Kyoshi nodded as he went to the desk to place the documents for the trade that had been planned to be approached from the very beginning before hell was unleashed, literally, and with this ending to all of it. It was an ending to it all. First things were okay then it got heated with the complete manipulation of those select few who had their own personal vengeance upon the selected members of both sides from Lech to Kyin to Eri and right down to the b*****d who had ties to all of them, Sin.

He was glad to be rid of the angel; after all, the likes of him should have been put out of his misery to begin with. Then with the taste of hell breaking loose because of that fiend, both cities had seen up close the little things from hell. There was more to it than just those rubber zombies and flying creatures to the flesh eating spiders that almost ate him from the insides out had it not been for the efforts of Joker, Dusk and Eldin to help him out. It had been at that point in time that his life flashed before his eyes....It wasn't pretty. If he had died he had wanted to die the warrior way that he was taught from his birth in heaven and to not be able to tell Dusk he loved her above all and more than himself.

Now with Sin dead at the hands of Rave everything should have gone back to normal. The key word was should. Instead everything fell apart like fragile glass. Monty was lost to them, Rave and Gambler had a horrible falling out that managed to cause hell for everyone here over her choices until her own end. Yet....There was something he wanted to ponder on. Moving over to kiss Dusk on the cheek he headed to the door. "Yes, everything went well. Thankfully." Stopping at the door he looked over his shoulder at the most beautiful and incredible woman he has ever encountered. "I just need to be alone for a while alright?"

Not wanting for a reply, he quickly walked out of the office silently and went to find a place of solace. Making sure there was no one around to bother him, he walked out of the palace to walk about the gardens, taking up a winding path that lead as far as the eyes could see with a privacy of the most beautiful plants and flowers that grew around him. Truly it was a sight to behold, he thought to himself. Just like something was different if he wanted to look at it carefully. Finding a bench, Kyoshi sat down to lean on his thighs, dropping his head down to stare at the ground.

The angel's mind kept going around in circles at the circumstances about Monty and Gambler's death. It was still fresh for his great friend and partner in crime's death as if happened mere hours before, but still...Something was wrong. If Monty had truly died then the world would have changed to something of peace, even if it wasn't Gambler who did the demon in. Yet now with Gambler down and out, the world would have changed to him being that he along with the other two were the only three strongest of their kind. Unless there were others in hiding. Regardless, only God and the Devil surpassed them, hell God surpassed everyone. He was the Alpha and the Omega and the Supreme Being after all.

Shaking his head some, he thought again about these circumstances until they became familiar to him. It took a bit since all the crap that had been thrown everyone's way to get a grip on everything but now that he was taking a moment for himself he was thinking about it. It dawned on him that this, all this with Gambler and her laws had been nothing more than a ruse to leave them. After all Kyoshi had a life here now...But it didn't make sense why Gambler would go through all of that when she had Rave. Firstly he needed to know the exact details of what went on between them.

Then there was Monty. That demon was the most stubborn man in the entire world, no, the universe to kill yet he suddenly had succumbed to his injuries. Even if he had been through his own kind of hell that would have torn his mind it made no sense that he would be killed. It wasn't like....Well yeah he was poisoned with that blasted metal they all had a taste of but still. That demon had taken harder hits before and never died. No, there had to be more to it and if his instincts were correct, Monty's death was the start of something having been planned. If that was correct then he was fooled too.

Kyoshi didn't know why but he had his mind on so many other things that thinking on how odd it was that Monty died and the world hadn't gone into a peaceful era. Everything was still the same. Sighing softly he looked up at the sky with an emotionless look as if trying to find answers. He knew deep down that Gambler wasn't really what everyone assumed she was, especially with all these antagonistic fronts. The woman was a pusher. The woman pushed everyone that were in high power as well. Hell he had done it as well only because the last few times people had been in power it was because they were cruel and unusual fools who brought everyone and everything down. Empires lost just as the lives of those inhabiting them.

Yes now that he reflected on these memories and thoughts, that's exactly what Gambler had done. She was pushing Dusk. Pushing the woman to show her worthy of such a position and the elven queen was worthy. More worthy than anyone in the world. Even with him and Rave there, Dusk would have managed just fine. The woman had a backbone made of steel. Closing his eyes to the light, fragrant breeze, Kyoshi dropped his head down again. Gambler had been a most difficult person to deal with but that was all a front. After all what leader didn't have at least someone being difficult yet not handling it as great as Dusk? Even though it caused almost everyone to sharpen their swords and look at her with blood thirst his friend maintained an air of nonchalance and serenity.

