You know you're a band geek when you and your best friend go outside during a cubscout thing and practice band commands, and marching season is already over.
Heh, Ally12908 and I did that before. I know them better than she does, and I'm not even a drum major. And we were both alternets.

You know you're a band geek when you practice being Drum Major to the mirror(even though you're a Freshman!!!)
You know you're a band geek when you hear the word trumpet blast and make an elephant noise(don't ask...v_v)
You know you're a band geek when your last girlfriend got you on their "Opposites Attract" Valentine's Day Results and she plays flute right next to you(Guilty...)
And finally.
You know you're a band geek when for 40 minutes or MORE a day you spend time playing in a Band Room.
...can't believe nobody mentioned that last one yet...XD

I'm too lazy to read through all this so I'll just post my own list...if they've already been said, too bad! XD
1. You wear a band shirt almost every day...even when you don't need to.
2. You wear your band sweatshirt/jacket EVERYWHERE.
3. You practically live in the band room.
4. You'd rather be doing a band related activity...then stay at home.
5. When you walk into Borders, you go straight for the instrumental section.
6. When you have band dreams...and the good ones not the ones where it's being destroyed.
7. When you're out with your friends (who are of course in band) and you guys are just out to see a movie or something and you start arguing about where you can find band related stuff.
8. You're watching a movie and you're instantly like: that's a french horn!
9. When you're watching a movie that you played the music from and you hear a part and instantly squeal: I LOVE THIS PART! And quickly ignore the movie and singing your part in the song.
10. As soon as you're done singing, you put in the tape from the concert you played it at.
11. You have a band box. (I have a band box)
12. You're more dedicated to band then you are in...homework, chores, just about...everything.
13. You've cried when the top instructor's told you that you're 'a problem' in the parade block.

-you look at everyone else's comments and think that's not anything weird, is it??
-it is a generally accepted fact in the school that you play in band and you get hailed by other people who can't carry a tune in a bucket

You know you're a band geek when you see someone in the cafeteria or the hall way and know right away that their in band, even if you don't know their name. (( Trust me, only the seniors have the Letterman jackets at our school, so that makes it a bit harder to point out, because the band doesn't have their own jackets. ))
