Dusk laughed some, kissing his cheek again as she touched his arms. “I think that it would make sense if we did something, definitely.” She winked back at Joker, causing Kit to laugh again. “Wow… I love how professional our Queen is.” Dusk, instead of being insulted like most probably would be, just grinned widely. “Eh… too much professionalism, makes people borings. What’s the point of that?” She winked at the other, laughing again but soon blinked as she saw Eldin. He was watching the dining room with what looked like to be a… sad look. “Eldin?” He shook his head, sighing softly, “I think… we’ll be leaving soon…” He muttered his words, watching as Viper and Gambler seemed to antagonize his boss. He was impressed by Rave’s control, but everyone had their limits.
Gritting his teeth, he leaned back for a moment, just staring for a second. “Gambler… I do not recall saying that you were a whore. If you possess multiple men now, however, then that is something that should be considered.” He glanced over as Kalore was behind him, the man silent as he kissed his friend’s temple. “We’re leaving.” Getting Rave to stand, Kalore turned and watching Gambler, able to meet her eyes through the dark glasses, “Shame, really. You seem to be on a roll ruining lives, though.” He gave a flourished bow, smirking at her with the cruelty unmatched by even her. “I hope you continue, truly I do… Karma builds up fast.” Rave was already walking, Kalore soon following as he poked his head into the kitchen, the anger still in his eyes as he spoke.
“Brat, you can stay if you want. We’re leaving.” Kit frowned, taking a step forward, “What happened?” She looked in the direction of the smug couple in the dining room, her eyes narrowed at them but Kalore didn’t say anything as he was gone, the car starting and Eldin sighed, hugging Joker and bowing to his Queen before he followed. “Call us so that we can come back, alright?” He smiled, nervous, but followed. They were his ride him…

Gambler smiled like a shark and picked up a piece of fruit, nibbling on it as she sat there unruffled, looking at Viper. "Don't you enjoy people when they are in denial and forget the very words that cut out more than blood?" Viper nodded and offered her another bit of fruit that was there. "After all, I'm not so old as to forget a single word." She took the food, separating herself from everyone who was in the kitchen. "Karma isn't even part of my religion." Viper laughed with mirth and shook his head. "Perhaps not but you must be worship-able indeed if he puts you with Karma in the same reference."
Kyoshi and Joker stopped joking as they looked at Eldin with a frown. "Why happened?" He asked, stopping the ice cream machine, crossing his arms as he was looking at all the troubled elves, Eldin leaving that made the doctor frown even more losing all traces of his laughter.

Kit frowned more as her fists were clenched. “What happened is that the whole thing of ‘not causing problems’ seems to not count with those two.” Her words were sharp and Eldin, thankfully, was able to stop at the door as he looked back, sighing some. “Gambler and Viper are causing problems, Joker. We tried to be civil but apparently that isn’t to be returned.” He looked at Gambler, watching her. “And, Kit and I were there and able to hear what was said, Gambler.” Expression and tone that of someone much older than the boy, Eldin shook his head again. “He called you a coward, which you have proven to be, but he only called you a whore when you brought it up; a rebuttal, of sorts. You weren’t then, and I would hope that you’re not one now, but it seems like you relish to hurting others, so who knows what you do to yourself?”
Shaking his head, he soon was gone and the trio drove off, leaving Kit and Dusk sighing softly, running a hand through their hair. Why was it that things couldn’t go the way that they needed to? None of them knew exactly what happened, but to have Eldin speak like that to Gambler? He did normally take sides with Rave, but the man, both of them, held himself high and didn’t allow emotions to get in the way most of the time. This was just… bad.

Gambler had a fruit in her hand and crushed it, standing up. Now Eldin was speaking to her? That was pushing it a bit far since he had no business involving in what was between the adults. Enough was enough and without saying a word she motioned for Viper to move towards the door so that they too can leave this place.
Kyoshi looked revolted as did Joker and walked out after Gambler. "Where are you both going?" Gambler stopped as Viper stood there, his friendly turned to venom as he watched her now former comrades. "Leaving. Obviously children are getting involved in grown up conversations and that's not something I tolerate. Ah but I sometimes forget that you all are children." "Gambler please." "Enough Kyoshi. You chose your path and if it's following your princess then so be it. This changes nothing. Consider this the last straw for the whole world will know of my laws." She smiled brightly that wasn't truly pleasant.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Kyoshi knew Gambler better than anyone yet that did change him questioning her. "I'm talking about a live broadcast to all Areas and the world to know that Gambler is the greatest tyrant of all time. If you so much as spark a war with me, I'll send so many bombs your way, the elves will be extincted like the dinosaurs without any discrimination of who dies. I hope you invest in bomb shelters, those might help." With that she turned around and walked with Viper to their car to leave the elven nation for the very last time, leaving Kyoshi and Joker shocked and open mouthed.

