"Agreed Mastema...I will harm but not kill TJ and Aeris as long as I get to use your Sanctuary." He nodded, not bothering to look back at him as he glared at Arpegius.
"Why is it so confusing for you all? This is not what the sword wants, it is what I want." He laughed, dropping the sword so that it stuck into the ground, showing them his control over it. "When Abyss did this, he turned into dust. As you can plainly see...not that case with me." He growled, grasping the Black Rose by the hilt and sheathing it on his back.
"it searched for a suitable master and has found one. Abyss was a temporary solution to restore lost power over the ages on inactivity. This is me, I am evil. I surpressed it for so long...and now the Black Rose has let me embrace who I truly am." He said, still glaring at Arpegius.
"If either you are Liara get in my way again, you will die. " He spoke, before vanishing into a plume fo black mist to Mastema's Santuary. As it dissolved, so did he.

Irvine burst into the Black Company just in time to see Xol dissappear. Mastema was still around and Dark Kaiori had taken control of Kaiori's body. Irvine unsheathed his blade from his back. He ground his teeth together in frustration. Xol had gone.

And you will need to help her. It is Xol whom I worry about. Everyone believes the Black Rose has corrupted him. I don't think so. I think it runs deeper. I believe Xol had been evil all along and was just biding his time. His deception will cost him his life."
Irvine walked over to Arpegius. He sheathed his blade and looked out the window. The moon was full and the sky was cloudless. It would be a nice night to die...
