No, I'm just surprised at the conversation that spawned from it.
And I'm immune to shame. I have an Anti-Shame Amulet.

Jarlaxle Baenre You should *so* make a D&D campaign. I don't think I remember you ever creating a roleplay... P.S. Goblins rule all. Eh, DnD is too structured. The rules are fun when you're playing tabletop, they just limit you in forum RP.

We needs us a roleplay... now that I think I can actually join one.
Too bad Snow died.
Val: That amulet is just a trinket in this anti magic field.

Don't you lok at me, I put hours of auxillary support into that RP, the result being that my next idea.... Well frankly it sucked. I haven't had anything good since. I do like the concept of using a D&D sans rules format though. Wherein one person acts a GM of sorts, playing the role of all malaligned forces while everyone else is some group working against said evildoers.

Perhaps all of us should brainstorm and create one mega roleplay. After all, we are viewed as snobby, assholish elitists by some of the other guilds.
Who, from our active lot, would be the GM though?
It has to be someone dependable as the whole campaign/roleplay revolves around their ability to control and be active. We could perhaps switch off once in a while...
Yar... I really want to see something D&Dish in here.

Anyone willing really Jar. I'm willing to pour my sweat and blood and tears into an RP, I just don't because we all seem to have RPADHD. I have numerous unwritten plots sitting scribbled on paper in my room, and each of them sheds a tiny little emo tear
As an aside: I can't remember whether voting switches off either tomorrow or Tuesday, but as an effort to actually do something with my Gaia gold, I threw the design you see on my avatar now into the Avatar Arena. Whenever it opens up, go and vote and make me happy. Tell your friends too. They are welcome to be as honest and brutal as they so choose, you, of course, are required to pander to my ego and give me a 10, because I will make you sad if you don't.
As a further aside: This effort to "do stuff with my Gaia gold" has been pretty hilarious. I threw my avatar into the ring at the expense of 1000g. I now have 2000g more than when I did so =/

Nyah ha!!! I ish back from my vacation at the beach!
Good food. Warm beds. Did wonders for me. Even though it was FREEZING. I had a good time lying around.
Anyways, a mega-RP sounds wonderful! xp I don't actually play D&D, but I do look at the books and such, so I know what it IS.... I'd like to do something fantasy based. But that's me....
Time to get to work on my RP.... seriously. I've been doing extra art and stuff all week for it, and I'm ready to put in some scans of environments and such. Just because I'm really visual with everything. mrgreen

I am watching the most hilarious episode of Venture Bros.
I have an idea for a modern/fantasy thing. It's sorta written up, but not nearly complete. It's set up similar to Snow, with "factions."
Aliens/Supernaturals/Whatever that call themselves immortal (but can die, just don't age) contact humanity in the 1970s (but the RP is set in 2007.) They have a significantly more advanced society, so they "take over" Earth, but instead of creating a dystopian hell, they put up the pretense of a benevolent dictatorship. Unknown to the public, the other beings contacting humanity "unlocked" magic potential in some gifted people.
Loyalists: Immortals + "Arbiters," humans with powers who sided with them. These humans manifest their powers by disguising them with "technology" making it look like they just have some really advanced weaponry or what have you. This is done to keep order in society, in case an average bystander sees what's going on. The immortals are trying to find an "artifact of power" in their society's legends said to be on Earth. This is unknown to humans.
Insurgents: Humans with powers who want to overthrow the immortals. Individually, they appear like common criminals and try to get their message out with things ranging from graffiti to high profile crime. Involved in organized crime. Insurgents don't rely on fake tech to use their powers, but this comes with the downside of the "forces of reality" kicking them in the pants if they abuse their power by backfiring their "spells" or inflicting injuries on them that appear to come out of nowhere.
It's a pretty bare shell, though. If someone else wants to take the idea and run with it, go ahead.

Voting is public on my avatar now. GO GO GO GO (Community > Arenas > Avatar > Search Soloist > Click 10) If you don't give me a ten I'll curl up in a tiny emo ball and write poetry. If you DO vote and I DO forcibly coerce you to give me a ten, I'll write RPs instead (read: I'll flesh out Lykus' ideas as a distraction tactic while I come up with something else).

Man. I wish Iron Realms made games that were easier to get into. Lusternia looks fantastic, but joining it now would be like being thrown into a business transaction in mid-deal involving billions of dollars, without any prior knowledge of the situation.
In media res only works for me when I know what happenes prior to the "media"

Apparently, the most winning feature of my avatar to date has been the annoying visual gltich I spent nearly an hour trying to correct. If anyone knows any other mobs of idiots infatuated with horrible glaringly offensive unintentional shades of green point them my way >.>

That's got to be the most annoying aspect of Gaian avatars. S'okay on you though. It vaguely matches your goggles. Doesn't look bad...
My RP is open! Hoorah! I'm going to add meh scans later!