Gritting her teeth as she watched Gambler, Dusk’s fists were clenched as she stood there with Gambler, “We won’t spark a war, Gambler, but you’re damn close to doing so yourself.” Would she start something? No, she wasn’t going to do so. She had too many friends in the Areas but she did know that the moment that any of them were harmed because of gambler’s stupidity, she was going to attack. Unlike Gambler, however, she didn’t believe in killing all of those of a race; genocide wasn’t really her thing. What she would do would be to make sure that Gambler and her cronies were given the worst torture imaginable. There was only so much that she could do with someone that wouldn’t accept help, someone that was just… a b***h, for lack of any other word.
The ride home had been fast and Kalore had simply grabbed his box and just gone into his home. None of the men had spoken, but it was obvious that some of them were hurt while others were just… angry. Kalore and Rave were angry. They didn’t show it, however, before Kalore was standing in the middle of his living room, the box in the floor as he just… stared at it. He wasn’t sure on what to do other than that but he did know that he would have to open it. Maybe it would help get his mind off of Gambler’s idiocy, but that just meant thinking about Monty. Touching the medallion on his neck, he realized that he hadn’t yet stopped thinking about him.

Gambler heard Dusk and smiled. "Then you have nothing to worry about if you don't touch my territory or my people." With that she entered the car and Viper pulled out of the drive way and peeled out of the neighborhood straight to their home in Area 6. Everything was actually set to do the broadcast, she just needed to have the right date for it. Viper suggested on a Wednesday for some reason and shrugged. "Sure. Let's shake everyone to their core." Which what they didn't know was that it was going to shake the whole world as they knew it.
Kyoshi was boiling in anger, wanting to get to their home to spy on her and see what the hell was up her sleeves as Joker's shoulder dropped and walked to the bathroom, closing the door behind him and locked it. The doctor looked down at the sink trembled. His body trembled with rage, with grief, with loss with everything a person could feel. The angel in the living room ran a agitated hand through his hair. "I think we should good too." He murmured.
In the box that held some great treasures that Monty had wanted to give Kalore with the knowledge that he was going to use them. There were four bows made from the finest craftsmen he had ever known with the strongest line that wouldn't snap no matter how many times it was pulled. The bows were made from a polished Ivory with decorative flowers with vines going down the length of it. Another was of a deep Ebony with a green flower at each end that were connected with a thorned stem.
The last two seemed fragile but were actually the strongest. One was made from the finest Jade with the image of a dragon craved into the bow looking fierce with wisp of pale yellow on the dragon as if saying Kalore was a dragon. The last one was a red bow made from hard Ruby, the cravings were of flames, yellows and oranges were imbedded to make it look as if the fire was real. Each bow had an inscription in them for protection of the handler.
Then there were four arrows that when with their respective bows that belonged with a Fey created quiver to hold them. Yet this quiver was like no other since if you placed on arrow in the quiver you will never run out of it. It was the very thing that Gambler was paying for since Monty had stolen it from the Fey. Yet regardless, the pearl hue quiver now belonged to Kalore as did the arrows and bows. Completely for him to use in whatever way he wished it.

