"MOMMY!" Purekit shouted, and dashed accross the clearing.
[She tackled Lavenderrain, burying her face into her mother's pelt.
She inhaled the sweet scent and felt relief wash through her. Her mother was safe.]
"I was worried, mommy, because I couldn't find Richkit and I got this feeling that something had happened to you and I was worried," Purekit said quickly, her eyes glittering.
"But Mommy," she said excitedly, "can Silverkit be my sister? She said she didn't know her mommy and I said you could be her mommy because you're an AWESOME mommy and she thought it would be neat and then we playfighted and she's a reaaally good fighter!"
[It all came out in a rush. Purekit was so happy to see her mother, she couldn't contain herself.
Up until now, Purekit didn't stop to think about what Lavenderrain would say about Silverkit becoming part of the family, and she paused, uncertain what her mother would say.]

 Lavenderrain
[Lavenderrain grunted from the unexpected tackle and the blur of fur in her chest but she was happy.]
"One thing at a time dearest." she mewed gently as she slid Purekit of her chest.
She thoroughly examined Purekit and then let out a laugh.]
"My my, someone hasn't been washing themselves lately. You look like you could've come right from Lionclan! You know your fur should look sleek and not puffed out everywhere. Here lemme help you." she dragged Purekit over to her and licked her pelt roughly.
"There. Now what were you saying? Silverkit being in our family? Oh, I'd be delighted to welcome her!" she mewed just as excitedly as Purekit.
"But mommy has had enough for one day, please call someone for me. My paw is injured. Sprained at the most. And where is Fathom, do you know honey?" she mewed flicking her tail over Purekit's ears.
((D'aww, Purekit is absolutely adorable.

(( She missed you her mommy! >> ))
[Purekit squealed with delight, eyes glittering. She glanced over at Silverkit, who was watching them, and nodded her head.
Narrowing her eyes contentedly, Purekit felt the warmth of her mother's tounge.
At the mention of Fathom though, her face turned sour.]
"He's over there, talking to Waterpaw," Purekit said gruffly, flicking her ears to where the leader stood with the apprentice. ═══════════════════════

Lavenderrain
"Thank you honey and don't make a face like that, you knew you were gonna get a cleaning any day now. I'll see you later." Lavenderrain mewed cheerfully misunderstanding Purekit's face as a dislike for cleanings.
"Go tell Silverkit the news I'm sure she'll be as happy as we are." she mewed throwing the words over her shoulder.
"Umm, I was just wondering about my mentor since she's not-- Lavenderrain!" Waterpaw mewed surprised.
[He watched her limp over to them.]
Wait.. limp? he thought shocked.
"Waterpaw, I'm glad to see you're doing fine! I need to steal a word with Fathom." she mewed limping more rapidly to the two toms.
She looks so cheery yet her paw.. Who shall be my mentor now? he thought.
[Waterpaw had always enjoyed Lavenderrain, she was a sincere cat who cared for the well-being of others.
She'd been a good mentor to him but now it seemed she'd have to slow down her duties for awhile.]

[Richkit had been out of the camp exploring for a long time. He had gotten hurt and slowly padded into the camp, his tail at a weird angle and scratch marks on his sides. Richkit looked over at Purekit with an embarrassed look and saw his mother. He didn't say anything and just sat down.]

Lavenderrain
[Lavenderrain was swishing her tail with happiness despite her injuries.
Suddenly something caught her attention out of the corner of her eyes.
Taking a quick glance at the two toms she nodded and limped as fast as she could towards Richkit.]
"Richkit! Where have you been? What are these scratch marks? Oh I don't even care I'm just glad you're here!" she mewed already working on smoothing out his pelt.
"You know Purekit has been worried but I knew you'd alway come home. Eeek! You're tail, it was so gorgeous but now look what you've done! Oh Richkit, I know I can hardly blame you for being a kit and all, but next time please be more careful!" she mewed pouting at his weird looking tail.
She limped to side and nudged himtowards the nursery.]
"Mommy's busy now, so please try to stay out of trouble Richkit." she mewed before turning back to the two toms.
[She truned back to them and saw that they looked a bit awkward.
She, however, wasn't shy about expressing her love.
She stalked back to them with her head held high.]

[Richkit pulled away from Lavenderrain and glared at her with cold eyes. He was mad that she had left them. He walked over to his sister and said,]
"I'm sorry for disappearing for a while. I hope you weren't worried about me."
(Sorry about the small posts. I'm not in the best of moods right now.)

 [Leopardpaw limped into camp, wincing with pain. The long journey home wasn't exactly comfortable, and it was much slower with all the wounded cats. Her flank was covered in dried blood where Comet ripped it ope, and she bit back a yowl from her two ripped claws. She feebly looked around and spotted Fathom, mewing a greeting before stumbling off to the medicine cat's den.]
"Hauntedheart? Anyone?" she called out, her voice barely above a whisper, laden with exhaustion.

