Lt. Brookman The fluff of the codex is a true affront to the overall background of the hobby. Yeah, the warp-travel of Draigo makes him almost another Emperor... but overall fluff is nice with the organisation of the chapter laid out and details of their fortress on Titan, plus details of their founding, especially with the role of Malcador the Sigillite... I do actually expect some more info in forthcoming Heresy series novels.

Tried out Draigo (mine is pinned and ready for painting) versus all the special characters of my friends Space Wolves... Draigo trounced them all except Lukas the Trickster who managed to get a draw with his stasis field trap.

x-InsigNia-x Fateweaver got owned by draigo. the chicken ran away. that was fluff, gotta simulate this yet... so far Draigo pwned all the DE and almost all the SW special chars, next trial will be vs vanilla marines!

I did him vs Ang'rath, and he beat the greater daemon 2-1, but got beaten by the massive Great Unclean one. 2-1. So far, he can beat any daemon, aside from the Forge World Great Unclean one. I don't think he will be able to beat the C'tan though.
In other news. Lord Hector Rex. Storm Shield, and Nemesis Force Sword= 2+ Invul.

Jason Kharo 1000th GK post. How actually is the codex itself? dex is example of the Matt Ward Mary Sue complex... oh, and quite unimaginative one, almost like Ultramarines with psyker powers and force weapons everywhere... but graphically, best standard! In other news, Draigo bested all the vanilla marines special characters, most didnt last more than one round, only ones that put up some fight were papa SMurf aka Marneus Calgar and the hammerer aka Darnath Lysander. Next stop in the Draigo vs the world, Craftworld Eldar!

Draigo feels like he's made by a seven year old, both in terms of rules and background.

Draigo, predicatably, managed to slay all the light side aligned eldar named heroes, and as a bonus the avatar who isnt special char, but deserved testing as a demon... the one that lasted longest was Asurmen with his combo of eternal warrior and invulnerable save. Next stop: CSM! Quote: Draigo feels like he's made by a seven year old, both in terms of rules and background. Well, it could be worse, he doesnt have EVERY beneficial special rule in the rulebook...

It makes me fear what passes for quality control around GW's design studio. Then again, Ward is the one who is always taking the creep a step beyond the previously established boundaries, the others seem to be a bit more controlled in their writing.