Pacing, Dusk was trying to think of what it was that she could do in order to do something, anything, in order to fix this. Listening to Joker leave, she sighed, shaking her head, “Kit, we’re going home.” She kissed the blonde’s cheek, smiling softly at the crestfallen girl. “It was amazing to be here with you all and I think that it’ll be great if we can get together again. I really do miss both of you.” Kit smiled, nodding as Dusk and Kyoshi soon were leaving. As they did so, she closed the door and moved to the bathroom, knocking on the door. “Joker…? Are you alright? Can I um… can I come in?”
Kalore nearly jumped from the box when he saw the contents. With wide eyes, he carefully touched each of the beautiful tools, his breath quickening when he came to the last two. The jade and ruby bows made him nearly drop to the ground as he slid to his knees, cradling the two. It was obvious for him to understand the symbolism of the two but it took him a moment to truly understand the dragon. Monty was one of the only ones that would tell him how strong he really was. Eyes watering just slightly, he kept the items close to him as he smiled softly, the first true smile in a long, long time. For just a moment, things were alright. The warmth from the medallion helped, along with the reminders of Monty, but his eyes landed on a piece of paper by the quiver. He frowned.
It took him a moment to remember that there had been a note from Monty apparently… he wasn’t sure that he wanted to read it but before he could make himself believe that, the note was in his hand as he read.

If your reading this, perhaps it's because I never got the chance to give these gifts to you due to some circumstances or perhaps your a clever elf with his endless curiousity that brought you to discover these,' The tone of Monty in the letter was amused as if he was truly there speaking to him, I had thought really hard on what to give that meant something to you. Something that would give you courage even if I seem to have trouble taking if from you. Know that everything was new to me being in something steady and with that....other male....' It would have made it amusing to hear Monty growl and grumble about wanting to murder Eri and bargining with Kalore to let him do so.
'Regardless, these gifts are yours. All of it. I want you to be happy where ever the situations lead us. If I'm no longer walking among you, then know that I had never meant to hurt you. I don't think I could have layed a violent hand on you after opening that door to bring us together.' There was regret at himself in those words in the reflection of thinking back to all the things he had done. Both good and bad. 'In the end, Kalore, know that things are not what they always appear. A common thing a person does is reaction without thinking when something happens but sometimes if you stop to listen and read between the lines perhaps the true meaning is hidden away. To the point, I do apologize for acting on that common impulse that pushed you away into the last place I never wanted you to be. I know I've scold you about saying sorry but deep down, I scold myself for never having said to you in person. For that I ask your forgiveness when I don't deserve it. Promise me you will take care of everyone around you no matter what and remember to not make my mistakes with the rash assumptions. It would only bring unbearable pain.'
Monty did hold alot of regret for his treatment of Kalore and sometimes he did blame it on his past but on his death bed he silently asked Kalore for his forgiveness not in hopes of getting in good with heaven or anything but in hopes of....something. 'In closing, I have the highest hopes that your going to show everyone that inner strength that I've been trying to tell you have. Don't shy away from anything. Don't keep quiet. Don't let anyone walk over you. Also could you inform Gambler that it's going to be a while to repay the Fey for the quiver?' There was a smug satisfaction in that last statement that was totally Monty. Sincerely, Monty.'
Joker gripped the porceline sink and sighed. "Yeah....In a minute." Taking that minutes to control himself he took a deep place, thought about his La~La Land and opened the door, smiling slightly at Kit. "Hi. Are you alright?" His concern was more for Kit than for himself. Such a selfless doctor.

Watching as Joker opened the door, Kit looked nearly heartbroken, but not because of anything that had happened to her. She knew how badly the man had wanted things to go well and they hadn’t so… she felt horrible. Wrapping her arms around the man, she shook her head before kissing his cheek. “I’m fine, Joker… but I’m sorry that things didn’t go the way we wanted them to… the way you wanted them to.” Joker, she knew, wanted things to so badly work out, and this was one of the worst ways that it could have happened. If only… if only, she didn’t know. Kit didn’t have a clue on what could be done to make things better.
It took Kalore a moment, sitting there on his knees, to get his breath back after reading the words. For a moment, he was torn. He didn’t know whether to laugh at the statements that were nothing but Monty’s humor, or cry from the sentiment that he knew was there. In the end, he did both. Doubled over, there were tears coming from his eyes as he could hear the voice of his demon as though he was still there in front of him, but as he reread the lines, soft laughs came from him as well. That was Monty’s voice, all right… that was his demon. His demon that he missed more than anything else in the world.
Still doubled over, tears coming from the blonde’s eyes, he held the ruby bow and the note close to him, cradling them both carefully. He wanted Monty back. He didn’t care what it took, but he wanted his demon back so that he could be close to him again; even if all that happened was that he was yelled at or hit or anything. Monty said he would never lay a hand on him but… sometimes he doubted that; if he deserved it then he wouldn’t stop the man. Closing his eyes tighter, Kalore shook his head. Even with this mess with Gambler… Monty was still the one being that was constantly on his mind, constantly causing him to wonder on what it is that he had left. The answer: barely anything.

