Little David woke up, his eyes fluttering as the bright sun shined in through the window. The first thing he saw was the dagger that always sat on his desk. Cleaned. He blinked, still slightly tired as he looked behind him and saw Loki. He smiled while he tried to roll out of Loki's arms and on to the side of the bed. His little feet hit the wooden floor as he looked over at the knife. He blinked lightly as he reached up with his right hand to touch the very fine tip. He pulled it back as he yelped of pain, as blood dripped from the tip of his index finger, seeing his own blood on the knife. He imediately ran out of the room, down the stairs and running to 9.
"Mommy! I got ketchup coming out of my finger!" He whined, thinking about the dead boy KB had dragged in the night before.

Xol falls from the rafters like earlier. A misty black trail follows close behind like a moving shadow as he lands. The mist silently swirls around him and dissolves. His piercing crimson eyes narrow on 9 as he takes a few steps towards her. "Aye...time to finish what we started earlier...and I suggest you take out something more formidable than a dagger this time..."

9 smiled softly as she picked up David and held him in her arms. She kissed his finger and the wound was gone. As she pulled his hand away she should him his finger