"Richkit! Richkit!" Purekit called excitedly, scrambling towards the small kit.
[She had to hold herself back from tackling him, her normal affectionate greeting. She sniffed his tail, dismayed.]
"Aw, Richkit, you worried me sick! Next time let me come along so I can protect you!" Purekit said. Her face softening, she added, "Wow, what a fight! I bet you killed a giant monster, huh?"
[Fathom watched the display silently, his tail flicking in amusement. He watched the way Lavenderrain limped, and his heart sank.]
"Oh Lavenderrain," was all he could say.
[I knew I shouldn't have sent her, he thought miserably. It's my fault she's hurt. Now who will mentor Waterpaw?
And then Leapordpaw came.
She was in no better condition, and his heart twisted at the sight of his wounded apprentice.
He had to choke back a cry of alarm. He rushed to Leapordpaw, quickly inspecting her wounds.]
"Alright, you two, off to the medicine den immediately," he commanded, his leader instincts kicking in. "You need to get your rest. StarClan thanks you for you bravery."
He watched them limp off together, then said to Waterpaw, "Your mentor...yes. Obviously Lavenderrain is in no condition to mentor you, and my own apprentice is crippled as well...therefore, I will take responsibility for your training. I should've done so before, but I will now."
[He blinked at Waterpaw apologetically.]
(( Guys, just control Hauntedheart's actions, you know, with treating and all. c:
Also...can I just do a timeskip and say Fathom left to get his lives? >> ))═══════════════════════

((Aw, great. I'm no good with herbs! All I know is about cobwebs and poppy seeds and deathberries. I'm not kidding. OTL))
[Leopardpaw flopped down with a grunt in one of the nests. Hauntedheart hurried over and examined her wounds, giving her poppy seeds to ease the pain and pressing cobwebs to her ripped flank.
Leopardpaw obediently lapped uup the poppy seeds, and exhaustion caught up with her. Her eyelids felt as if they were boulders, and Leopardpaw slipped into a deep, dark sleep.]

[silverkit was overjoyed! leaping around despite her old wound had began to bug her, she stopped after a while because the pain had grown stronger] "ouch! I had better stop" [she mewed]

Willowheart
[She smiled, the kits were reunited with their mother. How sweet.... Her eyes fell as she took in the extent of Lavenderrain's and Leopardpaw's injuries. Poor cats.. Looking over at Foxfur, she grinned. She angled her ears towards the talk of mentors]
"Who needs a mentor? I'm free!"
[Her eyes lit up hopefully and her fluffy gray tail swished]

[Nightpaw looked around camp. She needed something to do. The Gathering was soon, she knew that if she didn't do anything she wouldn't be able to go.]"I wonder what I can do..." [She mumbled out loud.]

Foxfur&Willowheart
[Willowheart's ears perked up. There's a Gathering tonight! Searching the camp for Fathom, she padded towards him]
"Fathom," she dipped her head respectfully, "Who's going to the Gathering tonight?"
[Foxfur walked up to Willowheart and his leader]
"Well I hope you're not going!" He mewed,"I just got my best friend back!"
[Willowheart smacked him with her tail, her green eyes sparkling]
"If I do go, at least you won't have to worry about me getting killed by giant lion-cats!"
[She smiled]
"I know you missed me, Foxfur. But chances are, the Gathering's going to be about the journey! Which means, if Fathom lets me, I should be there"
[She looked back at Fathom, dismayed]
"Sorry if I sound out of line" she mewed, dipping her head again.
[Foxfur snorted, nudging her with his muzzle, then turning around and padding away]
[Willowheart shook her head, Honestly! Toms! She rolled her eyes at his retreating form, then turned back to Fathom, her eyes eager]

Lavenderrain
[Lavenderrain let Leopardpaw walk ahead while she strayed behind to catch a few last words with Fathom.
She flicked her tail in his face as she padded slowly after Leopardpaw.]
"Don't make a face like that. You should know Leopardpaw will fully recover. And me.. If my wounds don't heal then clan life must go on." she mewed with a weird sense of foreboding.
[Her bright purple eyes were full of uncertainty.]
"Good bye you two. I really am sorry, you know how clumsy I get don't you Waterpaw? I'll see you later." she mewed trying to keep it light.
[It's not like she was going anywhere.. so why did this good bye sound so final?
She shook her head as she padded on after Leopardpaw.]
[Waterpaw watched his mentor limp slowly away.
His heart felt heavy.]
"I don't see why you're apologizing though. It'd be an honour for the leader to mentor me." he mewed turning his now grey eyes on Fathom.
[Shifting his paws nervously he tried to make conversation.]
"The Gathering's tonight. I suppose Lavenderrain won't be there.. Who'll be going?" he asked politely.
[He shifted his paws once more but it wasn't out of nervousness.
He felt, well.. excited.
He'd never wanted to meet other clan cats cause he was so sure that there were other Eaglepaw's out there.
But he knew now that there were always kind cats, like Honeykit.
He clawed the ground in his mounting excitement.]
