Lance walked up to Nathan and Kikyo, mainly to Nathan... "I'm sure you had a run in with Abyss, glad to see you and I are on the same page, about putting an end to Abyss's plans and saving Scarlett." He said looking at them both, The concept of that Nathan was there in the Abyssal Realm, brought Lance to the concusion that he wasn't the only one after Abyss... "Don't worry Kikyo We'll find away to get her back, but you must stay focus and hopeful..." He said crossing his arms.

Jaymison ((Alright, I've waited long enough, heaven is sitting on its a** and we're all just meandering around, I hear about a big war happening but so far I fail to see anyone deliver. Since I could give a ******** less on whether or not I piss any of you off I'm going to have to say, If no one will make a move then I will...)) Dusk had set on the eastern side of earth. The residents calmly retreating to their homes, eager to fill their stomachs with a mothers meal and discuss of the the next day. Night overtook the east and the men and women of the world slept. Pleasant dreams of glory, fame, and riches occurred in some, while others dreamt of love and peace. Dawn finally began to come over the horizon, the sun a cheerful reminder of a new day. But the sun brought with it more than just a new day. In the sky, just under the clouds, a monstrous looking object floated towards the city. A solitary man had awoken from his bed, heading out from his loft to greet the morning. This man had a history, a wife and child, and a happy future ahead of him. Yet as he looked towards the sky, what seemed to be a flying fortress composed of rock and carved stone, changed that. Within minutes of the man spotting the fortress, he had calmly walked back into the house, kissing the cheek of his beloved, and walking into the room of his son. "Hi dadda" the young child cooed, having woken up from the sound of his father entering the room. The man said nothing, merely holding his son in a tight embrace, tears streaming from his face, knowing that the future he had hoped for his child would never come to be now. The fortress hovered above the city, and then, light....
A lone Arieus stood at the base of the fortress, marveling at the firepower of the vessel he occupied,"Sir, the extermination has begun, reports from the other 50 carriers confirm that the cities have been nullified. what are your next orders sir?", he spoke into what seemed to be a rune'd stone.
"Spread out in Beta formation. Leave no human alive. The king wishes to build us a new home. We must build our living on the backs of the dead..."
below the floating fortress, the city was gone, now merely a flat land of earth. The Arieus had begun their march to war.[-attempt to jump into the story-] ♠
"............."
Several miles away from the destruction, a cloaked man watched everything silently. The warm gusts of wind from the blast raced towards him and pulled at his cloak wildly as he stood firm. His blue eyes peered over a pair of shades while the rest of his face remained wrapped within his cloak. Certainly the display of power was impressive yet it had not drawn a reaction from the cloaked man nor had the army that had begun to march onward.
It had been far too long since the half-angel had remained silent about the war and even longer since he had clearly picked a side to fight on. Many times he had joined forced with all sorts of demons more times than fellow angels. Of course he was not truly an angel so he had no feeling of loyalty to the divine. This time would be different, though. To help restore balance to the world, the half-angel would lend his skills to Heaven. Although he was not officially a part of Heaven's forces, the cloaked man would not hesitate to make clear his standpoint.
"........"
As the gust subsided and the dust settled, the half-angel flipped the hood of his cloak back to expose his blonde hair and ageless complexion. The man appeared within his 20's but the years of his life had stretched much further than that. The curse of having angelic genes, some might say if they were once human. Aside from his face, not much else showed past his cloak. His aura was small and barely noticeable among humans at the moment and it would stay that way for now. Although there would be a smaller but unique pulse of energy coming from him. The hilt of a weapon could be spotted behind the man's shoulder but the cloak made any other features difficult to observe.
Looking up to the sky, the man took in the beautiful view and savored the fresh air around him. Even in a crisis it was important to appreciate the small things in life. The small things that made life colorful and easier to look back on. It was up to this man, Light to make today worth it.
Light's left hand slipped into his pants pocket to fondle the small golden coin he always carried with him. It had little value unless one believed misfortune to be of worth. The small golden coin was believed to bring misfortune, "bad luck" to those who carried on to it. This half-angel would welcome any and all luck for the simple reason that he didn't believe in it. Misfortune could always be turned into something good. Today was no different, even as he seemingly stood alone before this army.
"...........Heh." ♠

Nathaniel lightened up a little but his face was still painful. "of coarse i do. i want him dead. he has caused my family too much pain and holds our daughter hostage. I despise that man." his voice was harsh as he spoke. he did not feel like being around anyone other than his fiancee. he just wanted to be alone with her

Nathaniel nodded his head and wrapped his arms around her. Leaning next to her ear he whispered. "can we just be alone for awhile. i miss you" his voice was a little worried and yet seducing.
Jeohin smiled down at her. "of coarse we are. this is an angel camp." as he finished he leaned down and kissed her

"No not right now. More things are going on." Kikyo whispered back.
Emily looked up but started to move out of the bed a little. "I don't know if I'm ready still."

((I gotta update her profile since I'm apparently making my char neutral again...didn't think id take her back to hell but whatever))
Shina sighed, just getting through explaining to the new gatekeeper why she had gone for so long. The gatekeeper to hell probably didn't know anything about the world she was from. He was too young and obviously hadn't been told much. She walked to her old house. The school behind the main building that was also her home was bustling with students that would be gone within moments. She walked inside and all heads turned at her aura. She heard a slamming door and a little boy ran into the room and into her open arms. She smiled brightly and hugged her son tightly.
She picked him up and looked at his smiling face. "I hope that you've taken good care of your godfather." She said formally, although the smile was leaking through her words.
The boy nodded. "Jenkin is at the school. Where's Daddy?"
Shina was silent for a moment. "He still has to stay away for a little while."
A little girl ran down the stairs. "Luc!" She called and froze when she saw Shina. She bowed from across the room. "H-hello madame."
Shina smiled at the girl and put Luc down, watching him run over to her and try to pull her closer by the arm. "No formalities. Surely your father told you that about me." She said, surpressing a laugh.
The little girl shook her head no and gave into Luc pulling her over. Her eyes looked like she was ready to flee at the sight of a new person. "I'll go fetch Father." She said abruptly and ran from the room.

