Jarlaxle Baenre I never expected the beast to come up though. XD The ship was my first experience with undead in that game. But the Cradle is effing scary. But remember: Holy Water and Fire are your friends. OMG! PAGE 666! PAGE OF THE BEAST.

That's because in the memory you're unarmed. Then you just gotta sneaky-sneak until you can run out the window and plummet to your 'demise.'

The residents can't be backstabbed though.
If you actually want to fight them head on (don't know why... maybe if you get caught), they're tougher than the statues.

Seriously.
When there's a patch of shadow where logically there shouldn't be any shadow, due to there being a light with no obstruction not two feet away, I think I can tell that there's a thing there.

Hell, I thought Thief was scarier than Doom 3.
I guess it's the fact that you're more or less a normal human who isn't loaded with weapons (of mass destruction?). In the Doom games you're always packing some heavy-a** artillery.

I thought they were alive as when I backstabbed them, they died... well... sort of... but after I stepped one one, he got up again...