Joker wrapped his arms around Kit and held her close. "It's alright Kit. I think it was just wishful thinking that for one night everyone could get along." He kissed her forehead and sighed softly, staring at the door. "I think for now we just have to keep an eye on the news and get our practice running. Then figure out a date for Dusk and Kyoshi's wedding so I can do the cooking." The man wanted to think of things to distract him from his disappointment and sadness.
Despite having a humorous letter for Kalore, those were the words that had come to the closest thing of revealing any deep emotion from Monty. Since his lack of sharing those were infamous, he wanted to do something different that could express it if words failed. In a way it was like his parting gift.

Touching the man’s cheek, she nodded as she kissed him gently, “Then we’ll do that.” Another kiss and she kept Joker close, sighing some as she gently stroked his arm. “You know… there’s still a bunch of ice cream in the kitchen… I don’t know about you, but I think that I want to try some of the new flavors and that apple pie that you made. You didn’t let me have any of it this morning.” Kit pouted, watching the man with her big, green eyes as she placed her chin on his chest. “What’s the envelope that Dusk gave you, anyway? You seemed happy about it.”

Joker blinked and grinned. "Kit, have you ever had ice cream body shots?" The man asked, giving her a wicked look as he tugged her after him out of the bathroom and to the kitchen. "I got my license." It was official that Joker was going to be able to work as a full fledged doctor in the elven nation known as Ilovu.
The days passed in a whirlwind of activity as Joker did open his practice with a small amount of staff that included Eldin, his right hand man, Kit was his smexy secretary, another female elf by the name of Sarette who had strawberry blonde hair with light golden freckels across her nose and cheek, golden eyes and a sweet temperment as his nurse and a male elf named Kheelan who was tall and a light build with dark brown hair that had a natural shine and pale blue eyes that was his doctor and nurse all in one. Joker was so happy that they got right to work with having patients come in.
It was arkward at first but soon the flow of people was picking up with the comforting environment that catered to everyone no matter their status to come for a check up and get well priced medical services. Yet on this wednesday everything was slow. Very slow. Joker was in his office with paper work in front of him and...bored. It was depressing that there was barely anyone coming in thanks to that damned rain outside.
Yet it was that very rain that didn't stop the people from forming a large crowd around a building made from white stone that served as house for political meetings and such from real political individuals. But it was also a house for the announcement of Gambler's laws. There was security everywhere, on the buildings, on the streets, undercover among the crowds, and everywhere in between. The crowds had some signs up that surrounded the cameras from various news and radio stations to cover this event.
Gambler walked out of the building with a tall man who looked absolutly perfect in a black on black suit his hair a golden blonde with cornflower blue eyes, perfect complextion and a arrogance that told everyone he was the boss. Which he techincally was since no one knew that the real Gambler was a woman. This man next to her was the face and front of Gambler. The woman herself played role of dutiful wife next to the man, while the twelve ambassadors stood a few paces away looking equally dangerous that brought a hush to the crowd as police kept everyone at a distance.
The man known to the world as Gambler kissed the real on the cheek and turned to face everyone, the news were broadcasting this all around Area 6, yet what the world didn't know was it was only for Area 6 and not for any other area, except for Ilovu's eyes and ears. Yes, Gambler must be a serious masochist about pushing reactions out of people.
"My fellow citizens of Area 6. I welcome you today with news of new laws that will affect us and others around us. It was with great difficultity that...." The words were lost to Gambler as she stared out at everyone behind her sunglasses in the dreary day that might spill all the rain heaven could give them as she counted down the last this world will ever see Gambler.

