thing either of them wanted was to slip on a wet floor and take another tumble that day. Jenna turned to Inferno went to slip an empty pokeball off of her belt and realized that she didnt' have one! She had used her last free pokeball to catch her pidgey Sandy days ago. Shaking her head, she sighed and looked out into the rain.
I can't have him running loose inside...I'll have to go out and take him with me to the pokemart. She looked at the drenched fire-puppy who was pawing gently at the door to the pokecenter, desperately wanting to get inside and get dry. "Sorry there, chum, but we need to go back out into the rain for a few more minutes. I need to get a pokeball for you!" The growlithe stopped pawing at the door and looked at her, whining plaintively. "I know, it's wet and miserable, and I dont' want to go out there either, but we dont' have much choice. Nurse Joy wont let you run around without a pokeball because without one, you dont' really belong to me yet. You do want to be mine, right? she asked a tad nervously. She hadn't considered that the pokemon might not want her. Inferno sat down on his haunches and seemed to ponder that for a moment. Did he want to belong to this strange smelling girl and her compelling clefairy?

Nina stopped walking for a moment as she heard her name being called. She turned around to see a figure running toward them.
"Oh no!" she said. "Sasha!" Nina sprinted towards Sasha, feeling absolutely horrible that she had forgotten her in Vermillion City.
She reached Sasha and apologized repeatedly.

"I'd like that very much, I can't wait!" Mike grinned, looking out on the ocean, a thought popped into his head. "You are so luckey Mitsu, you know that? Karrie can totally destroy all of Brawly's Pokemon, I need to have a stragedy. Well, unless his Pokemon are weaker ((LIKE IT SAYS IN TEH STRAGEDY GUIIIIIDE! Omg I overpower him by lots.)) then I'm all set."
Same to you, in fact, this is the first time I've seen you in your new form! Shiver hopped closer to further inspect the Kirlia, rather impressed. Cool!
Thanks Ivy, at least someone here has respect. Nitro glared at Shiver, then shrugged it off, letting him have his fun.
Proton happily flew around Ebony, electricity surging through his body. I'm going to evoooollllve, I'm going to evooooolllveee!

Her moopy attitude disappeared at the mention of the gym battle. "Yeah. I can't wait till she eveolves and learns Psychic." Mitsu said. "Although I may use Ebony on his first Pokemon. I think he's ready to evolve."
Really? I thought you already saw me like this once before. She posed for him and then laughed it off. It was much fun to recieve all this attention.
Well I wouldn't want to get on your bad side. Ivy replied.
Mitsu says I will evolve soon too. Ebony said. Both seemed ready to see thier newer, stronger forms.

After about an hour or so of walking, Kasiya reached a beach. It looked like it had been trodden on recently, there were footprints all over the place. She looked around, but no one could be seen at all. She walked out along the beach, breathing the salty air and sighing deeply. "It smells like Vermilion," she said aloud, then stopped. She had just up and left everyone without telling them where she had gone. She reached up and touched the lighting shaped pendant around her neck. Why hadn't they told her? After all the time she spent inside that stupid gym! Why hadn't she figured it out? And who else knew? Kasiya reached down and grabbed a rock, and threw it out into the water as hard as she could. She kicked the sand, stomped her foot, and shouted as loud as she could. Then she sank to her knees and started to sob.

Sasha crossed her arms and pouted. "Must not have left a good impression then huh? Hmph." She let out a snort of annoyannce. "You know what I had to do to get on that train? I followed you two into the crod of people and saw you talking to that boy, and then you dissapeared and I saw you darting off towards the train. I went to grab my ticket cut somoene bumped into me and it flew off! I looked frantically for it, basically crawling on my hands and knees while that commotion was going on! When I finally found it, a stupid Pidgeotto snatched it from my hands! I cursed at him and tossed a rock or two, but he got away!" Sasha had her fists clenched, visably shaking in rage. "When I finally got to the station, I had to flirt with that ninty year old ticket checker to just get on the train! By the time I got on the freakin' thing, you guys were no where to be found! I looked and looked but some idiot stopped me because 'the train was moving so it wasn't safe to move from car to car'. So then I caught a glance of you two getting off the train in this Yuriteck City, and I have only been to New Bark Town and I'm so lost, but how dare you leave me behind! All I wanted to do was be your friend and you ditch me!" Tears welt up in her eyes as she broke down and started to cry.
"Why can't I ever find anyone that likes me?!" Sasha crumbled on the ground and sobbed, apparently used to rejection.

Nina kneeled down in front of her, getting soaking wet as the rain got heavier and it began to get windy. "Sasha... I'm very, very sorry. I was just in such a rage because of that man that I was talking to, plus a whole bunch of other stuff that's happened..." She let out a sigh.
"Believe me, it wasn't because of you that I left. In truth, you're a very special person and I'm sure you'd make a great friend." Nina half-smiled. "So... would it be okay if we started over? Just pretend none of that had ever happened?"

"A Gardevoir, seems fitting for someone like you, all elegent and beau-" Mike subtly stopped himself and blushed. Wow, you ARE smooth, moron. He thought. "Really? A Haunter, oh man, I love those Pokemon, they are so cool looking!"
I must have been half asleep, luckey you with your appendages, I can't pose! Shiver struggled and flailed around, in attempt to strike a unique position, but ended up failing miserable.
Oh, don't worry about me, I'm a nice Charmeleon when you get to know me! Nitro laughed, suddenly feeling easier about being on a boat.
I hope I'm there to see it, I bet your new form is really cool! Proton gleefully floated around, glad to see his floaty friend again.
