Jarlaxle Baenre Deep Gnomes have a 3 level adjustment. But in the end, it pays of, especially if you're a mage. But they're gnomes! I suppose they aren't as boring as humans orcs or elves, but I can't stand small races, barring the occasional halfling when I have a good idea. I wanna be a centaur or a satyr or a minotaur or a werewolf or lizardman or something. In the end, I end up not even caring if it's super watered down because it's still more interesting.

I always pick INT as my highest stat when I play a rogue.
I mean, I consider the rogue's biggest attraction to be the crazy amount of skills you can get. Everyone ends up rolling DEX rogues though. I mean, does DEX add to sneak attack damage or something?

ValenarrDeMirro DEX makes it so you can't be frickin' hit, ever. xd Yeah, but it does that at the same rate as basically any other class. Besides, if I didn't want to be hit ever, I would play a fighter. Also: I agree that minotaurs are awesome. I would totally sex one up. Further: Today was a good day in the ED. Good days in the ED are so few and far between recently...

The new rule set is so unbalanced.
I start with a high Int, as a druid, then, I get the Shifter Prestige Class, then specialize in a few weapons as a fighter and have one level of Rogue to unload all of those skill points yep.
My multipurpose character.
Mhm.

Besides, if you want to be overpowered, just be a druid. 6th level spell "Creeping Doom" is 1000 damage divided however you want. (3.0 ruleset) Edit: I'm posting Snovella in one-on-one. It didn't seem to fit anywhere else. Right now, the post isn't anything special. I decided to go with the original beginning I had, so it's pretty much the same, but a little more vivid description. If you read the first post in my journal, you're not missing much.

I dunno, I like the DEX style rogues. The AC bonus is great, as is all the nifty little extras that come with it. I mean, you get all the fun skills like tumble and pickpocket. Sure there are more, but it's quarter-after-3 AM and I can't be bothered to look anything up right now.... Well, then again for 2 of 2 rogues I've played seriously I've switched to assassin or shadowdancer as soon as possible! Ugh, damn 3.5...... They took away my "army of darkness" option. Prior to 3.5, the shadowdancer coudl create a huge armada of shadows. 3.5 comes arounda nd the ONLY change they make to the damn thing is that the army can no longer be made...grr... Honestly, it was what made the class man. The assassin has his bad a** instant kill moves, and his bonus of having magic, and the shadowdancer could slowly make an army of the undead! It was awesome! They've castrated the class man....castrated.... -_-'
As for races, for the love of god, play with the level mods. It's worth it in the end for the fun it adds. Failing that option; make your own damn race! It works with classes too! I don't know if anybody else does this (well actually I DO! There's an entire forum out there dedicated to it...can't recall the name though...) but I know it works for my group. Even making custom spells works well if nobody's making over-powered stuff.
Bleh, anybody using Sheezyart? Why the hell does their music uploader never work!? GAH! I keep trying to put my band tracks up there, but it always crashes on me at the last minute! It's a conspiracy I tell you! Conspiracy! scream Ah, but they will soon know the terrible justice of the TIRE IRON OF THE GODS! Whackity WHACK! MUAHAHAHAHA!
Heh heh heh man, you guys ever strike up conversations with your buddies randomly at 3AM? Damn, they are like entirely different people! The things you learn.... who knew? ^_^
Well, I'm gonna try and see what I can do about sleeping now (it's not working dammit! Why won't it work!? gonk ) because it's now 3:30AM and absolutely nothing is going on.... I mean... I COULD be like Lykus and watch porn, but then I'd be like Lykus, and not like me, and then I'd get confused and go all emo and start asking who exactly I was and when I'd changed and you'd all be there to say "Oy, it was when you watched porn cuz Lykus said it was awesome!" Well not today Lykus! I resist your ways! Also, Lykus, nobody says 'c**k' because we'd rather not have our genitalia associated with barnyard animals or anything to be dipped in however many herbs and spices KFC claims to have. So there! heart
Ps. LOTD, that RP thing's still open right? I should look into that....

"c**k" is still better because it has significantly more vulgar impact.
Did you know that espresso actually contains less caffeine per serving than other coffee? It's concentrated coffee, but the quick extraction process means that there's actually less caffeine. http://www.faqs.org/faqs/caffeine-faq/

Not really, if this was one of the previous rule sets, the ones that stated "only non human characters can multiclass" then all of my experience would be divided by the number of classes I have... which also had limited multiclass options and dual classing forced you to have an inactive class for sometime. v3.5 however has a set experience for each character level (all class levels combined) so the only real challenge is planning ahead... which isn't that hard.
I only had like one level of Shadowdancer, just for the "Hide in Plain Sight" ability.
I have to say though, I think Sneak Attack is CRAP compared to backstab.

That's not what I'm talking about though. I mean, there's supposed to be a rule that says if you have more than two classes, you have to keep your classes (except the favored class and prestige class) evenly leveled or you suffer EXP penalties.

Well, first of all, when you're in a campaign that has loads of EXP, that's not a problem. I'm a human (doesn't take EXP penalties for it's highest level class). My Druid class has only five levels. The Shifter class has fourteen, which leaves 20 levels for the fighter and one level of Rogue.
Note that I didn't just level each class and went on to the next. At first I alternated between the fighter and the druid, to make sure that the feats go to the fighter and that I also had the requirements to go and become a shifter. Then, I did the same thing with the fighter and shifter, up until I reached the epic levels and then I got four epic feats for the shifter class. Then I finished off with the fighter and Rogue as the last level. So, from what you say, the favored, the fighter being the highest, looking at a human's "favored class", and the Shifter, a prestige class, the only difference is between the one level of rogue and five levels of druid... which isn't that much.
In the old days, I thought that Dual Classing owned Multiclassing.
Someone should make a D&D campaign here... or something along those lines.

Oh wait, so you're 20 Fighter 15 Shifter (prestige?) 5 Druid 1 Rogue
Nevermind then. Fighter and Shifter are out because of favored class and prestige class, so since you're left with just two other classes, which is one less than before the rule applies.
So yeah.

Yep. That's basically it, except the Shifter, the prestige class is level fourteen instead of fifteen.
Your interpretation adds up to 41... where the maximum is 40.
You should *so* make a D&D campaign.
I don't think I remember you ever creating a roleplay...
P.S. Goblins rule all.
