Kota took her hands gently and placed a grey mist over them which covered her whole body in only a few seconds, "Breathe in the mist. It will help you later on once Nadare is Awakened."
Monaleth's eyes widened at the name, but she could do nothing about it. She toook a silent breath and looked at Kaliel pleadingly, but he merely shook his head in sorrow before looking away. This had to be done. You were not upholding the Balance within this world, so your son will. Monaleth's look became a glare before she looked away herself.
Meanwhile, Tara waited for Alanra and Karnac to follow her before she got them inside, although it was a bit more difficult than before. The base did not know whether Alanra was safe, but with a Tien's spell they finally went in, "Lina," Tara called out, walking faster, "I must speak with you. It's about Troden. He is planning something I think you should know."

Karnac followed Tara in, acting as Remus with the help of Tien's spell. He waited patiently for Lina to emerge.

Bell didn't like this but followed the instructions, the mist falling into her lungs until she was able to look at the face of the man, "Will you please explain to me what the heck is going on before I have to do the chicken dance and then run around like a maniac screaming."

Alanra rolled her eyes before nodding, "Very well, but-" she cut herself off as the sounds of footsteps entered and two dark brown eyes glowed as they rested upon 'Remus'. His katana immediately appeared as Alanra backed up in surprise, "Who are you and why are you pretending to be Remus?"
As if on cue a group of elders appeared out of nowhere and surround Karnac, their blades aimed towards him. Salen then turned his gaze on Tara and Alanra who was by this time looking shocked, "And who are you?" Alanra lifted her arm to show the Lotus symbol and Salen nodded. allowing them to pass, but poor Karnac was sent away.
Meanwhile Salen gave a silent call to Lina, who immediately went out the shrine and moved to meet Tara, "Tara, what is going on?" Meanwhile, Alanra slipped away from the group and moved towards the only place she could clearly sense that luscious lycan Remus, but before she opened the door, she began to change into a form everyone knew very well the Lotus Leader herself. The door opened to reveal a very troubled 'Lina'.

Karnac back up in surprise. "But I'm... Oh s**t..." Karnac's ears folded back in the manner of one who was in quite a sticky situation. It wasn't helped any by the appearence of Lina.
--
Remus looked up as the door opened. "Well that didn't take long. What's wrong?" Remus stood up as he saw the expression on "Lina's" face.

Lina took one look at the impostor and for a moment turned from very confused to very shocked, "What...?" all she could see was Remus about to be dragged away. Salen saw this but only gestured towards his ear which said it all. The real Remus had a permanent injury on his left ear from Dorien's sword, but in this imposter the injury was on the right. It was a clear sign of a fraud.
"The next time you wish to fool the organization, you should do more research." Lina said coldly before she took Tara into the next room.
Meanwhile 'Lina' walked deeper into the shrine, "You would think that Troden would give up trying to enter this place, but it seems he tried to send an assassin here to kill you. Why didn't the barrier stop him I wonder?" A frown crossed her face before moving closer to Remus.
"But no matter, the matter is being taken care of by Salen and the others." she then lifted a small necklace from her sleeves, "I wanted to give this to you, as a wedding gift to you, but it didn't seem right to give it to you when we weren't in the place that met." she opened the string enough to be able to place itover his head.

Remus's eyes narrowed as he caught a scent. Something in his mind didn't like it. The smell caused him to shy away from "Lina" for a moment. He shook it off. "Thank you dear one, but what exactly does it symbolize? An Ankh has had no real relation that I'm aware of." He said this gently so as not to hurt her feelings, but that smell was making him extremly nervous. He knew what it was, but somehow couldn't place it.

In his mind, Vajra rolled his eyes, Oh just put the stupid thing on already. he thought before she lowered the necklace, "It was a symbol of eternal life for the Egyptians a long time ago, but before that it was the symbol of eternal love. My father gave this my mother for her wedding gift and now I wish to give it you."

Troden finally took this time to speak, "I'm sorry for not telling you Isabelle, but with the plan in motion, it is only wise for it to be revealed slowly." he then walked towards her, "We have been working together to find the next Leaders, but it soon became clear that we would need a fireuser and a wateruser like you and myself to truly find it which comes to the reason why Kota has placed a spell on you. It is to amplify your powers so it seems that an elemental is trying to free Nadare instead of Fiora, which the water elemental should do. This will therefore cancel out the Awakening for both Nadare and Fiora, and make it impossible for anyone else to Awaken afterwards." he grinned at the thought before looking at her, "I have been given the same spell. Now do you understand?"
Tara followed Lina and sighed as she closed the door, "It is hard for me to say this, but..." she trailed off as Tien's spell faded and suddenly she felt dizzy, falling upon the floor. She was unconscious for now. Tien had made sure of that.

Remus moved back to her. "I see. Then... I'm honored." The hesitation was due to the return of the smell.

Lina looked pleased as she placed the necklace over his head and upon his neck, a deep sigh laced with a small spell to hide the scent of the silver before backing away, "I am glad you like it." she replied before moving towards the door, "Now I need to see to the imposter." she then moved out of the door and immediately became Alanra again.
Karnac, I know you're probably a little bit upset, but we have to leave now, so be a doll and change back into your cute self and we're out of here. he sent to Karnac's mind before quickly moving towards the door.
Meanwhile, the real Lina was dealing with Tara sudden collaspe with a small group of Lotus members adept in medical treatment.

Remus examined the necklace a little more closely once she'd left. Something about this felt out of place. If it had meant that much he was surprised she'd given it to him now rather than some more appropriate time. He frowned, but figured it was just in his head.

Karnac rapidly shrank back to his original form and was away from his captors only moments later. "A little upset!? A little?! I'm a lot more than a little upset! Give me one good reason not to shred every thread of that red and gold kimono you like so much!"

The alleyway did not want to end. It seemed to be getting longer and longer. Yet Kaia was sure it was only her imagination. Her instincts flared at her to run down the alley and be done with it, yet her self-discpline commanded she go at a normal pace. Any onlookers, who knew what to look for, would only assume she was a human. Someone out for a stroll. She doubted if anyone could figure out who or what she was. Yet, she still continued with her calm disposition.

Bell nodded, "It makes sense." She smirked at Troden's own smile, this was going to be interesting. Maybe this time she would actually work with him to acomplish his goal instead of stand by and watch. She wasn't going to ruin this job, not if her life depended on it.