There was sharpness to her that he failed to see because he didn't want to see Dusk upset. Yet now that he thought on it he knew without a doubt that if Gambler ever came back from the dead and everyone wanted to head he would stand up for her. The man would fight alongside his comrade and command everyone to stop with his power that he kept locked away inside him. For now, he would also keep these revelations to himself. After all, neither of these elves wanted to hear about Gambler and the theories behind all these events. They would think him such a loyal friend that he would excuse her and such. No, he would have done the same had things been opposite.

Only he wanted to know where Gambler had gone. For now he wanted to know what happened, the exact truth between her and Rave to garner such a horrible break up. He had thought Rave the perfect man to be the rock for the wild Gambler since they were complete opposite who attracted each other. Rave was this silent yet deadly type with calmness about him while Gambler was wild and up to living each day to the fullest no matter what. Then with the deaths of the Twins and the appearance of Sin, everything seemed to break her.

Without a doubt her insecurities had been her downfall with the most beautiful face she had ever seen on a man. But that was no longer here or there. The pain that radiated throughout the woman's body was extreme. Farther away than anyone would have imaged the very woman that Kyoshi was thinking about and vowing to keep her secret until it was the right time to come with it, which would be never if anyone had their way, was on a secluded island in the middle of the deepest blue water away from all civilization. The island was medium in sized with a part of it deep with jungle that surrounded a large volcano with smoke coming from it. It was an active volcano that never erupted with its liquid magma.

The way that was possible was because this was no ordinary island. This island belonged to demons that made it seem like a beautiful paradise for shipwrecked innocents to be food for the wild demons in the jungles and for all creatures having been captured for punishment. It was the worlds know death row for creatures to be punished in any deprived way possible. It was also known as The Pit. Everyone went in and no one came out. The prisons that held captives were deep inside the volcano where the heat was unbearable, breathing became a labor task while the guard, which were demons with small black horns, tails with a bit of hair at the end like a lion and red skin patrolled and punished all who lived there.

The female angel was a rare sight, especially when everyone knew who and what she was. It was perplexing to say the least when the woman came there on her own and willingly. Then again it was an honor to punish one of the best among their realm. It was there that they gave the woman the deepest and hottest part of the volcano. The woman went willingly already sweating profusely and feeling the dryness of her mouth as well as the sting of heat on her eyes. Already this was punishing.

Yet not as punishing as all she had done to others, herself and what had been done to her in return. This was heaven compared to the continuous agony in her chest that throbbed. At least one thing did remain clear, Area was in good hands until she either perished for real or somehow survived this and decided to wander the earth. The former thought was more interesting than the latter.

The monster had made it to the kitchen on a low crawl, but was breathing heavily until he just layed there on the ground, racked with chills despite sweating from the amount of energy it took to get there in the first place. Staring at nothing special his vision became spotted with black dots, a wave of nausea hit him. Yet he didn't have it in him to retch....No, that wave of blackness hit him hard as he lay unconscious on the ground, shaking and breathing shallowly.

Joker was driving the car back to his and Kit's house in silence. He was still out of it but for the most part he took another few different pills that calmed him down. Finally making it home he just parked the car and stared out at the garage, his pupils dialating to small pinpoints with his thoughts moving around in his head. "I'll...Meet you inside Kit. You can go ahead and get the pan out so I can make us a good light dinner of grilled chicken, salad and a bit of bread." That was the poor doctor trying to grasp some form of normal thinking.

As they made their way to the house, Kit wasn’t totally sure on what it was that she had to do. Biting her lip some, she glanced over at the other before gently stroking his hair. There wasn’t much else that she could do at this moment. Giving the doctor a soft kiss, Kit nodded, “Alright, I’ll get everything ready. Come in when you want, okay?” She smiled softly at him, giving Joker a gentle hug before moving to go inside. So many things were going wrong… desperately, she wanted to call Kalore to check on him but what if something was wrong? More than likely something wasn’t and he was sitting in his house doing… something that she didn’t know, but he would be there. No need to worry… and no need to think of what would happen if she called and he didn’t end up being there like what he needed to be.

Shaking her head some, the woman bit her lip before walking into the house and moving so that she could get into the kitchen. For days now they had had things going well. Why now? Why would things have to turn sour now? Kit sighed, her head soon coming down from the bun that she had held it in and she wasn’t too sure on what it was that s he could do in order to make things better. Getting a pan, another pan, and some food… that’s what she would focus on. That’s all that she could focus on.