"...........Heh." ♠ Jeohin smiled down at her. "its ok. i wont rush anything for you. I'm sorry if i seem that way. i guess i am quite arrogant sometimes" He said matter-of-factly. though he was extremely arrogant.
At that moment a messenger came rushing in, out of breath but as he saw the angel and his guest he turned around and fell over, crawling out.
"forgive me sir for interrupting sir." The angel said still catching his voice. "But a human city has been completely destroyed and lays in ruin. A supposed new force has been brought into the equation. Orders are being awaited sir." He spoke through the tent
Jeohin kissed Emily and got up extremely fast. "im sorry love, but it seems some things have come up." without giving time to reply he walked out the flap of the tent and turned to a different messenger. "tell everyone in the camp to tighten our guard and go on red alert." The messenger ran off to spread the news as everyone broke out into a helter skelter rush.
The general then turned to see Noctis sitting nearby. "Noctis your coming with me." After that he glared at the messenger "take us to where you spotted this force" he demanded. Then the angel took off into the air and Jeohin followed expecting Noctis to follow((Just so you know Jeohin is second in command of Heaven))

Emily got up from the bed and fixed it for him when he came back. She pulled her hair back and poked her head outside the camp to see what the angels were doing. Going back in she found paper and ink and wrote a note. I'm sorry, but it seems that your angel's need you alot more than I do. You have a job to carry out, and I'm in the way. You're great, and I feel like I'm just getting between you and you're job. I'll be leaving, hopefully it'll just make it easier for you. Your's Truely, EmilyShe placed the note on the pillow and snuck out of the tent. Then she snuck out of the camp undetected, since all the angel's were in a frantic. Running back home, she was feeling guilty of what she did, but she was all ready too far to turn back. Once she got home, she walked through the front door and smelt the familiar air that made her smile.

Jeohin and his messenger appeared on the site of the destruction. The land was a barren wasteland and all that could be seen were the opposing forces of the enemy. The General judged by the destruction that this was indeed the beginning of the war and this was an official attack.
The dark angel looked to the messenger. "well it seems the war has finally begun. its about time. i need you to send word to heaven immediately and alert them that the war has indeed begun and to get our forces ready. for we open a counter offensive at the break of dawn. since the closest angel fortification is the camp have them rally there."
With that the angel nodded and vanished in order to deliver the generals message. After that Jeohin turned around and flew back to the angel camp. the sun had begun to set by the time he had gotten back and the camps forces and size had nearly quadrupled from incoming reinforcements.
He savored this period of action since no one stopped for formalities and saluted him. also he enjoyed the smell of war in the air and soon the anticipated stench of blood.
After sending some scouts to monitor the enemies movements he headed back to his tent to check on Emily. When he swung open the tent his heart jumped in fear when he didnt see her face. His eyes focused on the note on his pillow. Hesitantly he walked over and slowly lifted the paper as it bent from the slight movement.
As he read the note his heart squeezed and sank into his stomach. his midnight wings and pitch black hair seemed to become a deeper and darker color. The angel crumpled the note and threw it away. left...again my heart lies in shards. he thought in his mind. dark brooding thoughts brewed in his head.
Fate began to glow a deep scarlet color, eager for war and bloodshed. Jeohin used what he learned from Shina to calm the blade. Then he turned to leave the tent, forgetting everything that would distracted him. Going out to face the war on the horizon with a merciless iron fist. Heavens first attack would blow this new enemy into oblivion.

As Emily sat at her laptop, typing up her new studies and research, a loud noise came from outside her house. She stood up and walked over to the window closest to the noise. There was a group of older teens, young adults, standing outside her home. And in a couple of their hands she realized they might have been drinking. But there was something else that caught her mind... there was cloth in the bottles and they were being lit. "Oh no." They threw the bottles into her home, immidiately causing a fire.
"Witch! Witch! Witch!"
Confused, she quickly exited her house from the back, then she realized that her laptop with all of the information she's collected was still inside. It was too late, it would be suicide if she went back for it. Her house exploded, throwing her many yards away from her once house. As she picked her head up, the answer laid in front of her, front page of a newspaper that headlined 'Witch in the City' as she skimmed through it, it basically said that since she had contact with the devil and all of the information she had that Emily was a witch.
She stood up and quickly ran away when a couple standing in the doorway to their backyard reconized her as 'The Witch'. As she ran into the forest, she felt that her chest was crushing. Asthma attack. Emily fell to the ground, unable to breathe, and laid there.

Jeohin felt his heart squeeze a little more than it had. He felt like he was being pulled towards the forest like something was going wrong. He began sprinting into the forest nearly as fast as light. not even a blur could be seen of his figure.
Then is the corner of his eye he saw it. the familiar shape of a human body on the ground. he ran right towards the person and fell to his knees sliding to the body. it was Emily. he picked her up and ran her back to the angel camp to the medical tent without stopping for questions.
Nathaniel sighed and looked at Lance while speaking to both of them. "so do we have any idea of what we want to do in order to stop Abyss and get Scarlett back?"
