"Sometimes, you just need someone to help you look around sometimes." Smiling again, before looking once more to the balls of light that were actually seon, and she stifled a chuckle somewhat. "Aw, but you deserve it if you are indeed being a butthead." Grinning at the blue ball of light before letting amber eyes flick to the yellow as apparently it wanted to empart secrets, but Xeke had ruined that. Bell giggled again, "Isn't that one cute. Though I've never seen two together aside for yours and your father's, Kaz. Aren't they supposed to be rare?" Brushing her hand over a patch of missing white scales that felt slightly irritable.

Rolling his eyes up, he followed Areesa as she moved around his head. "Thank you." Because compliments were rare and being Kaz, he never really got comfortable with taking them. But a look of intrigue then, eyes narrowing slightly. "We can, I think. But you don't have to if it will get you into trouble..." And then eyes moving over to his own Seon in surprise as it joined them, illuminating their previously dark corner of the hold. "They are. I guess we're just very lucky."
A sound like a grumble came from him and his glow flared slightly. "Hypocrite. At least it sometimes works on Bell. You're hitting a brick wall with Kaz." Bobbing in place between the two dragons. "Now look who's attributing human body parts to me again. I was not being a butthead, Areesa was just being difficult." Turning, he flew over to Kaz's outstretched palm and settled down.

"Oh it won't. I just like to play the secret game." Another giggle. "That means you're supposed to guess and then I can tell you if you're right or not. I bet Bellah would know." As Xeke settled himself, Areesa moved over towards Jae and hovered near her shoulder. "I was not!" Her glow dimmed slightly and her hovering became a little less bouncy. "I just wanted him to play the game. But he's being a big dummy!"

"Very lucky indeed." Though a frown at Xeke. "Hey, what are you trying to say about me now? I'll poke you in your proverbial eye with my horns if you're not careful." But another dissolve into a melodic series of giggles as Areesa continued in her rahter childish yet refreshing ways. Trying to sober herself she held out her hand as well for the little yellow one, the two seon's making a nice soft green of mixed light. "Alright, I'll play...are you with someone who is traveling with us?"

The secret game hmm? In other words, Kaz resorted to his logic once again. It was probably not uncommon to find Seons traveling far from their masters so if Areesa's answer to Jae's question was no, then the opportunities would be boundless. Seons were also known to be able to bond with all races alike, thus anyone could be her master. Even so, in all the time that they had been in the desert, he'd never even so much as caught a glimpse of the yellow light... "Are you with a female?" Wild shot but he felt the need to say something. Though a look down to the blue light and he shook his head. "Be nice, Xeke."
"Why am I the villain once again? The game is childish and inconsequential because she'll tell us in the end anyways... Look at that bounce, she can hardly contain the excitement." A sighing sound and visibly hovering a bit away from Bell. "Right, I'll take your word for it and shut up now."

Areesa was as thrilled as she could be that people were playing her game. She settled in Bellah's palm and then bounced up and down in answer to Jae's. "Very good Bellah." Kaz's question made her even more excited and her glow began to flicker even faster. "Yes! Yes! Ready to guess?" Though her light dimmed and turned more to a gold. "See! I told you he was being a butthead." Though she gave a giggle. "I'll forgive you if you play, Xeke." Her voice taking on a singsongy quality.

"You're the villian because you're smothering the possible fun in this. See, even Kaz can get in on it." And it seemed that the little yellow Seon was quite happy that they were playing its game, taking guesses and making it bounce in excitment. Then promptly mood swung on Xeke. "Lemme guess, she has very pretty eyes, doesn't she?" Bell was pretty sure she knew who it was, wasn't too hard to guess, seeing as how picky Seons were. "Oh come on Xeke, give one guess."

"I think it's all supposed to be in good fun, Xeke." He knew the Seon never really became upset but he did consider it very much a friend and as such, tried to offer up some comfort. Though he and Jae had seemingly gotten both guesses right and so the possibilities had been narrowed down to a few only. Rationalizing it through wasn't so difficult and now he too had his suspicions. "All eyes are on you..." Jostling the blue ball of light somewhat.
"That's per your influence, you know." But he wasn't ignorant to the lessons he'd taught Kaz. You had to indulge people sometimes, especially females. "Fine, not that I need your forgiveness." His light brightening somewhat and pulsing in place. "Not the elves, since they already have their own 'pets', so to speak... Not the other captain, for sure... That only leaves the Laerethe."

Her light pulsing brightly, she bounced up and down in Jae's palm once again, using her version of nodding. "Yes!" Though she paused for a moment, then her light brightened. "But which one?" asked the giggling ball of light. "That's the secret."

And well, seemed her guessing was right, but then it wanted them to take the guessing one step further. "Is is Ei-" Stopping before she said it. She knew the Laerethe's name from being around Kaznec, but anyone who had read on the creatures knew that you just didn't say thier names unless you were given personal permission to. Thus a look to Kaz, tilting her head slightly and then nodding at him to go on and say it. After all, he'd been given permission to.

A glance sideways to Jae as she caught herself. It was good to know that she was thinking the same as he though. "Eilynne." Though he was confused by one thing, the Seon seemed to imply that there was more than one Laerethe around... Thus a look down to the yellow ball curiously. "Is there another Laerethe in our midst?"
The secret was out. Somewhat at least. "Game over." Perhaps it was bored then, because it lifted off of Kaz's hand to circle around on top of his head for a bit and then moved onto Jae. "So what are you two doing down here in this dark secluded corner?" Probably filthy too...

"Sometimes." Though another giggle and she bounced. "The game's not over, Xeke. Kaznec won! Yay!" Thus flitting over to spin around Kaz's horns and sing out as she did. "Whooooooo!" Floating down to sit about Kaz's feet, she giggled again. "Bellah was going to sing to him and then Kazzy was going to take a nice long nap. Then they were going to snuggle and cuddle together."

Indeed, they were right, it was the Laerethe on board...and apparently sometimes there was another one around. Hm, that was an intriguing piece of information now wasn't it? But a smile as the yellow celebrated. Xeke remained same old Xeke. "Well, something like that. What Xeke did you completely miss the battle of earlier that Kaz and I got in? We're resting and recovering and fixing things. That's what we're going in the dark secluded corner as you put it." Taking the moment to put away things that she had gotten out to men Kaznec's shirt with. She was still feeling funny...and was kinda itchy, like when scales were growing in. But that would take weeks for those to grow back in, wouldn't it?

Breaking into a smile as the yellow Seon flew all over him, singing some random tune as she did. "That's curious. Why are you not supposed to tell anyone?" But a subtle raising of his eyebrow. Snuggle and cuddle...? That sure was one strange explanation wasn't it? "Jae's right. We stayed here because the crow's nest can't be reached without flying. It can be quite comfortable though."
The other Seon was odd, that much he had already decided on. Far too enthusiastic and overeager in everything. "You're being presumptuous, Areesa." Thus hovering to Jae's hands to light things up for her as she packed up. "Apparently. From the looks of it, it was pretty bad. Lucky for you two there's a healer elf on board."

Areesa stopped flitting for a moment and her light merely remained stoic. "I..don't really know. Maybe I should ask?" Thus she flitted up to circle about his shoulder again. "I know you are but what am I?" she snapped back just as quickly. "I just say what I observe. It's what I'm s'posed to do."