Dusk watched as Kyoshi left, not allowing her to even speak but she didn’t take any offense to it. Sighing softly, the woman soon stripped down into one of Kyoshi’s large shirts, resting against the bed with the fabric brushing against her thighs. It was a good feeling, familiar, something she hadn’t had. Yes, the woman was strong; no one could say that she wasn’t. There hadn’t been a leader better than Cecilia Marciena yet but… sometimes she didn’t believe that. Had she been told it? Yeah… but… No, she didn’t want to think much on it. Things were going to improve. They had to. They couldn’t get much lower than this.

Kyoshi walked back to the palace and entered the bedchamber that he shared with Dusk. Keeping his head down, he walked in, not noticing that Dusk was there with his shirt on and went towards the bathroom to take a shower. At the very least he wanted to keep thinking before he spoke at all....Then again he couldn't afford that. Sighing softly, he stopped and looked at the woman he loved with a small smile. "Did you eat yet?" Maybe he could go to the kitchens and get them something together to try to think of something else.

Sighing softly, the doctor got out of his car and locked it up. Removing his white coat Joker entered the house and hooks up the coat on a coat hanger. "Kit? Is there anything for dessert you want to eat?" He called out, wanting to make something sweet for his lady love to get his mind off the current events.

Kit smiled some, poking her head out from the kitchen, “We still have that ice cream maker… we could make something good with that, couldn’t we?” Still smiling at him, it wasn’t long before she was leaning against the wall, not totally sure on what it was that she could or couldn’t do. Kit did care for Joker, more than she thought she would care for anyone like this, but she also knew that there were some things that people had to do on their own. It had been a while since this kind of situation had presented itself to them but… Kit would help in any way that she could.

Dusk’s eyes never opened, but soon she sighed, shaking her head, “Not yet. I was going to wait to see what you wanted.” Stretching some, she sat up, smiling at the other as she tilted her head to the side. “You’re hungry? I can get something made for us or you could make something or…?” There were many options at their hands, being royal, but she also knew that Kyoshi was, well, Kyoshi. Both of them needed something to do; which was her excuse for thieving… not that Kyoshi or Rave ever accepted it. Jerks.

Joker perked up and grinned. "That sounds good! I was wanting to create some weird flavors like birthday cake, and brownies and maybe cotton candy!" He squeed and did a weird dance as he went over to Kit, pulling her close to him for a dance.

Kyoshi shrugged. "I was asking to do the same thing." He grinned at her and forgot about showering as he walked over to the bed to sit down and kiss her knee. "How about we go out to eat somewhere? If your not going to be mobbed by the people of course." He winked since Dusk was a Queen and people always wanted to be around someone famous.

Smiling at the other, Dusk gently touched Kyoshi’s hair as he kissed her. “I think… that we could possibly go out to eat if we just dressed like normal people instead of someone royal. Most people know me but now that I’ve got my different hair… I haven’t exactly addressed the whole nation lately so I don’t think that it’s something that should e noticed quite yet.” Enjoying the attention, Dusk sighed, “I’m going to need to address them soon… but for now, why don’t we go out to eat where we can just relax? It’ll be just the two of us.” She kept him close, smiling more at him. “Would that be alright with you, Kyo?”

Kit laughed, giggling at the dance but she moved with him, happy. “And how are we going to make those?” Keeping him close, they continued to dance into the kitchen, the ice cream machine still out and clean, ready to be used again. That was definitely a gift that she was going to have to thank Dusk for getting; it was probably her favorite one, actually.

Joker stopped and stared at the machine. "Good question. Let me figure that out while making dinner and then we can have some dessert. After that, would you honor me with a dance?" He asked, smiling gently at Kit. Despite all this, he felt normal with Kit. There wasn't any worries that his monster was going to break out but rather it was calm with this woman.

The angel nodded. "Yes, that sounds great. Let me just take a quick shower and then we can head out to anywhere you want to go alright?" The leaned up to kiss Dusk softly, touching her chin gently as he did so.

Dusk nodded back, gently touching his cheek, “Alright. Mind if I join you, though, or is this thinking time for Kyo-Kyo?” She grinned some, kissing him softly before sitting up a bit. She knew that they both needed a shower but… oh well. Maybe things would turn out well enough and Dusk needed to find out where it was that they could go that wouldn’t bombard them with people. Up north it wouldn’t be too bad but she didn’t like the food as much. The food in Haven was good…

“Of course.” Grinning some, Kit gave him a gentle kiss, a light blush on her cheeks before she sighs some, shaking her head again. “ Do you want me to stay out of your way then?” No need to get in Joker’s way when he cooked; things could get dangerous then and it just wasn’t worth it… normally, at least.

