Helena finally felt the weight of her oath and the broken spirit mend enough to allow her to awaken. Weakly her eyes began to open as she looked between Tanis, Shinn, Miluiel, and Azrael. She didn’t understand why everyone was around her but had to know it was something bad to need all four near her like that. Her spirit began it’s mending process, but she could not speak at all, least not yet.

Tanis smiled shaking her hand gently in his. "Welcome back." he said his eyes gleaming with a watery look. "You must get better now."
Miluiel smiled at her and turned back to Shinn and Azrael. She kneeled down to Shinn's level and whispered to him. "You did well little one. Thank you for healing her spirit." She kissed his head.

"M-me?" Shinn asked. "I helped?" He looked into Miluiel's eyes in wonder, with his wide eyes looking into hers.
Veral returned to the house at a slow shamble. It hurt his very soul to see the damage that had been caused, and he still hadn't recovered enough to leave. To spare these people of the problems he caused. He sat down by the fire in the central room and stared into the flames silently.
Mazzia saw Veral and stamped her foot. "And where were you?!" She demanded, quite clearly upset.
Veral looked up sadly. "I was... getting some air." He said. "Would you mind finding my blindfold?" He asked. Mazzia nodded and returned with it. He accepted it and tied over his vestigial eyes. "I have to leave Mazzia... my being here caused this disaster."
Mazzia shook her head and wrapped her arms around him. "No... no, it wasn't you. How could you know that he was looking for you. Like you said you didn't even know that dragon existed. It wasn't your fault."
Veral sighed. "But he is after me. And now that I know, I have to keep him away... I know that now he has seen the village, he probably won't be able to resist harassing it... but if I'm not here... then he will lose interest quickly... and I will be far away. And when he finds me... I'll be at the most desolate uninhabited edge of the earth... and I will fight to my last breath to kill him."

Helena nodded as she looked at him. Her voice seemed still to be missing from her as she moved her head towards Tanis. She needed him desperately as it seemed that she needed rest terribly. She didn’t need to sleep any further luckily, just lie there and rest. Her voice eventually could be found. “Thank you…” Her eyes looked at all of them. She’d then look at Tanis as she closed her eyes again seeming to fall asleep this time.

Tanis smiled at them. "Thank you for coming and helping her to get better. It is greatly appreciated. I am sorry to have bothered you. From this point I think I may be able to take over. You all should get some sleep, today is your big day Miluiel, unless plans have changed." He looked between the two. "But regardless you should be resting." He looked back to Helena, watching her sleep.
"Yes Shinn, you did it, you were the one who brought her back to us. Thank you." she said to him. She looked up at Azrael, "Should we return to the family den?" She asked him. "I think it would be wise to discuss what has happened, and our plans." She smiled gently.

"Yay!" Shinn said. "I'm helpful!" He cheered enthusiastically.
Azrael looked at Miluiel and nodded. "Yes... let us talk in the family den." He said standing up. "Let us talk and then get some rest." He said. He patted Shinn's head softly, and took Miluiel's hand in his own. "Come... let let them rest." He said as he led them both back to the family den. He brushed through the flap and sat the two down on the bed before sitting between them. "So... any subject you want to start with?" He asked.

Miluiel laughed softly. She hugged Shinn before standing up and, with her hand in Azrael's followed him back to the family den. She sat beside them happy to be back with them. She looked up into Azrael's eyes, "What is going to happen today, after what just passed is it too soon?" Miluiel asked, She didn't want their day to be plagued by bad memory.

"If you wish for my thoughts... I personally believe that we should not change our intentions for today." He said honestly. "Yes, perhaps this day is marred by such a tragedy. But I would rather that we solidified a happy memory on this day, rather than allow a bad one to fester." He leaned forward. "A lot of good happened from this. This event has reminded me to be vigilant, and reminded myself of my responsibilities, and we will not be taken off guard again. We wolves have lived this kind of life all of our lives. We chose this life in wilds for ourselves, and we must make the best of it. I would rather celebrate this day in the future for the hope new life and being with, than mourn this day for the loss of past life. The Moon Father plans as he plans, and the Great Mother weaves as she weaves." Azrael touched Miluiel's chin as he gazed into her own eyes. "Let us celebrate this day. By celebrating this day for good and for celebrating the life we shall share with each other, and through that celebrating we can rob evil and injustice of having any sort of victory." He said to her. "But I leave the final choice to you." He said softly.

