So, I am going to plug my Quest again, since I've significantly altered the plot of it.

I realized lolol get rich probably wouldn't draw in most of Levi, and in retrospect probably wouldn't draw in the maximum potential of awesome characters. I've thus made it deeper, and basically revealed some stuff that I was going to reveal at the start.

So amended, haha. 3nodding Hopefully I spark some more interest, I'd love to get it off of the ground.

a x a = a^2

a x b = ab

b x a = ab

b x b = b^2

So: a^2 + ab - ab - b^2 simplifies into a^2 - b^2

Because the () are multiplication, and multiplying a x a and b x b gives you a^2 and b^2 and when multiplying a - x a +, the + becomes a -.

Why do I remember this?

I'm not sure why this math book didn't just explain it like that.

It justs says 'Special Products' and lists the answers without showing how it got there.

If you're going to put the negatives in the multiplication instead of using them afterward you also need to apply it to the last part as well.