“Cecilia!” Ignoring the call at first, Dusk continued to lean down over her paperwork, looking through things to make sure that everything was set. With Gambler’s threat, she was making their defenses stronger and enforcing more barriers between the two. She didn’t mind if people acme over that weren’t intentionally trying to harm them, but she didn’t want anyone there that was going to hurt her people. No… that she couldn’t take. So, the barriers were up, invisible, and making sure that nothing was allowed into Ilovu that she didn’t permit. Even though he nation was large, immensely bigger than that of the Areas, she was still in charge of all of it. Her first concern was to unite it under a stronger rule…
“Queen Cecilia! Please open the door!” Twitching some, she soon stood up, forcing the door open as she snapped, “What?!” Seeing that it was one of her younger pages, she relaxed some before running a hand through her hair. “Yes, Kael? I’m sorry… What’s wrong?” The boy was pale before he quickly explained about what was being broadcasted to their own news networks. She froze. “What?”
Gritting her teeth, it took only a moment for the woman to walk to her own room, calling for Kyoshi as she sat on the bed, watching as some man was in front of the press, explaining the new laws. There was Gambler, standing beside him with the blank look, but that didn’t matter to her nearly as much as the laws. So the woman was serious about all of this? It was… insulting, really. Dusk had tried hard to make sure that there was nothing between the two that was going to cause something as ridiculous as this, but apparently Gambler was still being a child, a child that she couldn’t really do anything about. But as she watched, her temper was only soaring to new heights. “That f*cking woman…”
Kit was leaning back, talking to their nurse, Sarette, about random things before Eldin got their attention, “Um… Joker? Kit…? You might want to see this…” Flipping channels to try and find something to watch as they waited for some disaster for them to be needed, Eldin had found the broadcast.

Kyoshi frowned as he walked out with his towel around his neck, staring at the TV and snarled. "What the f*ck is this?!" The man knew exactly who the woman was with her usual sunglasses looked then stared at the most charming, arrogant and charismatic man with his golden boy good looks stating the new laws. If Kyoshi had been there or if these had been different laws he would have been enchanted as everyone else watching clearly were. "Holy Christ....." He stood staring.
Joker blinked and walked over to the TV as Sarette stopped speaking with Kit to see what Eldin was referring to. Kheelan walked over hearing the stopped of voices and leaned back against the wall with his arms crossed in his silence. The news was on and Joker yelped, sitting back on the chair to stare at the TV. "Gambler!" Then he looked at the woman behind the man. "His wife!" Which was the real Gambler and he twitched uncontrollablly, causing Sarette to look at her boss with fear, inching away. "What the hell happened?!"
The male impersonator as Gambler captivated the crowd, some actually were agreeing to something that was impossible. Especially when this Gambler was talking about something completely different to the crowd while what was being broadcasted had been a pre-recorded speech to divert those who would most definitely watch. Of course it was unfair but she had Hibachi working the magic behind making such a thing possible while everything was happening in real time. It was the most advance technology she has ever encountered.
Looking at the camera she smiled slightly, knowing that in real time everyone would see her standing proudly behind her 'husband' Gambler with everyone's attention on her. Smiling even more with that knowledge she prayed that those who she know were watching kept their eyes on her as she mouthed out,"Check Mate." to those in TV-land. "In closing, my fellow citizens..." Gambler's delicious voice held everyone in attention as he made his final firm set comments about these laws. He was the most perfect creation ever to hold such great command.

Watching the scene in front of her, Dusk was standing up soon enough, her mouth twisted in an angry snarl. This was ridiculous. She barely noticed her love coming into the room as her focus was on the words that she was hearing. It was obvious that the words weren’t matching up with what the blonde Adonis was saying, but still… she understood the intent. It only took gambler’s mouthing of her words for Dusk to be sent over the edge. Flinging her hand out, shadows destroyed the television and she had to scream in order to make sure she didn’t lash out at something else. Profanity in the direction of Gambler was the only thing that she had coming from her as she just fell to the ground, gritting her teeth. Trying to get calm, she simply rocked a bit, knowing that if any of her staff saw her like this…
Kit bit her lip softly as she turned to Kheelan and Sarette, “Why don’t you two go check the inventory, please?” Sending them away, she didn’t bother with Eldin, who was watching the TV with a frown, but instead went to Joker. Her arms wrapped around him, leaning against him from behind as she whispered, “Please calm down… Please?” Kissing his cheek, she watched the broadcast in front of them, unable to keep the frown off of her own lips. She couldn’t believe this… the dub job was horrible, but it was obvious that the point was being made. Kit just hoped that Joker kept controlled, along with Rave and Dusk. Especially those two.
