Mikhael kept following Belin. He spoke up again. "So. You and your friend... you're just classic adventurers? I mean, 'go around saving people' types?" It seemed like small talk, but he Just wanted to know enough about who he was dealing with.

((We showed up a half hour late, and had a close encounter of the perverted kind ( wahmbulance ) during intermission, but aside from that it was fun. biggrin It was an all improv show that plays three times a week, every week near my home and dorm. =D ))

"Hey, it's nothing personal - I'm just bad with names. For the longest while I thought that Atius' name was Alessa. After Riley was born, I kept calling him Leslie for the longest while. When he was about three I finally got his name right." Mala admitted with a chuckle. "Sometimes I'll remember a name from the get-go, but that isn't very often. It'd have to be something rather memorable for that to happen."

Once more, Mala was blushing from the embarassment. "I was too mad to even bother at first, which is why it took so long." She did actually remember it earlier on, but had decided to be a b***h halfway through and keep 'confusing' his name on purpose.

((I just realized. I think I've completely changed Van's personality around from the selfish narcissistic a*****e he was supposed to be. sweatdrop But then I also realized I can get away with it by calling it character development. biggrin ))

{That's true. I also origionally intended for Mala to be nothing but a worrywart nag at first, but she's become more of the flirtatious smartass. Or at least, I think she has. I doubt I can call it character development, though, since she's probably been similar to this beforehand(before the RP started, I mean).}
"Thank you." Mala said, not sure how else to reply to this. To be honest, nobody aside from Riley's ever told her anything similar. Even then, Riley was innocent and naive.

"I had that healed while we were in town so it would no longer be a burden." Mala replied rather proudly. "Like hell I was going to continue this adventure without getting my foot healed first. When you can't actually do anything about a foot you broke, it hurts like bloody hell. It's also a pain in the a** to try and walk."
