Psychoholic Slag It is becoming increasingly difficult, I've noticed. I don't think I'll stop role playing in the DCU, but I may cut a few characters, like Jim Roark. I think I'll just kill him outright at the end of the BLC arc, I really don't have any other uses for him... He was a concept character that didn't really work in the first place, mainly because of my own inabilities, so I've decided to give him a most triumphant end. Let's see, I'll be bringing back Green Arrow, Bane is now a good guy... Grundy and Batzarro are in YJ... That's it, then. Yeah, Jim's on his way out, leaving Bane and Ollie. I think I'm going to go the Brightest Day route and prey on Mr. Queen's own insecurities about his past, mainly with his mother and father... By the way, I have the complete Brightest Day, now, and as soon as I get the chronology down, I'll be re-posting the Brightest Day arc. Well good because you owe Ivy that much! Her and Ollie and Ivy and Green Arrow were supposed to knock heads and what not until you killed him off! Do you know how many damn plots and scenes I came up with when they had their little scene in her office?! *strangles Slag* I'm sorry Stray, I know how you feel. I think I've been a victim of ignoring you two when I really don't try to, just trust me when I say I don't write Ivy she writes herself. Maybe she and Tom can have a fight scene one day. Don't forget you guys need to tell me when the current arc is over. It's extremely pivotal for Ivy's character that she has that scene with Harley where she breaks down and breaks Harley off a piece of her mind.

It was less of a trip and more of a 15 minute drive either way, Haur. And it was pretty good. It was sadly the last year for this con, though. I'll miss it.
Buuuuuut I did leave with some decent swag: A hand-made, hand-painted cellphone charm, three shirts (2 of which were free), and a decorative (yet functional) knife that has the potential to be sharpened further. The metal doesn't have a glossed ceremonial finish (unlike my heirloom sword), and the blade has a decent (yet fairly dull) edge on it. If I had to, I could definitely do damage with it.
And yes, I had a lovely time at the adult panels. The only downside was the electronic cigarette prop the head of the hentai panel was using. It had this fake powder smoke stuff that weirded out my eyes. But he WAS cosplaying Duke Nukem, so I let it slide. No permanent damage, after all.

I did that SATURDAY, darling. Funniest panel I've ever been in. One of the bands had the room next to the panel room, and they poked over a few times from the sounds of moaning and laughter. You want a fun time at a convention? Go to the goddamn adult panels. THAT'S where the humor is.
