No rush of course, but I posted in the Pokemon Center. I wasn't sure if I needed to wait for mod interaction to advance to the Resort or not..but I figured it was likely, so I waited. xD

Not to mention I got the Arena Guardian Well, everyone gets that mission as their first mission. I dunno the reason behind the mod's decision to have the first mission have the same sets of scenarios for everyone, but I know I'd rather have a handful of early missions be the same for all fresh students to cut down on the number of personalized missions that need to be figured out in advance yet might never be gotten to. As far as the Area Guardian goes, though... Eh, some people consider that bad luck, but I actually consider it very lucky. They end up being of a higher quality (and possibly even level) than the rest of the pokemon you could encounter for that area, at least from what I've seen in the past, and managing to catch one could give you an advantage early on. At least, as long as you don't get completely trashed by it.