Kyoshi smiled and touched her cheek. "I love it if you joined me in the shower. It's too lonely in there." He kissed her forehead and got up from the bed, removing his shirt and folding it to place on a chair. "Let's go dear." He motioned for Dusk to follow him.

The doctor shook his head. "Could you...Could you stay with me? You can help...." But as long as she was with him then he would keep that sense of peace around him. That sense of belonging after losing so many friends in so little time.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:37 pm

Kit raised a brow, surprised at being asked to stay but then again…. Why so surprised? Smiling some at him, she leaned down, kissing his cheek gently. “Alright. I’ll stay with you for as long as you need me.” The smile never left her features as she kept close to the other, helping with whatever Joker needed.

Two Weeks Later

It shouldn’t have taken this long, and Kalore should have grabbed something to eat before but… Shaking his head, the man looked around the field where the house was just sitting there. Touching the bow on his back, he knew that this was the right place. Pained sounds would come to him but the moment his hand left, they would fade. Standing there on the porch now, however, the blonde looked at the door, frowning some. His body was weak and it had been days since he had eaten anything, however, that didn’t stop the fact that he had to see. Monty couldn’t be alive, though… Maybe someone else had the bow that he didn’t know of?

A breeze blew past him, causing him to wince as a cut appeared on his cheek. Doubts… they weren’t good and apparently it wasn’t a good thing at all for him to be doubting what had brought him there. Giving small thanks, he straightened himself, gently knocking on the door.

The monster in the cottage had woken up from his deathly slumber weeks ago. He was in constant pain. The slightest noise angered him to the point of roaring out in rage. He was cold, so very cold as he was shivering and wrapped his arms around him in the middle of the kitchen.

Groaning he turned his head at the sound of a knock on the door. If his leg didn't hurt as much and had some strength in it he would have answered it but then again he didn't want anyone or anything to know he was here in his hole, the only rock he could hide under.

Besides, the monster was getting angry that a noise was breaking the peaceful silence as he growled loudly, a warning sound. Not that he could do much in such a weak state but perhaps a warning was all that was needed here. Right?
PostPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:55 pm

Kalore figured that he had been lied to. No one was there and nothing was going to stop the man from feeling the pain. Coming there had been an illusion, hadn’t it? Sighing softly, he turned away but his ear twitched as the sound of a growl came to him. Eyes widening, the elf looked back. He knew the growl… he knew that growl very well. Surprise was obvious but soon enough he was walking back to the door, touching it before giving a small breath, taking the handle and pushing it open. At first it wouldn’t budge, but with more nudging, he was able to enter the cottage, the light streaming around him, reflecting off his blonde hair first.

Standing there, closing the door behind himself, he looked through the place, trying to see just what it was that was around him but at first he couldn’t see anything. With the place dimmed, even Kalore himself was hard to see in his loose clothes, his frame thinner than before from not only the lack of food but the lack of rest that he had allowed his body to maintain. But it took him only a moment to see the red hair and he froze. No… He wasn’t alive. Kalore had watched as the other was laying there, dying, and had watched the casket be put into the ground. But…

“M… Monty…?”

Someone entered his domain. Someone was entering upon his solitude that it made the monster open his eyes and looked at the dark, blurry figure of someone calling out a name he knew he went by but a name he didn't want to answer to right now.

Growling he started to stir his pained body to move away from that figure to either escape or to find something to throw at him. Then again by the time he did find something he might not have the energy to throw it far enough to hit this figure.

Anyways, Monty started to crawl away from the figure that was Kalore but didn't get far in his weak state. No he couldn't get far with his body full of pain and starting to get sick. Giving up he just layed there and hoped that if this figure was here to kill him, he wanted it done quickly.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 12, 2011 3:14 pm

Hearing the sounds, Kalore looked confused. What was that? He didn’t turn on any lights but he did move to one of the shut windows, gently cracking it so that he would be able to see better. The flash of red was obvious, as was the growling, as he slowly moved to his knees, just staring at the man before him. He was in pain, obviously, but… “M-Monty…” This couldn’t be happening. Moving slowly towards him, he was making sure to stay out of range of any attack or anything at all, though he wasn’t too sure that he knew what else to do. “Wh-What… I don’t…” He didn’t understand what it was that was going on. This couldn’t be Monty… right? It was some trick. It had to be. “Is… Is it you…?”
