After a moment he scrambled forward. There could have been people in there! "Hello! Sorry, is everyone okay?" he called into the building.

Valarie was going to comment on Shina's response, but the collapsing wall startled her and she slammed the door close with a bit too much force. Once realizing what she has done, she slowly reopened the door with cheeks flushed in embarrassment and mumble a quick apology. Then, she looked at Joey, then the remnants of the wall, then back at Joey, "W-what did you do to the wall?" she accused, shock written all over her face.

It seemed as though Magnolia's spirit fled her body for a moment and immediately returned when the gym's wall suddenly collapsed in on itself. Fear glued her straight to where she was standing and her heart pounded like a drummer boy tripped up on LSD. Her eyes traveled from Valerie, the suddenly slammed door, around the gym, then finally to the large hole in the wall and the young boy standing in the center of it. Altais unzipped her bag partially open and peeked from where he hid see what all the commotion was about. Unsurprisingly, he did not like what he saw, but refused to reveal himself amongst so many humans. "I-It fell," Magnolia said, stating the obvious. "Arceus-!"

 @Gym Posse"Well that explains the smoke I smelled." Jem stated mater-of-factly, staring at the smoldering wreckage. "I don't think the kid did all that though, he doesn't look quite big enough to me."

Shina was startled by the sudden loud noise, and the door being slammed. It opened shortly, revealing a new hole in the wall and one of the young trainers from the caravan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Khol: Joey opened and closed his mouth a few times. "I-I didn't do anything! The lady with the Arcanine-" Joey pointed, but the lady was gone. He looked utterly baffled by this. ((Sad said since she will be gone a few hours, it was okay if I said Khol had fled the scene.))

Valarie gave Joey a look and decided it was best to grab her bag from the back of the gym. The watcher calmly placed all her belongings inside it, zipped it up, and brought it back to the front of the gym. She dropped the bag, took a deep breath, then started to wave her arms wildly at Joey as she looked at Jem with an incredulous expression, "H-he could've gotten a huge pokemon to knock it down!" she exclaimed, obviously not believing him.

Walpugis looked up from the game of cards he was playing with Jeremiah as he heard a ruckus upstairs. The caravan is in here? Karina had informed him that a group of travelers led by a rich girl would be passing through Motterosa, but he hadn't expected them to come so close to the hideout - the gym leader had been missing for a while, so it should have been common knowledge by now that challenges were closed.
Walpurgis turned back to Jeremiah as he stood up. "We'll continue later." The other man groaned. "Come on, Walpurgis! They're not going to find us here; you're just trying to get out of losing, you cheapskate."
Pulling on his trenchcoat, Walpurgis shook his head. "Look, if it makes you feel better, we'll play high-stakes tomorrow." Jeremiah grinned, his eyes lighting up with delight. "I'll hold you to that." He began to pack up the cards. "Money, here I come~."
Walpurgis checked to make certain he had all his knives and affixed the mask to his face.

The sudden rumble of the collapsed wall caused Lennyka to fall face first into the toilet she was leaning by. Her arms flailed wildly as water sputtered about, until she finally caught the rim and yanked herself up from the water, gasping for breath. "They're-" She paused to sniffle harshly. "Here." There had been word of a large amalgamation of trainers traveling from tip to tip of the region stopping in Motterosa. The grunt hadn't expected them so soon, but their appearance was inevitable. Staring to the porcelian bowl (which was luckily flushed; the grunt was put on cleaning duty and it was the reason why she was in the unlocked stall), she realized she wouldn't preferred death by toilet water than murder by heroic ten year olds. Life sucked. Rising from her OTL position, Lennyka wrung the water from her braidtails and marched her way to the entrance. They'd come flooding in any minute now . . .

"Well I dunno, I guess he could have." the stout young woman shrugged. "I'd rather believe him about the arcanine before jumping to conclusions though."

 Off in a corner, Sig itched at the collar of his maroon Trainee uniform and considered his options. He smiled smugly before placing his card. "Eight of Diamonds. I change the suit to Spades."
The loud thump from above and Walpurgus' subsequent activity made him antsy to see what was up, but he stayed in his seat waiting to see the response of his opponent.

@Gym peoples: "There was a lady!" Joey insisted as he clambered over the smoking remains of the wall. His Growlithe and Rampardos followed him. "She had a campfire near some stuff, and it got bigger!" he said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Neko, Jessica, Nana:Shina was peering around the gym. While it all seemed pretty old and abandoned, a bright poster on one wall caught her eye. "Hey, what is that poster doing there?" she asked. "The rest of this place is so ramshackle that it is falling in, but that poster is brand new," Shina pointed out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fifi considered her hand. Considering she only had a single card, the length of time she spent thinking was rather suspect. "So..." she laid down her ace of spades. "That means I win, right?" she asked cheerfully.

Valarie crossed her arms defiantly, "You have a rampardos and a growlithe!" she said. She paused then pulled her camera out to take some pictures of the two pokemon and quickly shoved it back into her pocket.

Natalie sighed, the trainer only managed to get a few items. She looked at her emolga, "Dusty, is this better?" she asked when she pulled out a gray coat from a rack.
Dusty scrutinized the coat and shook her head. She pointed at the coat then the lights, "Emol!"
Natalie shook her head, "Are you saying this is to light?" she questioned. Dusty shook her head in an affirmative. Letting out another exasperated sigh, she looked for a darker colored coat.
Unfortunately the trainer didn't know Dusty was only stalling so she doesn't need to go to a gym.

Magnolia quirked a brow at the placement of the poster amidst such a dilapidated wall. It certainly was suspicious. "Huh," she huffed. "How odd . . . "
@Rocket base:
Lennyka followed into the base's center area with a stream of dripped water marking her path. "So . . . " she commented aloud to no one in particular. "Any signs of them yet . . . ?"

Jem stared at Joey's pokemon for a moment before turning back to Valarie. "Maybe it was an accident?" she said helplessly.

@Rocket BaseXander looked up from where he was brushing Rei's coat when he heard the sound of the wall collapse. The blonde frowned and pulled his cap on with one hand while putting the brush he was using into his pack. "That didn't sound good." He said to the Ponyta then the duo headed into the bases main area, arriving not long after Lennyka.

Valarie's face contorted slightly in thought, "Growlithe burns wall then rampardos breaks it down." she paused, "It doesn't sound like an accident to me." Valarie stated. She was acting childish, too bad the watcher doesn't realize it... Even if she made a small pout.

Natalie pulled another coat from the rack, this one had a darker gray color than the other coat, "What about this one?" The trainer stared at her emolga blankly when she shook her head again, "Dusty," she sighed, "You denied all the other colors. I'm just going to--"
"Emol!" Dusty interrupted. The emolga hopped off her trainer and crawled through the racks. She then pointed at a dark red coat that Natalie missed.
Natalie stared, "That's... That's ridiculous, Dusty. This coat would trap more heat than that one." The trainer said and pointed at the material the coat she was holding had before she walked away to grab other necessities. Dusty called out to her trainer to bring her back, but seeing how that was ineffective, she flew after her, leaving the dark red coat behind.
