I hate surgeries as well.
I could have an easy one done to my right shoulder, to prevent it from dislocating ever again. But I don't want it, unless it would be strictly necessarily.
And it's fun at parties to have my shoulder pop out of its place!... actually, it isn't for me...

The scary thing would always be losing something that wasn't suppose to be taken out or gain something that wasn't there earlier.
Never been surgery for I have never been injured in anyway possible, although for some reason my parents took me to get my teeth out.
Guys+Surgery=Man with horrible thought of gaining breasts....

Wimps, I have had some nay surgeries I lost count, and I have also came very close to death many times in my life, most happened when I was a little kid. My most recent surgery was when I broke my arm I snapped the bone completely and fractured my wrist in five places, took like half a year to fully heal,and a month or more of physical therapy to get strength back.

Meep, I haven't even broken any bones or gotten any stitches.... so a surgery would be a huge jump for me... ;~;

I've had 3 times put under, and all three I've had stuff removed. First was my wisdom teeth, second my tonsils and adenoids, and three.. I dun think the majority of you would like that information, so I'll not speak of it.
I loved the anesthesia, full night's sleep in about an hour, if that. Twas wonderful. I woke up the first time from that stuff doing math, getting answers right to the process I didn't know. Then I went to sleep and got my horrible sleep back ><