Helena kept a hold of Tanis’ hand as she lay there sleeping. Her eyes still closed as she slept. Her body looked almost like a young girl’s as she curled up in a ball sleeping. Her wings would vanish from her back finally as she would revert to full human form instead of half-human, half-dragon. Her face even looked innocent despite being covered in dirt from the fight she was in.

Miluiel nodded. She smiled lovingly at Azrael. "Then with the Moon Father as our witness we shall be wed on this day." Her cheeks were rosy pink with joy. "Today will not be a sad day, we can work hard to fix what happened last night, and then tonight, before night fall," She took his other hand in hers, and with the hand at her shin she placed her finger tips gently against it, "We shall be joined, connected forever in holy matrimony. It is a new beginning dearest, today is the first day of a new generation." She looked into his eyes, feeling the same thing she had felt before. Again Shinn was the witness of the silence of deep connection.
Tanis kissed her head. For a moment he looked at her and saw her as a child, maybe one day his child. Not the woman before him, but a combination of the two. It was a strange feeling, this feeling of looking upon Helena. He felt almost intrusive, but it felt like the right place to be. He hoped she was sleeping well.

"For from all endings.... there come new beginnings." Azrael smiled as his eyes connected with her. When he looked into her beautiful eyes, he felt like he had known Miluiel for years and that he had put off this moment for centuries too long. He enjoyed the feeling they shared, as they shared their thoughts with each other.
Shinn went to lie down on the bed. He lay down on his belly and looked up at them his head propped up with his hands, and his tail wagging with broad sweeps, he could feel their happiness and it seemed to clean his sadness away.

Miluiel kissed his cheek, just off to the side of his lips. "I love you Azrael, and you Little Shinn." She smiled at the pup, so he knew he wasn't forgotten. She looked back into Azrael's eyes, "Dearest, we should sleep, tomorrow maybe a hard night to sleep, we should take what we can." she felt the ring again around her neck, it's coolness tapped against her skin. She smiled. "What do you say dear?" she asked.

Helena eventually woke up after sleeping awhile. Her tired eyes looked around as they seemed to be blurry. Her eyes looked at Tanis as she smiled gently. “Aren’t you going to get some sleep?” Her words came gently as she laid there. Her body was tired as she sat up slightly looking at Tanis. She’d kiss him lightly upon the lips before laying back down again to sleep. She felt she needed to kiss him good night before heading back to sleep again. Her previous dreams were plagued by the green dragon, but she felt this time they would be plagued by thoughts of Tanis.
Shera would smile as she laid there next to Celeron. Eventually she woke up to seeing Celeron asleep, he looked so handsome laying there. Her lips would move to kissing his gently before wrapping her arms gently about him locking her arms in a loving embrace about him. “I love you.” These were her words as she lied there next to the one that had her heart.

"Sleep sounds grand, my love." Azrael said laying down on the bed. "It is best that we get some sleep while we can." He tickled Shinn gently and he giggled happily, but he could tell that Shinn was tired as well. "Lie down my love... let us get some rest now." He said.

Tanis nodded, "I just wanted to make sure you were going to be alright." he lay beside her, kissing her back. He was getting very groggy, the drink had messed up the clarity in his mind. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.
Miluiel lay beside Azrael, she waited for the soft sound of Shinn's breathing to show that he was asleep. She looked back at Azrael. "Dearest?" she asked, "Would it be more beneficial for me to be part of your clan?" she asked, "I mean, would it be better for me to become a werewolf, like you?" She knew that at least for a while, until she saved her people the change was out of the question. But was it something that she should consider. She didn't know how it would be, how they would be looked at, it is would be easy to be a couple when they were so different. "Other wolves won't judge you will they?"
